This visit was much better than the first one I made with them. My son and I received great care. I would go back to them again for similar symptoms. When looking at their ratings versus other facilities in the area that were open today - they had the best ratings and once we arrived they got patients in and out quickly.

And they've screwed up my families billing to many times to count. We have 2, yes two forms of health insurance. When you try to call to fix the issue, you can't understand what they are saying except for "that's your bill, pay now?" "We bill you, you pay" Avoid the medical billing shakedown from these 3rd party mobsters. They'll have you in collections for thousands over a aspirin that you never took. They do medical billing code like they are playing a game of bingo. AFC, if you want to be a better place, ditch the 3rd party mobsters and con artists. Staff and doctors are great, not worth dealing with a shakedown for your money because they have no idea how to bill your insurance.

I was going to go to an Urgent Care but thought if I could get an appointment that same day or the next I should probably go see my PCP. I called the office as soon as they opened to see if I could get in and was told there had been a cancellation and I could be there in the next 2 hours. That was a big relief. When I got there I didn't have to wait too long to be called back. After he came in and I explained what was going on he was very dismissive and acted like I was wasting his time for being there. He was in the room less than 10 minutes total and basically told me to go home and take a vitamin and eat better. He looked at some lab results I had taken just 2 days prior because I had an annual checkup already scheduled for the next week. He said he didn't see anything wrong in my bloodwork either. Later that day the issue I had seen him for started to spread to other areas of my body and I ended up in the ER because of it. Also after reviewing all of my bloodwork results from the ones taken just 2 days prior there were some things that were showing that there really was a bigger problem going on. I have decided that I will not be using him as my PCP in the future. He has a lot of 5 star reviews and only 5 star reviews. But after reading through them even the other patients who pretty much reported the same behavior from him it showed 5 stars. There is definitely something off about that. There is no way a patient treated like we were wasting his time coming to him with our petty problems would leave a 5 star reviews. That just made me not trust him even more. No doctor only has 5 star reviews So, I will have to try and find a new doctor who will actually care about their patients and be respectful to them.

The billing department said they'd help me on multiple occasions, eventually comprehending that it was miscoding, but they did not succeed. So I'm out hundred of dollars and haven't seen in a general practitioner in over a year.

I was told they would visit her in the nursing home. I trusted them. I tried to get someone to see her for a cough {pain in chest} and a possible chest Xray..that did not happen....the nursing home did everything right..I changed to the nursing home facility MD {took less than 24 hrs for her to be seen} and she had an xray the same day and she has pneumonia! At 91 yrs old this may not play out well. Shame on this care provider.

From the office staff to those who assist the physicians, the atmosphere is always cordial , helpful and very efficient. By the time I get to see my doctor, I can assure you that no one has left any stone unturned. My physician has everything at his fingertips and there is never a need for him to chase missing preliminary information. The physicians are both thorough and informative with each of my medical visits. With rare exceptions to office patient medical emergencies I have never experienced a long wait. I am also appreciative to be able to have all laboratory tests done in office. I cannot think of one reason to seek my care elsewhere and highly recommend Valley Internal Medicine to anyone in search of excellent medical care.

My recovery process went much better than I expected, I was NEVER pushed past what I was comfortable with. Both William and Deanna were very understanding of everything, they let me take breaks as often as I needed and did not mind if it put them at a slight bit of inconvenience. Both physical therapists are very good at making conversation so that it is not an awkward appointment every time. I would DEFINITELY recommend going to University Physical Therapy; they are both so nice and so caring.
