Good drinks and service. No good but we could easily door dash. The bartender was pretty attentive and his doggo was adorable!

If this were my hometown bar I'd love it. It reminds me of Fairport Village Inn (without the great food). It's a great place to watch sports, but it can get loud as it gets packed. read more

The ever popular questions on a Sunday - where do you want to go for a good Bloody Mary? Where do you want to go for a good Mimosa? I now have my answer! The only reason I'm not rating a 5/5 is because I didn't have a chance to order any food so I can't comment on that but I LOVED my "Tavern Fizz" - a mimosa with a splash of orange vodka and my boyfriend loved his ultimate Bloody Mary with shrimp, jerky, chicken wings, cheese and more! I also really liked the ambience of the bar. It's very open and there are lots of windows (perfect for a sunny Sunday!). The bar staff were friendly and I really enjoyed myself. Love this cozy new pub at the corner of Titus and Cooper in the heart of Irondequoit. The owners John and Bucky did a wonderful job finishing it out with hunter green walls and dark wood, a beautiful fireplace, and a gorgeous wood bar that is perfect height and depth for bellying up for beer and conversation with your better half or your wing man. They have a limited menu of sandwiches provided by the Cooper DelI next door. I did not try the food, but Cooper DelI has long been know for its sandwiches, and I have eaten there and enjoyed the food on several occasions. But this is a great place to watch a game or just catch up with an old friend. The walls are lined with Irondequoit memorabilia from days gone by, a lacrosse stick hangs proudly over the fireplace. Young girlfriends sipping wine, a table of older women, and several other mixed groups were enjoying the atmosphere here on a cold Thursday night in March. They have a nice mix of local and well known drafts available including Dogfish Head, Ithaca Cascazilla (a personal favorite) and Guinness to name just a few, and reasonably priced at $4.50 pint. They also have a respectable wine selection, and I noticed that the red wine was served in nice oversize wine glasses which many will appreciate. Music is not too loud and allows for easy conversation. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained...it's a great little spot that was sorely needed in Irondequoit, a nicer, more upscale alternative to the grittier neighbor Murph's across the street. Titus Tavern has the charm and warmth that were sorely lacking in the cavernous and short lived Copper Grill around the corner. Parking is a bit challenging with just a small lot for about 20 cars, but it is not a large place so not too much of a challenge. I will hold off one star til I've tried some of the food, but this place is most definitely worth a visit, especially if you're in the Irondequoit area. And it is an easy walk for many Irondequoit residents. The owner John can usually be found on premises and is always happy to strike up a conversation. Check it out sometime. read more

First let me say Titus Tavern is a bar not a gourmet restaurant. They don't pretend to be. It's a gathering place. Six or so TV's to placate the sport fans. The staff is friendly. Many customers are familiar with each other. The ambience is styled after Irondequoit sports. We just go there on Sundays for for their Signature Bloody Mary's. You don't need lunch. (see photo). Honestly we never sampled the Pub food. All I can say is the Deli is a busy place during the week. read more

Went there to check it out on a Friday afternoon. Wanted a fish fry but no food there, you have to go next door to Cooper Deli but it was not recommended. In the middle of my second drink a lady next to me started talking about getting me home or she would worry. What? Well apparently she kept up her tyrade because the next thing I knew the owner was at the jukebox with me asking if I was ok. When I got back to my seat at the bar he put ice water in front of me. I couldn't even hear my selection of Leann Rimes on the jukebox so I decided to leave. As I rounded the parking lot to my car there was the owner standing there, I asked why he is following me and he said because he was worried for his customers! What the hell was that all about??? This is a new bar that has opened in what is the closest approximation of a downtown area for sprawling Irondequoit, right on the corner of Cooper and Titus. The parking can be a bit of a hassle, as there is a tiny side lot that is shared with a local deli, but plenty of parking is available across the street on Cooper in the bank lot (which I am told is fine for parking after hours). My date and I went on a Wednesday night and the place was packed. The interior is finished nicely, with a large bar dominating one side of the room and low and high tables throughout. Like all modern neighborhood bars, the blaring music makes conversation less than a shout difficult. We saw a wide range of customers, from older couples to young professionals and everyone in between. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive, though my date and I didn't stay for more than one drink. Food is available to order in from the next door deli. I am ashamed to say that nothing in particular stood out about my experience, other than the loud music. This is a new establishment, so I'll probably give them at least one more try. As many of the locals told me, "It's a good alternative to Murph's." read more

