Always a haven of rest ! I am a bit a tea snob as the owners are and I bring my own Charleston tea! They are so lovely, they provide the tea service! I just love there their pancakes and fried chicken!

Best brunch in Charlottesville! The chicken sandwich was one of the best I've had. I love fluffy pancakes and they were amazing. The staff was friendly. We ate outside, but the inside was cute too. I can't wait to come back to try more! One thing I'm still confused about is the digital food hall aspect, but not too concerned about that when the food is to die for.

This place is fantastic!! I have driven by many times and finally went inside and loved the concept and food. There are many different options so a great place to go to if you are with a group who isn't quite sure what they want. I ordered from the Firebox menu and appreciated that a lot of their sauce / dressing is yogurt based (much healthier alternative and arguably better!) the wrap was HUGE, and I ate all of it. It was very fresh and wasn't greasy so it didn't leave you feeling like you were in a food coma. To cap it off the staff was very friendly and accommodating and made sure you were taken care of. Plenty of seating indoors or outdoors and easy free parking! 10/10 recommend and will be adding this into my lunch rotation.

CBR Clucker + x lettuce, Dukes Mayo (no Ranch)

I was visiting a friend in Charlottesville and found this spot on Yelp. The CBR Clucker with Dukes Mayo subbed for Ranch was DA BOMB! So good we went back the next day. Bonus points for having Coke products.

    Amazing Biscuit sandwich!

Visited in August and had probably one of the most incredible Biscuit sandwiches I have ever had. It truly did not disappoint. Picked it up as takeout, but the staff was friendly and helpful when I ordered. Definitely a hole in the wall kind of a place, and I highly recommend if you're a Biscuit person.

Mother clucker chicken sandwiches so crispy and delicious!!

Excellent, extra crispy chicken sandwiches!!! Stopped by here while waiting for my car to be worked on at the International Imports auto shop down the street. Aside from a wide variety of signature chicken sandwiches, they also offer more traditional sandwiches, wraps, salads, wings, breakfast, brunch, lots of craft beers, yummy thick, fresh-out-of-the oven, made-to-order cookies, and specials. The chicken sandwich was gobbled up quickly. Definitely worth getting! I also tried the toffee chocolate chip cookie and the peanut butter cookie, and they are delicious! They also sell t-shirts! The place was extremely clean, has two very clean unisex bathrooms and also offers outdoor seating. The staff is attentive and super friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Wow - that's all I can say after having their Hangover Cure breakfast biscuit which is with fried chicken, fried egg, maple syrup, hot sauces and bacon. It's all in the best biscuit in Charlottesville, yes I said it. The biscuit is everything, y'all. Great flavor, fluffy and moist on the inside, crumbly and crisp outside. I've had this sandwich three days in a row! Also make sure to get their cookies. They're to die for. Great size, soft gooey middle. Amazing.

I love the concept of different menus to order from. The lady at the counter was incredibly nice and helpful. The chicken sandwich and parmesan fries were both hot, and delicious!

Got the hangover cure biscuit and it was so good! Be ready for it to fall apart and be messy while you are eating it because it so huge. I was shocked when I first took a bite from how good it was, highly recommend. However, the price was a little too high for me to keep coming back for it regularly.

So excited to see this restaurant and concept. I knew that if it was anything compared to Chef Keevil's other ventures, it would be a smash. After scouring the menu, I finally decided on the Griddled Scallops. It is not something I would traditionally make at home, so I was going to let Chef Keevil make it for me. Coming into the restaurant, I noticed they were not serving any of Firebox's entrees. That included the scallops. With so many options it took a while to choose. I settled on the Lamb Burger which was amazing. The presentation was beautiful and the taste matched the look. It was plenty juicy with a ton of flavor packed in. Instead of a side, I ordered one of the insanely large cookies which melted in your mouth. I will return, and hopefully can get those scallops I have been craving. I love the concept of the restaurant and excited to try plenty of other items. Brookville's menu looks outstanding!

Wait time from store to store is usually pretty short, but waiting for actual food can be 2 minutes to 15 depending on who you go to. For example, a son got pizza slices immediately while my trip to order and get Tom Kha soup took 18. The flavor is hit or miss depending on restaurant and what you order. I got a chicken salad from the chicken place and it was great. My daughter got fettuccini alfredo and declared it rich, but bland. All that said, you can't miss with the ice cream location. So, regardless of what you ordered as the main dish, you can leave with a smile and a waffle cone in hand.

Most malls are dying. This one doesn't seem to be with the usual anchors and in between stores and…read morevery few cell phone repair shops. I only noticed one or two storefronts "in transition" and that's unusual these days. Charlottesville Fashion Square is the town shopping mall. Shaped like a large plus sign with the anchors at the main four points. JC Penney, Belk (times two) and Sears. The mall is on one level and is surrounded by parking. Most of the entrances will be through one of those anchor stores and there are three others that are not. There is also a spot in the back for local bus service. Other than being very well populated, the mall is in good condition with good lighting, smooth floors and lots of spots in the middle to sit and wait for your wife to buy her stuff.

As far as malls go, Fashion Square is pretty fair. It seems better already (as far as available…read moreshops) than when I originally moved to Cville three years ago. There are still a few vacant storefronts which always feels a bit sad, but at least one or two of them have signs that something is coming soon. There is a decent selection of restaurants, though I've never eaten at any of them. I do usually prefer an actual food court, to keep the food and eating folks separate from the clothing shops, maybe just because that's what I'm used to, but it feels weird to have all the tables with people eating right outside other kinds of shops. I think Fashion Square just isn't big enough to have a full designated food court area. Otherwise the main mall areas, bathrooms and stores all seem clean and well-kept. I have only visited the mall maybe 3 or 4 times, and usually for one or two specific shops, but it's always a kinda fun blast from the past to wander around a mall for a bit of time.
