From the moment I called, all the way through the process, and even after the sell/installation, the employees of Cook Heating & Air have been courteous, professional and just plain nice. Angie on the phone, Troy with the service call, Mark and Kevin with the installation - impressive, knowledgable, patient, honest...this is how a company is supposed to treat its customers. I would not hesitate to enthusiastically endorse Cook Heating & Air. Our new geothermal system is amazing thusfar - pretty much a constant 68 degrees - even when it's in the 90's outside. Perfect. Jay & Chris-They did a great job on the installation of ducts in my house and their repair work was exceptional. The job was completed in a timely fashion, and there wasn't a mess left behind. Angie-She is a great customer service representative, and I was very pleased with her coordinating abilities. Denny-He is a very honest and trustworthy owner. You can be sure that he will only repair what's needed and he won't try to sell unneeded services. Once he quotes you a price, he will always honor it.

Highly Recommend Hoppy…read more.. We recently had an AC unit installed by Hoppy and were extremely impressed with the service from start to finish. Our Home has 14 year old Goodman and they gave us choices of repairing only the needed component but at this age we decided to go with modern, better SEAR value unit. We got 12 year warranty and Yearly Service included with this install. Fast Service: The entire process, from initial inquiry to completed installation, was handled efficiently and quickly. Their attention to detail is evident due to their use of a tablet with custom questions and collection of data to assure we didn't miss a process nor engineering size issues, etc. Confident Professionals: The technicians were knowledgeable and instilled confidence in their expertise. On August 20, 2025 Mr. Quik came out for our annual HVAC inspection and confirmed what we knew this…read moretime last year, that we would need a new AC unit. Close inspection was done and followed up by one of their trusted advisors whom we've come to know over the years. Our new system was installed the very next day. The two guys who came out were thorough, neat and complete. One was inside for the breakdown, while his partner was outside preparing for the transition of the unit with removal, new pad and ultimately seating the new unit. They had it all up and running within about 4.5hrs. They cleaned up after themselves, explained everything to me and were on their way. We couldn't be more happier and can tell the difference between the old unit and the new one, complete with a new Ecobee thermostat. We've been using Mr. Quik for about 8yrs now and have been completely satisfied with the service, preventative maintenance and sales when it's been warranted.

First off the sized our furnace too big for our home. They sold us a unit to cool and heat 3000sq feet, and our home is half that size. September was when I started ill with headaches and respiratory issues. I needed a lung biopsy. Biopsy showed no bacterial of fungal infection. Doctor said it was air contaminates causing my breathing problems. That was October. Christmas rolls around and I'm still ill. April we call someone to look at our water heater he informed me their is a gas leak in the basement coming from he HVAC system. I called Mister Quick immediately, Nick informed me that when the HVAC system was installed it was installed improperly. It was leaking gas in 4 different locations from the gas pipe to the furnace. He spent 3 hours repairing the installers mess ups. I immediately started feeling better. The facial swelling and headache went away. 9 days free from a gas leak in my home and I'm feeling much better. My husband said our home could have blown up and that's also what the gas company told me when I reported Mister Quick. I live in Brown County and from now on when we get anything new added to our home we are going with a local company that has our best interest in mind.

I'm really sad to put this because the first time I ever called used Dave's Heating and Cooling…read morethey were very prompt, great, and informative. But this last time was anything but that. We were concerned about our furnace in a new house. Granted we are an all electric and we did not know much about how it worked, other than the fact our electric bill practically tripled, so we wanted to rule out anything that could be causing problems. I had replaced both elements on my water heater, checked the amperage on my panel, furnace, and water heater to not find anything to cause alarm before the service call date. However upon arrival after driving my kids to school the day of the service ca I caught the tail end of the technician basically telling my wife 'either find a new number to be comfortable with, or purchase a heat pump or a new furnace.' I did electrical work when I was younger and could never imagine speaking to a customer this way. I understand that the winter had been rough and you didn't want to be out in it but as a customer I was requesting service, paying for said service and answers. Not for my wife or I to spoken to disrespectfully the way we were. Also the comment of 'your bill is what it is.' I'm sorry but sounds to me like customer service and speaking with tact was not something that was taught. I do not care how skilled or knowledgeable someone is, if you are just rude and disrespectful there is no reason or excuse for that. Maybe others will have better luck, but as for me I will pay the service bill I will be getting charged, which I'm essentially paying for someone to treat me like an idiot and tell me to spend more money to 'possibly' save money in the long run, but will definitely not be calling this business again.

HCI to the Rescue. Above and Beyond the Call of Duty. They responded when my contract carrier…read morerefused. Outstanding fast efficient professional work. They have an uncommon sense of customer care in a humanitarian sense that's sadly lacking today. Background: We got hit by the perfect storm: very cold weather sets in, evening, weekend. And now let's add I'm home convalescing from Covid all of a sudden, my heat pump decides to die. No problem I call my 24/7 contract tech AIRTRON. They tell me since there's a Covid case in my home they will not respond, PERIOD! I have to wait a minimum of 10 days. I sadly start pleading, saying I've been a loyal monthly paying sap for over 2 years, that I promise to remain indoors, that the heat pump is outside, that since it's iced it's an outside problem, that I will do everything by phone. That if the problem is inside then I understand, but if it's outside please come and inspect. Nope! They've hired the perfect quasi sociopathic phone operator. She says, "No,..." sending chills down my spine, and most professionally distant and void of any human emotion, "Ok, call us back in 10 days, I'm only following direction from my manager BYE! Click!" I then call my neighbor who grew up here and knows everyone, he says, oh no problem call Buddy Hart and his son Schuyler at HCI HEATING AND COOLING. They're local folks. They'll take care of you and are human beings. They are the best. I call Buddy at HCI. I tell my problem. I tell him I had family member test positive for COVID, was fully vaccinated, feeling okay, just headache. But will stay locked indoors. Please come and help. Buddy doesn't hesitate and says, " No problem be right there don't worry. We'll get you up and running again." Schuyler Hart from HCI comes right away, diagnoses problem and has us back up in operation. Thank You HCI for going way above the call of duty. God bless you all.

Needed an inspection of heat pump, knowing that refrigerant was low. Our usual HVAC service company…read morehadn't been reaching out for a biannual clean and check in quite some time, and when called a few times to arrange an appointment, no answer. Even no follow up call after leaving several messages. Called Buddy at HCI, was able to set up appointment for later that week and received prompt and efficient service to the keep the old unit operating until a decision can be made about a new one. Highly recommend them, very friendly and approachable with good knowledge and informative when asked questions. No hard selling either.
