We needed an expansion tank installed on our hot water heater and the first plumber we called, quoted us an absurd amount. We called Cornwell's; the price was good and what we expected. The technician that came out was helpful and knowledgeable. He told us some things we should consider doing in the future but did not try to oversell us on anything. I wish I found Cornwell's the first day we moved to Brownsburg. They will be the only plumber we call from now on.

While it was frustrating to be in the situation, I felt assured that David wasn't going to take advantage or take any short cuts while fixes someone else's mistakes. He communicated very well- he gave me updates on when he'd arrive for both the quote and the work. He was very professional, wore booties around the house, cleaned up all the messes from the installation and ensured we were 100% happy before leaving. He also gave a range of options for the repair/replacement; ie fix the current leak, fix the worst part vs total replacement. In addition, he let us know his work is guaranteed and to call if there are any issues. Again, to be in a situation where someone you hired did not do the job they were supposed to, it is very frustrating and you feel very taken advantage of. David came in and completely reversed the situation and gave us a ton of advice for next steps. It was great to work with him! We will be sure to use him for all our future plumbing needs!

I followed up two times and received no response. When I finally did get a response on the 3rd attempt, they supposedly had no record of ever being at my house, yet there was a text message exchange from April 18th in the same text message thread of them confirming an employee was on the way. They then asked me to do their job for them and tell them when the employee was there and what they were supposed to quote. Magically, it took them 2 minutes to deliver the quote via text! Only problem, they didn't quote everything they were supposed to quote. Seriously, this is not difficult, I am literally trying to give you business and you cannot give me a quote for what I asked for in an effective manner? I am trying to do business with what I thought was a nice, local, family owned operation, but apparently they did not take the business 101 class. I called again and asked for a complete, accurate quote to be emailed to me like any normal, professional business should be able to do. The lady again acted like she had no clue who I was and said she was going to look it up after gathering the same info from me that I had previously given to her multiple times. Once she found the information, she texted me back to say she had quoted me for the job....again...you quoted me for half of the job, not the full job. Pay attention to what I am telling you. I am trying to give you business for MORE than what you are even quoting, yet you cannot comprehend basic requests or produce a professional, thorough quote via email. It is sad because I feel like this is a good business with good people, but they lack in details and in the capacity to run daily operations in a way to where they know what is even going on. Sorry, but I tried...and tried...and tried... to give you business, but your own ineptitude (you might have to look this up to know what it means) failed you. Good luck...I will talk to some of your employees who will tell me what is really going on there.
