My initial experience with Ed was great but I'm starting to worry about the promises made. I thought the scheduling issues over the holidays in December 2024 were just holiday based. But now I'm just being ignored. I paid in full for the work done $6500 with a promise that once I paid it off, I would get the structural engineer report that would state the wall bowing was fixed. I'm wanting to sell the house and still don't have this report 4 months after paying in full. My calls and texts get ignored. Promises aren't being fulfilled. I'm afraid to email him because his website was hacked last year and someone tried to extort money from me as well. read more

I contacted Premier in July of 2023, Chris Watson was our sales representative and installer. He was very nice, friendly we were able to negotiate a fair price and he did a really nice job. The warranty is life of the home, 100% covered at no additional cost. A little less than 2 years later I started seeing new cracks forming, some in new places and some where the carbon fiber was installed. I only noticed because I was having additional work done to the home so I was taking the time to look over things. I had the foundation inspected by 3 other companies who all said the carbon fiber strips were installed incorrectly. I did a national search for carbon fiber installation and Premier was the only one I could find that installed them by gluing them into place instead of bolting the top to the sill plate and the bottom to the footer. I called Premier and Chris answered the phone and came out the next day to look at the issues. Our interaction was good! We chatted about the house, he noticed our improvements, we complemented each other's beards, all was good! I showed him the trouble areas and he said that the new areas are out of their range of work because no strips were put on those walls and that wouldn't be covered. I kind of felt like that was a loop-hole out of a warranty but fine. I asked about the installation and he assured me that it is indeed correct and another local company does it the same way. I said OK and we moved on. He did offer a solution of installing an anchor at no charge and would periodically stop by to tighten it. I said we would think about it and give him a call. Here is where the review drops. About 20 minutes after Chris left, his boss and owner Ed calls yelling at me. Absolutely bitching that I had the nerve to complain. That I was questioning their work and every other company but his was "scum". He was incredibly rude, constantly interrupted and talked over me. Then said he was going to fire Chris because it's now his fault. I strongly voiced my opinion against those actions, I would not want anyone to loose their job, especially without warrant. After arguing with him he decided he would come out and inspect. He'll be here in 2 days. I'll update this post when he does. Right now I would stay away from this company, the owner clearly has issues if he is going to yell at customers with concerns. UPDATE: Ed came out and immediately put the blame on the way the house was built. Bragged about how he's been a Mason for many years, he is an absolute professional and my house was built wrong. (The house was built in 1958). I showed him the cracks and his response was "that's normal, that's not significant enough", I said it's been less than 2 years that this was installed and he said "soil moves so the walls will continue to shift". Which means your carbon fiber is installed incorrectly, unto he went off on another tangent. His solution was to cut out several blocks in the wall install rebar and repour the wall with a wall anchor in place. My wife was upstairs and started recording when she heard things getting loud and heated between us. I'll post the video if that's an option. He said he's never had a single complaint, that I'm his 1st customer to have any concerns. That's obviously not true. Not trying to add anymore fuel to the fire, but his eyes were bloodshot and he stated several times he had "cotton mouth". I suspect Marijuana, and while it is indeed legal here and maybe he uses it for his obvious anger issues, that is completely unprofessional. I'm not against the plant, but to show up at a paying customers house like that is not acceptable. He's lost my business and hopefully people read this before he steals your money too. read more

Premier Wall Anchor & Waterproofing - Their warranty. - Waterproofing Near Me - Stow, Ohio

We had our basement walls reinforced with carbon fiber strips, as recommended. Our walls have continued to bow in. We have had 3 other companies look at the work and all 3 have said they were installed wrong. We reached out to the gentleman that installed the strips and within days, he came to take a look. He said what was going with the walls was not from incorrectly installed strips and wasn't able to offer much additional help or recommendations regarding the warranty. We accepted that, he was great, we talked for a bit and he left on good terms. About 20 minutes later, the owner of the company (Ed) called yelling that he could not believe we had concerns about their work. He threatened to fire the guy that installed the strips. My husband was able to talk him down and tried to get off the phone, but the owner insisted that he come look at it himself. So, today, Ed came to look at the basement - as soon as he walked in the door, he was loud and angry and wouldn't let us talk - just kept interrupting and talking louder and louder. He couldn't believe we were questioning his work and said we were the first ever. We finally got him out of the house, as his anger and yelling just kept getting worse, we just wanted him gone. Since Ed became involved, this whole experience has been a nightmare and their warranty means nothing. If Ed had not become involved, this review would not even exist. Ed talked up his company at the fair and I left my contact information and he gave me his card. I waited a week and never heard back. I ended up calling twice now and left a message an he never bothered to call me back. That's great if you guys do the job for so much cheaper but doesn't help me if you never call me back. read more

These guys did a great job at my mom's place. They came out and gave us a very competitive quote on a leaky basement. Other companies were double their price so at first I was skeptical. But they came out, did what they said they would and now her basement is in great shape. They seem honest and act with integrity - that's something that isn't always easy to find these days! read more

Ed and his crew are exceptionally skilled and simply incredible people. Ed gave an honest assessment of the work needed to waterproof my basement, install a sump pump, and support a collapsing wall. He did not subject me to an overpriced, fear-based quote like some of his competitors. Premier's work crew were prompt, clean, and did fantastic work that gave me a dry basement and peace of mind. I rarely post my reviews on companies but felt strongly that I should here. I've had an extremely positive relationship with Premier Wall Anchor & Waterproofing. They have come out on numerous occasions over the past decade to address various issues with water in our basement - hand-digging two corners of our house to apply exterior waterproofing, filling block and applying carbon fiber strips to reinforce our front wall, and installing an interior waterproofing system at different times. I always feel like Ed, the company owner, understands and is more than willing to try to work with us to resolve our problems and the prices are always more than fair. Whenever we've had any issues, recently requiring days worth of hand-digging, they have gone above and beyond to try to correct them and the work has always been covered under the warranty with no additional costs. Never knowing what you might get with a company when they provide a warranty, its great to know I can finally have some peace of mind. Chris and Hunter who have been coming out recently have been especially wonderful to work with and do an excellent job of communicating all of the issues they've seen and fixing them on the spot.
