It took a few schedule misses before a team could come out to try again. The team that came out today was exceptional. Paul P was the crew leader with Steven M, Robert S, and Laywandre J. Paul agreed to try and lift the chimney this time to correct the problem. He was able to lift the chimney by three inches. I think that this team did a much better job than the one from a year ago. They also cleaned up the yard where they dug so you can't even tell they were here. Great job this time!

Rick was able to come to our home and work with my wife on assessing our needs and provided us a quote very quickly on what would need to be performed and how much it would cost. For our situation we only had water coming in very specific areas in the basement so he suggested we should target that half of the home instead of needing to pay for the entire home to be waterproofed as it would not be necessary unless we had water problems everywhere. The other 4 companies tried to use scare tactics and high pressure sales in order to push us into digging up the entire home, installing air filters for no reason, and other questionable "fixes." Rick provided the quote, a reasonable timeline in which the work would be performed, an outline of what work was being done and they even talked with our neighbors to explain they would be working on our house and requested access to their driveway in order to reach one side of the house. Precision put down wooden planks in order to not damage or dirty up the neighbors driveway as they like to keep it very clean on a regular basis. The work was performed during the day while the wife and I were at work and Rick and his crew took pictures and documented what issues we had that caused the water intrusion into our home, as well as showed us how they resolved them. Replaced the footers, patched any cracks in the walls, backfilled the areas that were dug out. He even helped us by removing an old cement sidewalk at no extra cost since it was in the way of the project. Working with Rick was overall very enjoyable and reasonable, he was easy to reach and communicate with,calls, texts, emails, guarantees and warranties the work performed, and was priced very fairly for actual waterproofing (not water management system) We recommend this company to anyone in the Ohio / Cleveland area with any water issues.

Work was good . Was a lot of playing around. Workers got complacent. Did not check the working…read morecapabilities of the sump pumps in the crocks they put in. I got up the morning after and was water in my basement again. Spent 13000.00 they finished and I have water in my basement again . I called complain. Get a call 3 hours after they open and say we will come out and fix it. I said you should have done your job when you were here. You don't have a check list ? I said I fixed your screw up already wasn't waiting for more water in my basement. They added drain pipes into the crocks and reinstalled my sump pumps without checking to see it everything worked. The drain pipes they added held my floats down and not letting the pumps to turn on . Was not happy .

We had some concerns about cracks in the basement walls and called on OSW for a warranty…read moreinspection. Ron was great and flagged 5 specific areas his team would come out to repair. Service was scheduled a few months later and they came out on Oct. 21st to do the work. I was surprised there wasn't an excavator, but the four man crew dug out the ground with hand shovels. Didn't matter much, they installed their barriers, topped with their tar compound and filled the holes back up. They showed me what was going on and explained the what/why as they went and left me very pleased. It's been less than a month, but haven't had an issue yet. So far, happy to report I don't expect that to change much either. We would absolutely recommend them to our neighbors, friends and family.

After several delays, the work started in May. The crew who was subcontracted to do the work laughed when we told them we thought the work would be done by hand. Their machinery ruined more than half of both our front and back yards, incuding our side yard and our neighbors' side yard. Every bush and plant was destroyed except for two bushes and a peony, which were moved to temporary locations in the yard. After consulting with several landscapers, we found out that the average price of regrading and reseeding our lawn would be at least $11,000, not including new plants to replace the ones we lost. Ohio State Waterproofing offered to give us $2500. Very disappointing that the company does not follow through on its promises and does not take responsibility for their actions.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars to B-Dry System for the service they provided. During the…read moreheavy rains I had some basement flooding despite my sump pump which stopped running. To try to prevent any further flooding, I contacted one of the well-known basement waterproofing companies in the area; they said they could not get anyone out for about 1 1/2 months and that was just to give an estimate. I then contacted B-Dry and after they got some basic information the nice woman asked if my system was from them; I said that I did not know since it was installed prior to my purchase of the house. She went and checked their records and informed me that it was installed by B-Dry in 1980 and therefore was still under warranty. At this point she scheduled me for service a couple of days later and asked if I wanted a copy of the documents. On the following Monday service technician arrived on time; he was knowledgeable and helpful. After a quick inspection he determined that the issue was that the plug for the sump pump was loose due to the adapter, so I taped it to the drainpipe and the pump has been working without issue since them. The whole service call was efficient and ended up being no charge. They also provided me with a complete copy of the documents and warranty for the system. I respect how B-Dry handled this issue; they went above and beyond for a system they installed 53 years ago. They did not take advantage of the fact that I didn't know they had installed the system. B-Dry would be my choice if I needed a basement waterproofing system and I would recommend you use them if you have any flooding issues.
