    Clam Strip Dinner 15.95
    Barry L.

I was in the mood for clam strips and read many positive reviews for Murphy's - My first time visiting Murphy's Dine in or to go. I ordered the clam strips plate $15.95 was good not greasy and the fries were good not soggy The menu offers something for everyone to enjoy I would recommend that you give them a visit

I get their fried clam (w/ bellies) roll often and they are always sweet, tender & fresh @ $21.99 They have counter service. Their lime Ricky's are good and they have ice cream too.

    Amazing

I've heard good things about them, finally got a chance to stop in today. Very limited menu, got to be in the mood for fried food! Checked out the specials on the wall, after I had already decided, next time! Got the fish sandwich on special bread, with lettuce, tomato, spring for a coleslaw and a raspberry lime Ricky! Everything was fantastic, looked and tasted amazing. The people there are so so nice. Will return for ice cream and maybe scallops!

    Kids bacon cheeseburger meal

First time eating here and the food and service were outstanding. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent - seafood was high quality and the burger was too. The prices were beyond reasonable. It's a fun space to have a meal - it feels like an old school diner when diners actually cared about the food and service. Can't wait to go back

Limited fries in kids meal. There literally like 10 fries. Do better Murphys.

The burger patty itself seemed like cheap meat... i don't know how to describe it, but cheap meat tastes like it's mixed with pork (even if that's probably not the case) it's just how I can describe the taste. I threw away 3/4 of the $12 burger. If I can't eat something, you know it's bad. On the plus side, the shake was good. But I had a little moo version which is a small and a fraction of the size of a shake at 5 guys for the same price. There's not a single thing that would bring me back here. I honestly wanted to love it. I walked in thinking I could get an awesome smash type burger but overall I would never go back. I'll stick with the other burger options. I hate to say that I would pick McDonald's over Mooyah.. after this experience. Five Guys blows this experience away. Also, the inside was so loud with screaming kids that I couldn't hear the cashier. Not the restaurants fault but also not an ideal dining experience. But maybe the food here caters to kids so it doesn't need to be great.

They were all.. good, but I've had better of all three elsewhere. It was huge and priced accordingly! We had an unrelated issue too- my friend ordered a classic brownie sundae and even pointed at the picture of it on the wall- a big brownie with toppings. What he got instead was a cup with ice cream and pre-cut brownie bits in it, nowhere near as fresh and inviting. He pointed this out to them and instead of apologizing or asking if he wanted something else they just told him they don't make it like the picture. Disappointing product and service. In August of 2022, we even stayed at the Inn for a few nights and had a nice time. However... We just got back from staying a few nights at the Inn and I wish I could rate our experience better. I know change is inevitable. I realize that restaurant staffing is also an issue for many restaurants. Costs have increased. That being said, here is our experience in the following categories: Room: Be forewarned those who have not stayed in one of the older rooms which would be #9 and #10. As #10 was available, we decided to give it a try. (Previously, we stayed in the other section of the Inn and really had no complaints other than we asked that the AC be turned up a bit.) First, there are very, very steep steps to get to the room. If you have any issues climbing, I would advise not to book these rooms. The nice front desk person asked if we need help with our bags which we did not. But you may. If your knees are not good, book another room. The room itself dates from the late 18th century and you get late 18th century. There are only three outlets in the room and they are only on one side of the room. If you wish to recharge your phones and/or have a medical device like a CPAP, bring power strips or book another room. There is no usable drawer space to place clothing and the closet only had a few hangers. The bathroom has no shelves to put any of your toiletries and only one hook to hang wet towels. Speaking of towels, they are the small version of a bath towel. No body wrapping is going to happen. The tile in the bathroom was missing a tile (note to Inn, I found it in one of the small drawers in the little jewelry chest on top of the bureau). And one of the lightbulbs was out in one of the wall sconces (or perhaps it just does not work?) The fire escape, for those who worry about those things, is trying to figure out how to open the window and fit your body through a very small space onto the roof below. Is it worth $250 per night? If you only care about the ambience, than I guess that it would be a "yes". (We paid only $230 because the Inn does not serve any food, including b-fast, on Mondays and Tuesdays). For that amount of money, having missing tiles as well as lights that do not work is really not acceptable. Management: Put some more hangers in the closet and get some hooks and shelves in the bathroom! And a few larger towels would be nice. And I know you are selling the 18th century vibe, but it is 2026 - put in some more outlets!! Was it totally a bust? No. The grounds are lovely. It was quiet. Well, relatively. Also note that these rooms are above main dining areas, so until the Inn closes you will have noise. Unfortunately, we had to listen to a party of what I would assume were folks staying a night, talk very loud until 9:00p.m. Luckily, they stopped at nine. The bed was comfortable and the two sitting chairs were also very comfortable. Food: Alas, the food at the Inn was never four star but our meal was a disappointment. It seems that the menu has gotten smaller and the prices larger! And the quality of the food does not match the prices. My husband and I spent $63 and got a Coow Woow, Diet Coke, 2 cups of clam chowder (very small and salty), and the vegetarian egg roll and chicken satay appetizers. With a tip, we were pushing close to $100 for what was basically food that seem to have come out of a package and was reheated. The clam chowder, which was always rich and creamy is now a light salty mess and, as I said, for $8.95 a cup (I was expecting a bowl), it was more like a small tea cup from the 18th century. The bread basket, which was always promptly served before the meal, came with the meal, so we ended taking it back to our room. The server was very nice and attentive but, in general, it took a while for her to come take our order. Whereas before, the service was impeccable. The cheese and crackers that were always free now cost $4.95. If you are going to charge these prices, please do better. It seems that the Inn has made a business decision to focus more on events (which probably bring in the bulk of the income?) as well as having new endeavors like the seasonal beer garden. (We arrived on Sunday and got the tail end of a good amateur high school group. In case you are wondering, the beers were $9). Thus, the rooms and the food are taking a back burner to the events. I get it - it is business not personal. But for a few days away which cost us around $600-700, chump change for some but not for us, the value we received was not worth it. And we will probably not be back anytime soon.

