Saturday evening, our car battery actually exploded in a parking lot. We called AAA, and the…read moreestimated wait time was three and a half hours, far beyond the one-hour window they have before you're allowed to call your own company. While waiting for the AAA company, we reached out to several other towing services, but no one was available. Then we called Stickles Towing, and the driver was absolutely amazing. He was upfront that he was backed up at least two and a half hours, but he genuinely made an effort to rearrange his route to get to us as soon as possible. He even called to follow up and check if we still needed help. That level of professionalism and care really stood out. Unfortunately, we ended up replacing the battery ourselves in the parking lot at the four-hour mark, but even though this would have been an out-of-pocket service, his dedication and kindness didn't go unnoticed. So I called AAA and they put me on the perpetual hold, and my friends and I screwed around with a wire hanger for a little while and I did NOT freak out, thank you very much. When all of a sudden, from just around the riverbend, we saw the telltale flashing lights of....could it be....a tow truck?!?!? Were our party prayers answered?????? Mr. Randig, can you rescue me????
