Next visit my friend and I decided to try their wings since they claim they have the best wings in the area They were as small as my thumbnail and cooked to almost burnt black. I ordered my wings plain and it came doused in hot sauce which I'm not a fan of. When I brought it to the waitresses attention she said well that's all the wings we have because we sell out fast. Fine no problem. I paid my bill, got a to-go box and gave it to the homeless gentleman on the corner of Dequindre. Hopefully he enjoyed them more than I did. Also want point out that depending on what night you go the clientele greatly varies. On the night with the wings it was a pretty rough crowd inside and when we were leaving someone sideswiped my friend's car. To his credit he did stop and apologized but said he had no insurance and took off. There wasn't any major damage and my friend was able to buff out most of the scratches. There's too many other places in the Warren/Madison Heights area for bar food that I probably won't be returning to Bugsy's .

The building itself seems to have been updated recently. There's tons of seating indoors, and it seems like they do a lot of takeout business. The staff is friendly, and the menu is pretty expansive. You'll find your usual standard fare for hot chicken, with a splash of Indian (Desi) and Korean thrown in as well! You can tell the menu is catered to the current hot chicken craze among Millennials/ Gen Z (see also: "tendies"). The service can be a bit slow right after they open. We arrived right at 11 and found that tbey were still heating up oil, etc-- it took 20-30 minutes for our orders to arrive, making it a tight fit for the lunch break. The real tough pill to swallow for me is the spice level experienced. I ordered the tenders in "cluckin hot" and I can assure you that they were cluckin not. I expect a lot more heat in the second hottest spice tier, so this was a disappointment. That said... I'm willing to give it another shot! CHC, I'll be back -- let's see what the cluck is all about!

I've been back a few times since, and the chicken is consistently fresh and flavorful. I usually go for the medium sauce, which has just the right amount of heat. The tenders are thick, juicy, and perfectly cooked. This time, I decided to try the chicken breasts as well, and they were huge! The quality definitely matches the price, which is reasonable for what you get. They also serve sweet pickles with the chicken, which I really enjoy--don't forget to ask for extra! The fries are solid, but the mac & cheese wasn't my favorite. I would recommend you try it out!

I was familiar with Wingstop from Texas when I lived there so was super excited when I found out that it was going to be available in Michigan. Love their wings. I don't like wings that are flooded in sauce and prefer dry rub wings so this place is definitely the place to go to. My favorite is garlic parmesan and lemon pepper is a close second. This location is easily the best of the handful in Michigan. The wait is short and every time I phone in an order, they let me know that it will be ready in 14 minutes. All of the staff is very nice/friendly, the location is clean, and the bathrooms are also well maintained. The location in Southfield was pretty gross with rude/careless staff, so I would go out of my way to avoid that location and to go to Warren because they always treat me right. Not only is the food good here, but they are well deserving of your business. Shout out to Steve and staff! Tried a few locations out here in California but you guys are still the best location I've ever been to.

They are located next to a gas station which comes in handy if you also need gas. I order the number 1 and my son ordered the pizza burger. Both were very filling and delicious. The original burger was cooked perfectly and the bun was pretty good. The onions and pickles were so good and I don't usually like pickles. I didn't try the signature sauce as I'm not a fan of thousand island. But many people will enjoy it the way it's suppose to be made I'm sure. The pizza burger was pretty cool. It had 3 nice sized mozzarella sticks on them and pizza sauce. We wanted fries and they only come in one size. The one size is big enough to share. We were suggested the lemon pepper fries and that was such a great suggestion. They are fresh cut fries and you can tell. I was happy they had regular fries and not the battered crispy ones a lot of place do. So they definitely will get 5 stars for the fries alone. It has some seating inside, but most people seem to get carry out. The men at the counter were so nice in helping us. They really suggested things we would like and we did. I will be glad to give them my business again.