I knew our kids would absolutely love it, so we decided to stop by on Friday. When we arrived, we found out that tickets were required, and unfortunately, they were sold out online. One of the wonderful ladies at the ice cream truck suggested that we speak with the owner to see if there happened to be a cancellation, especially since we had traveled all the way from New Jersey. We spoke with the owner, and he kindly told us that if someone canceled, he would let us take their spot. Honestly, I didn't have much hope because there were seven of us! We decided to stick around and get some ice cream while we waited and I'm so glad we did! Their ice cream was AMAZING. The Cookie Monster was honestly one of the best I've ever had. While we were there, the kids got to see a cow with her baby, ducks, goats, and several other animals. They played, explored, and were genuinely having such a great time. Eventually, the owner's wife came over and let us know that unfortunately, there hadn't been any cancellations. But then something happened that truly touched our hearts. She knew from her husband that we had come all the way from New Jersey and wouldn't be able to come back another time, so she allowed our kids to feed some of the cows anyway without doing the ride, but from the gate. That small gesture meant SO much to us. She took the time to tell us about the cows and the other animals, answer our questions, and make our kids feel so welcome. It's not every day that you come across a business that goes out of its way to be this kind and accommodating, and it genuinely warmed my heart. We had such a fun experience, and the kids are still talking about it! If you're ever in the area, PLEASE go check them out. And definitely try the ice cream, even if you can't get tickets to the farm experience. It's absolutely worth the stop! Thank you for making our unexpected detour such a special memory.

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience…read more I had read about the cow safari and thought it would be a great birthday gift for a close friend who loves cows. Before booking, I called to ask some questions and specifically mentioned that I have a service animal. The woman I spoke with assured me it wasn't an issue but suggested I call closer to the date as a reminder so they could accommodate us. This was in June, and I booked the tour for September 20th. We looked forward to it for months. Last week, I called again, as instructed, and was once more assured it wouldn't be a problem. This person also suggested I call on the day of the tour because it was fully booked and they wanted to ensure we had enough space. I said I appreciated the courtesy and would follow up. On the day of our tour, I called the number on my ticket confirmation three times. No one answered. On my third attempt, at 12:21 p.m., I left a detailed voicemail explaining that I was following up as instructed, identifying our tour, party size, and my phone number. I never received a response. We arrived at 2:45 p.m. for our 3:30 p.m. tour. At check-in, two staff members politely advised me come ten minutes early so we could board the wagon first. Everything was great, and we went to get ice cream. Then, while we were waiting in line, a man approached us and informed me that my service animal was not permitted. I initially thought there had been a misunderstanding, and explained that I had specifically asked about my service animal before purchasing tickets, had followed up the previous week, and had been repeatedly assured it wasn't an issue. His response? I should have followed up closer to the date. I reminded him that I had attempted to do exactly that earlier that afternoon, but no one had answered my calls or returned my voicemail. He had the gall to ask whether I had emailed them as well, as though it were my responsibility to compensate for their failure to answer the phone or respond to messages. My friend, who has experience in conflict resolution, tried to explain that my frustration stemmed from having spoken with four staff members on three separate occasions, without a single person indicating that the service animal would be an issue until ten minutes before boarding. The man claimed this was a "new" policy because dogs and cows had reacted to one another in the past. Fair enough, but that doesn't excuse the fact that I had gone above and beyond to communicate and had been given assurances every step of the way, all the way up to check in. He then contradicted himself, claiming the policy had been in place for some time. When my friend pointed out that this suggested a significant training failure, he insisted staff were aware and said he would "remind" them. I accompanied him, against his wishes, and witnessed the so-called reminder, which appeared to be a first notice, not a reinforcement of an established policy. He put his staff in an uncomfortable position and took no responsibility for how the situation had been handled. At no point did he offer a refund, alternative accommodation, or even a sincere apology. The result? Three hours of driving roundtrip, half a tank of gas, wasted time and money, and the embarrassment of having this happen in front of my friend, for whom this trip was supposed to be a birthday gift. I realize this complaint may not resonate with everyone, since most people won't find themselves in this position, and I am not allowed enough characters to go into all the detail of what took place. However, I've seen other complaints on other platforms also referencing this man's arrogant and combative behavior, and based on my own experience, I would not want to patron a business where customers are treated this way. There are plenty of other farms to visit and wagon rides to take, that are much more deserving of the business. We may not have gone on safari, but we definitely got to see a snake.
