Upon entering you are greeted with a warm smile, and food came in big family size portions recommended for sharing. It was perfect for my friends and I who were super hungry and wanted to try a few items. We started with the lamb samsa ( not pictured as I was too hungry) which was perfectly baked with a juicy spicy lamb that was super tender inside. We then also had this beef noodle dish which was the best dish of the night. Can't recall the them of it but, I'd definitely come back just for that dish. We also got the lamb shank Plov which was another favorite, and lastly the dumplings, which were our least favorite. The dumpling dough was a but too thick for our liking. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, especially with our server who was so kind and friendly, and so were her family. I'd definitely come back here again to try some of their other dishes next time.

Braised oxtails with potatoes and carrots on top of a bed of noodles. It was definitely a comfort food dish. It was like a hearty oxtail stew with a little kick on top of noodle which had soaked up the sauce. The only drawback was I wishes the oxtail was more tender. We also ordered the samosas (delicious lamb filling combined with a crispy flaky pastry) and gosh naan (it's like a flat pie, crispy pastry outside and a juicy lamb filling on the inside). Service was very friendly and helpful. Staff answered all our questions and made suggestions for the order. Parking is a shared lot which can be very busy on weekends. I am coming back.

The culinary experience was so over the top, I don't even know where to begin. IT.WAS.THAT.GREAT. It all started upon entering this smaller restaurant that has a peaceful ambiance, as we were cheerfully greeted by Jeanne, who knew we were arriving as our friend had called ahead. Snce we arrived a little early, and our friend was en route, we decided to try the scallion pancakes, with the Chengdu spicy dumplings and sesame bread which was enthusiastically recommended by Jeanne. The appetizers arrived and we all enjoyed them. The dumplings arrived in a spicy broth-like elixir that complemented the soft pillowy pockets of seasoned pork. The scallion pancakes were mediocre at best, but the sesame bread was amazing!! It had the perfect texture and savory flavor that was enjoyed by all. For our entrees, we ordered two dishes of the Stir Fried Shrimp with Yibin Chili and asparagus (extremely delicious), a spicy Clay Pot Fish, Beef and Napa Cabbage with spicy chili sauce (incredible spicy flavor!), Hot and Spicy Chicken (chunks of deep fried chicken, yum!!), Combination Fried Rice, and an order of the sauteed snow pea leaves. Everything arrived fresh and freshly prepared. Every entree we chose was exceptional! Our iced teas and ice waters were always refilled, and boy were we stuffed! I highly reccomend this restaurant if you're are looking for a more authentic Chinese dining expereince! Make sure to ask for Jeanne!

But there was a miscommunication and they gave me braised beef noodle soup.. but hold up .. this isn't Taiwanese braised beef noodle soup. She asked me, "do you want normal or a lil spicy?" In the back of my mind, normal = not spicy so I said normal lol ..., I was wrong. Normal here = medium mala spicy. Anyhow after I inquired about it .. she just said try it , it's good and she could scoop up the chili oil from the bowl. I said nah don't bother. The beef chunks were tender and very good. Noodles were chewy (the right amount of chewy) and my kiddo happened to like the mala soup .. so yeah she ended up inhaling all of it. Although I still didn't get my lamb noodles soup ... boooohooo Egg Chinese crepes 5/5 Tasted ok but Portion size !! Best bang for the buck Roujiamo 4/5 Stuffed with lots of pork.. although hmmm no veggie / green to be seen .. they should have put some cilantro in it , as I'm a cilantro person. It was pure protein on carbs. Braised chicken over rice 4/5 This dish is super duper Chinese. Chinese level 1000, this is what my grandmother and my ancestors would cook and eat. Chunks of boned chicken swimming in brown looking sauce / soup with shiitake mushrooms, some ginger, salt , maybe some soy sauce .. definitely reminded me of my ancestors. This was salty though

Crab noodles: VERY generous amount of crab meat. Super creamy, seafood forward flavor. If you like shellfish, this is for you. The sauce is addicting and the noodle texture is so addicting. Love the crispy fried scallions on top. A must order. Beef noodles soup: Also very solid choice. The broth is clean and the beef is tender. Lots of veggies on top which I like. Skewers: they're all pretty solid and have similar cumin seasonings. I think the beef/lamb was my favorite. Very "futuristic" vibe inside. Good amount of parking.

We dropped by on a weekend during lunch and browsed the menus of all the food stalls located inside and came across LJ Kitchen. After looking at the pictured menus and viewing the menu we decided to purchase some pan seared steamed pork and scallion buns along with a char su biscuit. Ordering was simple by placing an order on the kisok provided and typing in your phone number and name. The kiosk had pictures along with the food item and price. We found a table and sat down and within 10 minutes our food was ready. We started snapping pictures instantly before we dug in admiring this beautiful creation. The char su biscuit was hot and flaky releasing steam into the air. The char su was tender and flavorful with hints of 5 spice seasoning of cinnamon, star anise, cloves, fennel, and peppercorns bursting into your mouth when sinking your teeth into it. the pan seared buns were the star of the show with the top side being seared and the bottom part steamed filled with moist pork and scallion meatball inside. The dipping sauce was a soy base with vinegar and paired perfectly with the dish. Altogether we enjoyed coming here eating the delicious food and are excited for our next visit!
