Inspection Tech and Dan Malcolm were recommended to me through my realtor. I give them a glowing…read morerecommendation. First, Dan was on time and friendly. He explained exactly what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. Second, he created a report on his tablet and showed me pictures associated with any issues as well as recommendations on how to fix any issues. Finally, he sent the report to me within a few hours of my leaving. When I set up my appointment, I spoke with the office staff and advised that I thought I needed a separate pest inspection due to the fact that I was taking out an FHA loan. They went ahead and charged me the for the basic inspection plus a $100 pest inspection based on what I said my needs were. After finishing his inspection, Dan advised that a general pest inspection is part of his work anyway, and he would have his office refund the extra $100 since there was no sign of any pest issues. He could have easily kept that extra money, and I would have been none the wiser. I think it shows the content of character of Dan and the company that he was willing to offer that refund.

You will come away very confident in what you are about to purchase or know why your choice of home may not be optimal. This company is dishonest, biased , and incomplete when it comes to home inspections. They came…read moreout to inspect our home and stated that the bathroom exhaust fan contributed to mold in the attic. We had our handyman go up into the attic to check and treat the"mold" and our handyman said there was positively no mold. He even took a video of the attic to show us. Our handyman didn't ask for payment since he wasn't able to treat anything. Another item that Brady & Henderson stated was a defective and dangerous item was the electrical mast where the wires come into the house. This company stated that it was too close to an openable window. We were puzzled as to why the City of University Heights didn't catch this on their point of sale inspection so we asked a licensed electrician to come out and inspect. The electrician inspected and measured and stated that the electrical wires coming into the house were done correctly to code, and there was more than the 3 foot clearance requirement. Again Brady & Henderson was incorrect! Brady & Henderson did a visual inspection of the roof and recommended that the roof be replaced. Replaced? The roof was only 10-12 years old!!! We paid a professional roofing company to actually go up on the roof to inspect. We were told that the roof still had another 10 years. This has got to be the worst home inspection company!

We are so grateful to Reckner for not cutting corners and giving us a thorough report! Top level service and he walked me through every step of the home I was buying. It was like a classroom as he instructed and pointed out things to look for.
