AC was broken, hot but $hit happens! bartender was great; efficient and had to deal with some dummies.. not easy being a bartender had two good salads

I agree with most of the reviews here. This is really a dive bar masquerading as an Irish bar. Service is average and hardly friendly. Menu is limited and nothing Irish about it. They had Guinness on tap but mine came from around the back of the bar and after tasting it, definitely from a can. Wings are "market price" lol. I won't even go into the blue cheese issue (you can see for yourself in the photo), but I will say what I got wasn't blue cheese or ranch...hmmm. Very average taste and Oh, no celery by the way. Stop for a local beer and to get out of the weather, otherwise keep walking.

This place is HUUUUUUUUUGE! And even better it is just across the street from my Hotel, which can be dangerous. The bartender went above and beyond to fine my preferred whisky. What else can you say about an established Irish pub this size with great service.

    The dump from the outside

What a dump, as I am Irish I know what an Irish pub should be. Serving Guinness and sticking some flags up doesn't make it an Irish Bar! The menu was nothing like the online version, one burger and that's your choice! I got given the drinks menu which the one beer I wanted they didn't have, ok not my day. "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong." Using his law, not the right beer, the x2 extremely raw under cooked burgers, the no cutlery to start with, ask for ketchup which he gives us is empty, when finally asked just before we leave 50% of this joke of a meal the barman asks was that ok he couldn't give a damn of our complaint he just wanted paying. Of the dozens of Irish Bars in the States and Canada I have visited this is without doubt the worst, so at least there good st something. Avoid like the plague which is probably what I will have by the morning.

This is a nice bar with a smaller menu and beer list. Service was friendly and prompt. Prices are average. My friend and I were staying in the area for a concert and this place was recommended to us for food. It was walking distance from the hotel and concert venue which was great, so we figured we'd give it a try. We ordered and split buffalo cauliflower which was delicious. Since we couldn't agree on a sauce, the waitress brought us ranch, BBQ and honey mustard. All were great options but the BBQ was my favorite. My friend ordered a turkey club sandwich and I got the blt, both with a side of tater tots. The portion was big and filling, my only complaint was that the blt was served dry (which I didn't realize) and I had to call the waitress back for mayo. Who wants a dry blt?! It threw me off a little but wasn't a huge deal. Over all, our meal with appetizer and a few beers was decent and under $50. I'm giving 3 stars because it although it is pub food, it would be nice to have a bigger range of healthier and non greasy options other than just a couple salads. It was a convenient spot to grab a bite, but nothing to rave about.

It's great as far as sports bars go. There are TVs on pretty much every side of the bar and you can request a channel from the bartenders which will happily put something on for you. A negative is they do play music while watching games, so it's sometimes a little hard not to get distracted from the game you were watching. I suppose that's good for everyone that doesn't want to be watching sports, but I would prefer to listen to the commentary. Another feature that's awesome during the summer- the massive windows. It's makes the inside bar feel like you're still enjoying the patio outdoors. Their food is not the greatest. Think typical bar food but just a little bit worse. It seems everything they send out is a tiny bit soggy- their nachos, their fries, their wings. It's okay once you've had a few drinks, but you probably wouldn't think it's that great sober. I had their Craic fries- that I actually enjoyed with the ranch dipping sauce, but it definitely wouldn't be my first choice of lunch/dinner.

I love the feel of this community bar and have always enjoyed my beers and the kind bartenders at this spot. I know there was some drama and potentially a change in ownership before the pandemic started? Not sure what the food or kitchen situation is at this point after that change happened. I am pretty sure the last time I was there, there was no food menu, but I could be dead wrong. They have a huge variety of taps to enjoy and my partner really likes to go for a Guinness. They have an outdoor patio/deck area that is very well utilized during the summer times. From reading other reviews, it seems that there is a private back room as well. I've never seen it, but would be a great option as they have a large parking lot right in the area and the bive is very community-oriented. I am looking forward to my next trip to Johnny's some day in the not so distant, vaccinated future!

Best gem! Clean, great food, fun times, best owner. A place where everyone knows your nameread more

My parents brought me here as a kid when it was known as Timothy Patrick's. Now it's TP's. I…read morehonestly haven't been here in probably 15 years...and the food is just ass good as I remember it. First off I'm going to say there's definitely an issue where they're signage. There's a huge sign out by the road saying they're open seven days a week but if you pull into the parking lot on a Sunday day or Monday, you're gonna realize that is a lie. The hours are correct online, but we didn't look there because we drove by it on a night. It was open and saw the sign so we figured we would go there and we try to go on a Sunday night. There are two signs on the door, one saying that it's open seven days a week and then another one that says closed on Sundays and Mondays. I think they should get that straightened out. If you have mobility issues, you'll definitely wanna park around the back so you can go up a ramp or it's a flatter surface rather than steps if you park in the front . There's a really cute little outdoor patio to eat with heaters obviously, this time of year it's not quite the right weather for that. The inside hasn't changed there's still the county flags on the walls in the ceiling , there's still the big wooden privacy booth with a little Shamrock on the table underneath. There is a fireplace that's lit when it's appropriate and there's wooden tables in the middle of the dining room. It's not a huge restaurant. There's a really large menu that I feel like it can appeal to everybody's tastes. Honestly this place has the best potato skins I've ever had anywhere and they're just like I remember them from when I was younger. They come with a healthy side of sour cream. They didn't have some specials with candied bacon and so I wanted to try it and I asked if I could get a side. I got two sides of very slimy, grizzly limp, bacon. That was my only complaint. I think that candy bacon should be crispy and if the chef wants me to give him some pointers on how to make candy bacon I'll be happy to share my recipe with him. I also had a tomato basil soup for an appetizer because it sounded so delicious and it was really good. It had a nice texture and it was a sweet tomato basil soup . It was very thick almost like a marinara. Delicious! My dad had the turkey temporary grill. I believe it was. It was a turkey sandwich that came with a side of onion as you and he picked out homemade fries to go with it. Honestly, I was having a little bit of FOMO from not ordering it. It looked really good. I asked about desserts. They only had one dessert and this was on Thursday night. . It was a lemon mascarpone cake and it was really delicious. I don't know why I haven't gone here in so long so when I'm back in town again, this will be on my list !
