I'm a "pro/am" live sound guy with over 30 years of weekend experience and I'm very good at it. I…read morethought the live sound quality of my Midas/Meyer rig was as good as it could get - until I picked up a Manley Labs VoxBox and ran my Taylor 12-string through it. The warmth of the lows, fullness of the mids and the smooth presence of the highs was incredible. This is real electricity traveling along copper wire, not a bunch of zeros and ones trying to create a digital imitation of sound. The VoxBox sounds better 45 minutes after you turn it on, and when you turn it off it takes literally several minutes for it's energy to dissipate back into the ether, to be collected another day. The construction quality and moving parts are 1945-era military grade. The tubes ARE actual military grade (but newer). EveAnna Manley says that every tube is tested, and only about one out of every three or four pass the test and are installed. My VoxBox is the only inanimate object I have ever loved. It was stolen in San Clemente, CA, in 2007 Ser#VBX1616. I still miss it!

To quote Kevin "What can I say? Things happen."…read more This snippy, blythe remark was made to me after an amplifier I bought from them new bricked. Disappointing. No good-faith attempt, nor any attempt, was made to make it right even after my spending into five figures with them at this shop. I spoke to a different person each time I inquired about the problem and each sounded unconcerned. I got the brush off. They couldn't even take it in for a look towards repairing it (with me offering to foot the bill). In addition, and perhaps most importantly, the 3 product reviews I've submitted to their site about this unit have been not been posted which leads one to the assumption that only the positive reviews of their products are posted. Which, of course, means the whole review section of their website is potentially untrustworthy, misrepresentative and useless. The cynic might say "Of course!" And I would have said that also, but I thought this place was different. It's not. Kevin's an expert salesman and pitchman, but save your duckets and keep moving.

I went in to check out some of their musical selection and a cajon box they had. The guitar selection was a lot more than I was expecting. Also Adam, who works there, is a damn experienced guitarist. I watched him quickly put strings onto a customers guitar and tune it like a mad man... followed by played it like a pro. Knowledgeable in the arts of music, that Adam is! I was helped by the other employee that works there named Alfred. Really kind dude that showed me some of the store and chatted a bit with. Alfred helped me with purchasing the cajon box and we got off on a tangent about music and life. Easy to talk with and someone who you can tell cares about the customer's experience. Easy going people, good vibes place, and great first experience. However, a gentleman that claimed to be the owner's Son is a little whiny child that makes nothing but himself and doesn't give a horses ass about customers . Short version is I did business with them and accidentally left some items there that they have first did not want. They told me I can come back at any time I want and I have a proof through text of this. These people are also on OfferUp so I'm assuming that means they're not doing as well as expected so they try to find other cheap sites or social media to advertise. However, they did not tell me that I had a timeframe I had to be there to pick up the stuff otherwise they would either keep it or sell it. I didn't have time until recently to do it because I had family that was in the hospital and I was focused on other matters. Anyways, when I got there, they had sold the items after not wanting the items originally and gave me nothing for them. I only asked for only $10 for two Mexican dolls which makes to $5 per doll I asked the suppose son of the owner if I could get in contact with his dad, he refused and told me that he didn't want me to waste his dad's time or his. I have present the evidence you though pic and video of the "owners son" please check it out and you decide for yourself. Thank you for your time Ps I wish there was a nagitve star on this app
