Tommy just left and was AMAZING! He was knowledgeable and took the time to explain what happened to our furnace, why it happened, and how it needed to be fixed. Estimates were given prior to work being done so we knew what we were spending before the work was done. Afterward, he discussed ways to help prevent the problem we had and discussed options moving forward to install a new unit. A huge bonus is that he was comfortable working in a historic home and was familiar with how homes were heated and cooled during the turn of the century. We were so pleased with the service from start to finish. The customer service rep was friendly and knowledgeable as well. She had Tommy here within the hour. During the scheduled maintenance visit, Tommy found an issue with our old unit that took it out of commission. Being the last call of the day, and a Friday, the new AC unit was not going in until Monday. Cook provided a window unit to keep the house comfortable until the new unit could be installed. Barbara was great on the phone, keeping me updated when to expect the install team. Eric and Tim were timely and made sure to call me before they arrived and when the job was finished for the day. They walked me through their work and made sure the area around the outside and inside components were cleaned up after the install. We had an emergency "No water" situation (we are on a well) late on a Friday afternoon and our well installer couldn't be here until Monday. We prepared for a long weekend w/o water but then remembered Cook. Cook installed our HVAC several years ago and has maintained it, so on what we thought was a long shot we called them about our water problem. Our regular HVAC tech Tommy was out here by 8pm that same night and diagnosed and fixed the problem on our pressure tank after just ten minutes in our crawl space. It was a wonderful surprise, especially since we are caring for an ill dog and our no-water weekend would have been MUCH more difficult. Cook put in my air conditioning system over five years ago and it has worked very well. Recently we had thermostat problems so we asked them to come out and check the system and the thermostat. Angie was helpful and courteous in scheduling and Troy was very professional in his service call. He checked out the system and suggested and installed a new state of the art thermostat that works off our wifi so we can control it using our phone from anywhere. It was expensive but we are sure it will be worth it. Troy spent as much time as we needed to familiarize us with the new system. This is a very professional company. read more

Troy B was the service tech that came and serviced our unit in our office. Troy called the office first to let us know he was coming, and then when he did come, he introduced himself and explained what he would be doing, After servicing our unit, he apologized for it being a little warm (since he had to have it off) and that it should be cooling again very soon. Cook has installed a/c, hot water heater, gas line / gas logs purchased from another company, and now a new furnace. Obviously, we find them to be wonderful to work with! Tommy and his installation crew have been wonderful and even came out on a very cold and icy Saturday to install the new furnace. Office staff and Garrett are also fabulous. I was very impressed with how well Cooks communicated with me on when and where the service gentleman was. I called and was able to get a service member the same day. My service member Troy was extremely knowledgeable. He had actually installed the furnace in my home a year prior before I bought the house so he knew all the ins and outs and explained everything to me.
