Horrible company. Would give negative stars if possible…read more Due to space limitations we can't give full details or list all the problems, lies, or unprofessional business practices encountered but we'll give the highlights. Contracted with Hinckley Roofing to do tear off and roof replacement on small house. Subcontracted crew only tarped front of house and left other sides exposed. Majority of shingles and debris were thrown off sides and back, not front. Left excessive black marks on vinyl siding and large scratches/gouges on aluminum window trim where shingles hit. Only the front looked mostly okay because of tarp. Siding in very good condition prior to damage they caused. Showed us picture of front with tarp and lied about the rest being tarped until we shared video from security cameras showing shingles raining down against the siding. Their solution was to scrub each streak and power wash the siding, destroying the surface so there were glaring shiny and dull patches alternating across sides and back of house. This was unacceptable to us. Met with them again and were told if we gave it 6 months we wouldn't be able to tell; it would even out. Gave it 6 months and it looks worse. Roof cost just over $9,200. Bids from siding companies were all higher than that amount but Hinckley would only offer half the cost in credit for damages. Said anything more would be unfair to them. When we didn't accept their offer, we were told they'd put lien on house and we could work it out with their insurance company then. Deadline for filing valid lien had passed after so much time but they would file anyway. The only way we could get lien removed then would be to hire attorney and file a lawsuit to have lien invalidated. We opted to take their low offer and be done with them.

I contacted Premier in July of 2023, Chris Watson was our sales representative and installer. He…read morewas very nice, friendly we were able to negotiate a fair price and he did a really nice job. The warranty is life of the home, 100% covered at no additional cost. A little less than 2 years later I started seeing new cracks forming, some in new places and some where the carbon fiber was installed. I only noticed because I was having additional work done to the home so I was taking the time to look over things. I had the foundation inspected by 3 other companies who all said the carbon fiber strips were installed incorrectly. I did a national search for carbon fiber installation and Premier was the only one I could find that installed them by gluing them into place instead of bolting the top to the sill plate and the bottom to the footer. I called Premier and Chris answered the phone and came out the next day to look at the issues. Our interaction was good! We chatted about the house, he noticed our improvements, we complemented each other's beards, all was good! I showed him the trouble areas and he said that the new areas are out of their range of work because no strips were put on those walls and that wouldn't be covered. I kind of felt like that was a loop-hole out of a warranty but fine. I asked about the installation and he assured me that it is indeed correct and another local company does it the same way. I said OK and we moved on. He did offer a solution of installing an anchor at no charge and would periodically stop by to tighten it. I said we would think about it and give him a call. Here is where the review drops. About 20 minutes after Chris left, his boss and owner Ed calls yelling at me. Absolutely bitching that I had the nerve to complain. That I was questioning their work and every other company but his was "scum". He was incredibly rude, constantly interrupted and talked over me. Then said he was going to fire Chris because it's now his fault. I strongly voiced my opinion against those actions, I would not want anyone to loose their job, especially without warrant. After arguing with him he decided he would come out and inspect. He'll be here in 2 days. I'll update this post when he does. Right now I would stay away from this company, the owner clearly has issues if he is going to yell at customers with concerns. UPDATE: Ed came out and immediately put the blame on the way the house was built. Bragged about how he's been a Mason for many years, he is an absolute professional and my house was built wrong. (The house was built in 1958). I showed him the cracks and his response was "that's normal, that's not significant enough", I said it's been less than 2 years that this was installed and he said "soil moves so the walls will continue to shift". Which means your carbon fiber is installed incorrectly, unto he went off on another tangent. His solution was to cut out several blocks in the wall install rebar and repour the wall with a wall anchor in place. My wife was upstairs and started recording when she heard things getting loud and heated between us. I'll post the video if that's an option. He said he's never had a single complaint, that I'm his 1st customer to have any concerns. That's obviously not true. Not trying to add anymore fuel to the fire, but his eyes were bloodshot and he stated several times he had "cotton mouth". I suspect Marijuana, and while it is indeed legal here and maybe he uses it for his obvious anger issues, that is completely unprofessional. I'm not against the plant, but to show up at a paying customers house like that is not acceptable. He's lost my business and hopefully people read this before he steals your money too.

Despite the seriousness of that wall's condition, one or two other companies recommended wall anchor systems, which Brandon recognized would be insufficient to hold back a concrete block wall as deteriorated as ours. He also noted the insulation put around the base of our house by the previous company was meant for indoor use. We did make attempts to contact the company that did the original work, but it was murder trying to get them to respond. They finally did, but by that point we'd decided to go with Hart, even though the other company would've been less expensive. We just didn't trust that first company anymore. I'm glad we chose Hart because they did an excellent job. Brandon was very professional, letting us know what was involved each step of the way. They worked hard and fast and we finally have a great solid basement wall. I'd recommend Hart in an instant to anyone who needs waterproofing and foundation repair.

We had multiple companies out to quote the repair (big name companies that you see advertising everywhere). They all wanted to put band-aids on the problem, Hart Masonry was the only company that wanted to get to the heart of the issue and fix the entire basement so the foundation would be good for life. Most of the digging was done entirely by hand and the repair took 3 days less than originally expected which was a nice surprise. They were polite, efficient, willing to work around our schedule, and cleaned up after the work was completed. I would not hesitate to recommend Hart Masonry and Waterproofing to anyone that has basement structural or water issues.
