I want to write a review for Paul as a buyer, and I strongly recommend hiring Paul as your inspector because of his profession and his honesty. Your real estate agent may not recommend Paul because the agent wants a deal to earn the commission fee. Paul tells you the facts about the house. You can make a wise decision on the deal. read more

Excellent experience with Paul. Easy setup with the appointment, very informative, walked me through each item as he was inspecting the property; Final report included summary sections that made it simple to reference when it came time to negotiate and set up repairs - highly recommend. read more

Inspections Unlimited is definitely the way to go for your home inspection. Paul and Chet were very thorough and extremely personable. They walked me through everything in great detail during the inspection and encouraged questions which I really appreciated because I always have millions. The report was in my email about an hour after they left the property. Awesome team. Paul stays up to date by attending inspector events so he's not riding on old knowledge. I'll be passing Paul's info on to anyone and everyone for inspections! read more

Paul did our inspection today. He was thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. He offered useful recommendations for issues he found in our home. Would definitely call again for future inspections. read more

Paul was beyond amazing! I was blown away with how professional and thorough he is. He walked us through every single step of the process and explained in detail the situation and the urgency of the matters. This inspection was worth every penny. I will recommend Paul to all of my friends and family purchasing homes in the future. The inspection comes with photos and a binder to keep your home in tip top shape. I am so impressed with this service. 10/10. read more

This idiot Paul has the manners of a goat and is Just as rude. He and his half brained assistant come into your house and use your tools and ladder without asking and then don't anything back. They told the seller that he doesn't like the fuse boxes and that the furnace was too old. Even though all the other inspectors said it's all fine. He honestly seems like a rude ass. He was completely unprofessional. He never said if the radon test was positive or negative. A rude asshole overall. read more

I had a fantastic experience with Paul. He looked at 2 homes for me. As a first time buyer, I received a lot of value from his willingness to answer questions and educate me on my potential new home. Paul is extremely thorough and provides a detailed inspection report the same day. It has pictures of everything we talked about and looked at together which made it much easier to address contractors about potential repair costs. It also have me an opportunity to share the info with the seller to negotiate a better price to cover some repairs. I would recommend Paul in a heartbeat! If your looking for an inspector in the area, seriously, look no further! You will not be disappointed. Paul is the man! read more

Paul is awesome! He was very responsive throughout the entire process. He pays great attention to detail and is incredibly thorough in his inspection. I am a first time home buyer so he even spent plenty of time educating me. Received the report same-day. 10/10 would recommend! read more

It is a great experience working with Paul as the first time home buyer. He is very responsive. We called and scheduled a home inspection in 2 days. His report is detailed oriented. He is a certified Radon Tester. He went to the house to set up Radon detector 48hrs ahead of time. He took many pictures with great resolutions that marked all the defects and concerns of the building with annotations. He contacted my realtor and seller directly for meeting up and scheduling. There is very minimal communication work I have to engage. I will highly recommend Paul to anyone. The report was 30s page long, made available on the same day of inspection!!! read more

Paul was available on short notice. We had great communication via email, even though I'm from abroad and he had to arrange the inspection with a third party (the current tenants). After the inspection was done, Paul emailed me a very detailed report in a matter of hours which included a lot of pictures and made me feel like I was at the property with him during the inspection. Paul mentioned any malfunctions he found, but knew to separate the wheat from the chaff. He was able to provide his professional advise regarding the cause of the problems. Paul was happy to answer any further questions or requests I had and helped me come to a conclusion regarding buying this house. Highly recommended! read more

This was the first house we purchased. When looking up reviews for different inspectors, Paul stood out. His reviews all mention he is very professional and incredibly thorough. We found this to be very true. He was INCREDIBLY thorough. Exactly what you want when you are making the largest purchase of your lifetime. Paul was at the property for several hours inspecting every nook and cranny. He outlined several issues, large and small, and also advised what he thought would be reasonable for the seller to fix. We had a full printed report with color photos in a three hole binder with all issues found within 24 hours. I highly recommend Paul and will use him in the future. read more

Paul was very flexible on short notice and was willing to work with our schedule. He got there an hour early and covered the whole outside so he would be ready to explain it to us when we got there! He spent a good two and a half hours walking us through the house and assigning everything to one of seven easily understood categories. He also gave us a home maintenance checklist that's perfect for us as first-time home buyers. Thorough, high standards, and gives a great picture of what needs to be fixed immediately and what can wait for later down the road! Highly recommended. read more

Paul is polite and funny in demeanor, and unbelievably thorough and organized in his inspections. We had a home we liked quite a bit, and while he didn't completely pooh-pooh it, he gave us a 45 page document with photographic evidence of what was in great shape, and what was in less good shape. It affected our decision, and we moved on to a different home. I've used him twice and he has been very easy to work with both times. I will recommend him to any potential home buyer in the area. read more

The ratings and reviews on here are all accurate and well earned. I enjoyed working with Paul and can recommend him to be trustworthy and knowledgeable. He was thoughtful and proactive in his trade, taking upon himself to visit the house a few days early to do the exterior inspection because there was snow forecast for our scheduled inspection date. This allowed him to inspect the exterior which would have otherwise been covered in snow. Easy to work with and pleasant, I have no trouble recommending him to others. read more

We have purchased over 25 homes in different parts of the US and engaged home inspections for most of those properties. We do our research and generally end up with a solid understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of the houses before buying as a result of those inspections. I'm taking the time to write this recommendation because Paul is by far our favorite home inspector we've experienced. He is extremely detail oriented, but has a process where he moves through the property in an appropriate amount of time. He is personable and takes the time to educate you on how the home works, the range of issues from safety to major repair concerns and does it in a way where you can't help but be in awe of how much information he can process in the time at the property (and then translate that into a 50+ page report the same day). Paul is very experienced, unbiased, honest and working for you as the homebuyer. read more

Paul was amazingly thorough on his home inspection. I highly recommend.

Paul Wancata was very thorough, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He also taught us several things along the way. We have already recommended him to others and will continue to do so. Highly recommend! read more

Hands down spectacular. I'm not an expert on home inspections but can tell when a person really loves his job and wants to treat you like he wants to be treated--the best he can. He is very knowledgeable looking through each nook and cranny and educating as he is going. He jumps quickly around the house looking for any defects not to worry you but to really make sure you know what you are buying into. After this we were able to renegotiate the price of the house for several thousand dollars less since it was fair that some major repairs would eventually need to be made and was not a factor in the initial negotiation. He also followed up on the phone on things a week later since he had suggested a more thorough inspection of the basement by a structural engineer; His followup on what the engineer found shows he was looking for the feedback and knowledge to even be better skilled at what he does-- truly a mark of a great professional. Thanks Paul. read more
