As a new resident of St. Cloud, I am trying to figure out places near by so I don't have to always drive to Orlando for good food. Mutt's fortunately is only 8 minutes from my house and I am thankful for that since this place has some really good burgers. The interior is some what small but definitely has a mom and pop feel to it. The young lady who works the counter is kind and very attentive. The restaurant is clean and has TV's all around to keep you distracted while you wait for the Burger. I kept it simple and ordered a bacon cheeseburger and was absolutely impressed with the taste. A very delicious burger that definitely puts other burger places to shame. My only real complaint are the fries. They taste good but I like my fries to be thicker. The fries here are really skinny but still good. Been here twice already and recommend if you if are in the neighborhood. I plan on going back again soon! read more

Food was amazing. Got a chili cheese dog and some tater tots. Tots were nice and crispy and hot dog was tasty just way too messy for me. Next time I'll stick to the corn dog or regular hot dog. They did however provide silverware. Customer service was great. They brought it out to my table with a smile and even have a bell near the door to ring if you've been treated well during your visit. Another excellent eating option for food in St Cloud. This is a pure Mom-n-Pop burger joint that has some great menu items. The old schoolers will love the pork tenderloin sandwich as those seem to be rarities nowadays. The burgers are unreal. I agree with another reviewer that the single is plenty. The double is wonderful but huge! The fries are hand cut, shoestring style and they have vinegar to go with them. Sitting outside is great because you are right on 192 and can people watch, etc. We've never had a bad meal at Mutt's and would recommend it to anyone. As foodies from the NYC metro, we can be quite particular about what makes or doesn't make a good burger establishment. While traveling from one of our family members to another in Florida this holiday season we needed to jump off the turnpike and get a quick meal that was both delicious and not "chain" same ol same ol. Mutt's on 13th doesn't disappoint! The place is a renovated gas station which has a certain kinda reclaimed charm. Inside the decor is a mix between a throwback ice cream parlor and a garage with fun games on the table for folks to play while they wait. The menu is great and it's clear they take pride in making every order to the customers specifications. My husband got an choc. Shake that he said was to die for and our burgers were just perfect. This is a solid choice for a good burger! My son and I stopped at Mutt's after some recommendations from the locals. The place is really small (6 small tables and some counter seating). It was really clean and bright, staff was friendly. Ok...get to it...how was the food? One of my biggest pet peeves is soggy bacon on a burger...my friends, let me tell you, this bacon was meaty and perfectly crispy! Burgers were a great size and the onion rings were fantastic! (So hard to find good rings!) The only reason there aren't 5 stars is that the burgers were under seasoned and the chocolate shake had Ice chips (another pet peeve) and my 8y/o turned his nose up at it...a chocolate shake...unheard of! Also, with a $30 price tag for 2 burgers, 2 sides, and 1 shake...I would have expected near perfection! Get the basics, add some S&P, this is a good stop! read more

Had my first experience at Mutt's today and it was delightful. The restaurant itself is very cool, I love how it is in a converted gas station (is that right?). Very cool, diner type of feel. Old school and to the point! Service is also very nice and attentive. The food.... I had a chili cheese dog and French fries. For $6, I was not very impressed. It was decent, but nothing to rave about. French fries are very bland, they could use seasoned salt. Hot dog was okay. I'm really proud of St. Cloud. They are really doing it. Original restaurants, with excellent food. Mutt's on 13th is from the same owners as the Philly Cheese Steak Place close by. If you haven't checked either place out yet, you need to. Mutt's serves up Classic American deli, diner type foods. Burgers, hot dogs, corn dogs, sandwiches such as a Reuben, Pulled Pork, Fries, Onion Rings, and delicious milkshakes. Unlike some places that serve this kind of food this place is unbelievable clean. Shiny metals, sparkling clean tables, there tea containers look so new it looks like it's the first time they've ever brewed tea. This also means you'll never get that old tasting tea taste, you know the taste. There is that one Mcdonalds you never order tea at because they don't wash out their tea containers well and the tea always taste old and nasty even though it was freshly brewed. Well you'll never find that at Mutts. In fact all this cleanliness alludes to the fact that all their products are quality and fresh. All of the beef for the hamburgers is all purchased from Rife's Meat Market down the street. Mutt's realizes if you do something, you might as well do it right. They are in turn supporting local businesses as well and that is a good feeling. Service is friendly, and quick, and the decor is overloaded with cute little pictures of puppies starring at you. I enjoyed my single burger. Don't mistake the name, it's actually quite large. The bun is wonderful and the lettuce, tomato and pickles on it were very good. Onion rings are a wonderful side order. and I saw someone get that milkshake and it made me want one. Ahhh next time. Pop in for some great local food that is supporting local business. If you are looking for a good case of heartburn on a Friday night, this is it, and I mean that in the best way possible. I had a double chili cheese dog. It was yummy and the price was comparable to most fast food chains. The wife had a burger and I had a bite and it was good as well. We also split a chocolate malt and it was done right. You had to work to suck it through the straw...the way it should be. The fries were the only let down. They were kind of skimpy and wimpy, but I barely noticed, because mine were drenched in cheese. So, if you are looking to loosen the belt and not the wallet, please skip the chain burgers and go here. They do it better all the way around and with much more charm. read more