If u want food sometimes u have to stop next door at the cooper deli or most days/hours u can order from the menu that comes from the same place. Surprisingly loud for an early Tuesday, and the bar only being half full. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Around 7:00 a live acoustic set came on and the place got so loud you couldn't hear the person next to you talk. Cover tunes and what not were belted by a good voice. Plenty of t.v.'s for sportish viewing. read more

Went to this bar to see a friend's band play. Ordered one drink (had not a drink in over a week). I have had uncontrollable tics and ADD/ADHD for a very long time. The bartender refused to serve me a second drink in the 3 hours I was there, claiming I seemed drunk. This is the first time in 31 years that I felt I needed a note from my doctor to prove my symptoms were from a medical condition. If I do decide to go listen to a band there I certainly won't feel bad about not spending any money there! read more

My husband and I stopped in on a Thursday night for dinner and a drink. The room was packed, with a mix of ages. The food menu is fairly limited, but it was all prepared at Cooper Deli next door, which is always good. We ordered wraps and sandwiches, and they were very tasty and quick. The parking lot is tiny, so you'll probably need to park at the bank across the street. As the other reviewer said, it's definitely noisy in there, so it's hard to carry on much of a conversation. On the other hand, it's nice to see a place attracting a crowd after just a short time in busy, and better to be a little noisy than silent from a lack of customers. Great place..stopped in Fathers Day for the first time. Easy parking right next to the tavern. Great front deck if you want to sit outside and the tavern is warn and cozy. Decent selection of meals and finger foods either at the bar or table. The staff were great, friendly and fast with service on a busy day. Exactly what I-town needed! A small, simple and personal bar. Great selection and decent pricing. The front deck is perfect for muggy nights and its smack dab in the middle of residential irondeqouit. I knew of John (the owner) way before he built this bar and he's a genuine guy. He always complained of the lack of neighborhood bars; so he went and opened his own. Love the drinks, love the location and love the look! Definitely worth a drink or two :-) read more

Great place! Awesome large wine glasses, a wonderful selection of craft beers on tap, and a great partnership with local eateries Fitzy's Cooper Deli and Bay & Goodman Pizza to create a menu with numerous offerings. Some other cool things of note: Irondequoit sports memorabilia donning the walls, a brand new patio (prime people watching on the corner of Cooper and Titus!), and fantastic local acoustic music with some of Rochester's best solo, duo and trio performers every Sunday and Tuesday. Highly don't recommend this restaurant, not a good experience at all! Where to start, first off we ordered all of our food and the waitress decided to use her memory rather than a pen and pad which proved to be a mistake. When we finally got our food 27 minutes later she had forgotten one of our meals, she had to ask us what she missed and go reorder it. That took 12 minutes to get that meal by that time most of us were already done eating. During our whole sit down there I rarely saw our waitress and when I did I would ask her for a refill and she would forget about it. When we were done eating she never came over and brought the check to the table I had to go over to the bar area and flag her down. When I got the check I was overcharged, it really was not a problem getting it fixed but it was another annoyance! So after all of this how was the food? Well honestly not good at all, none of the food is actually prepared at the tavern. The meats come from the deli next door and I believe the pizza comes from Two Ton Tony's down the street. read more

More than not I end up at the bar to order.. Not cool. If they can change the waitress situation ASAP more stars. read more
