The machine screws that affix the third brake light to the fixture are less than $5 and for how long my car was in the shop for a small repair like this, and for HOW MUCH I paid (over $500) they couldn't order these simple machine screws to complete the job properly. Instead of they left the light dangling. More importantly the fixture can just be snapped into place without screws, at the very least they could have done that but they decided to half-ass the job. I had to go to Home Depot myself and get the screws to affix it. There is a hardware store down the street from this place and they couldn't order the screws? Ridiculous Not to mention getting in touch with them to get an update is near impossible. I called after 3 business days bc I didn't get an update and it was just static on their end of the line. I have taken (2) vehicles to Next Generation, my work van and my Tahoe. Both times I took them from…read morea local Chevy dealership because the dealership was trying to rip me off. The first time I had my brakes checked in my work van because the brakes made a grinding noise and the van didn't slow down like it usually did. The dealership told me that the all the brake pads were completely worn away, the rotors needed to be replaced, and I had frozen calipers. All in all they were going to charge me over $900 for the repairs. I took the van to Next Generation to get a second opinion and they told me the only thing needed to be replaced was one set of rotors and all the brake pads for all 4 tires. I asked about the frozen caliper and they said that all 4 were fine. Saved me hundreds of dollars. Several months later I noticed that I had a screw in my Tahoe's tire. I headed to that dealership again for them to repair the tire and then also give me an oil change. An hour after I dropped it off I got a call saying that they couldn't repair the tire because of the location of the screw. Then he added that it wouldn't matter anyway, because my tire tread was "dangerously" low and I needed to replace all 4 tires. I couldn't afford to replace the tires but I also wanted a second opinion on the tire repair. I picked up my Tahoe and checked the tread myself at the dealership. Wasn't even close to 2/32". One of the shop guys came out that I had talked to when I dropped it off. I asked him about it and he stuck his fingers in the tread and said "feels like it's less than 2/32" to me." I did the penny test, it passed. I used a quarter, it passed. My tires had more than 4/32" of tread remaining. WELL OVER THAT. The dealership was trying to rip me off for another $900. Needless to say, I took it to Next Generation and they plugged my tire for a whole $16. No issues with the location. Didn't try to swindle me out of $900 on new tires that I didn't need. Bottom line is this, everyone is out to make a buck, most are doing it dishonestly by taking advantage of customers. I couldn't imagine how many folks that dealership has ripped off by lying to them about services and repairs that they don't need just to make a buck. Next Generation is the ONLY placed I have taken a vehicle for repairs and had an honest person look me in the eye and know that they were taking care of me. Beth and her husband have integrity and honesty and put the needs of the customer ahead of a few bucks. The guy at a dealership with slicked back hairs has values that aren't even in the same galaxy. I will never take one of my vehicles to anywhere other than Next Generation again.

Went in for MD state inspection with 2023 Subaru since i was moved back from another state. I corrected all items and raised the car back up to factory height (which anybody that has performed this knows how time consuming this can be). When I returned for the re-inspection they failed it again this time stating I cannot have any aftermarket suspension components on the car per COMAR which is completely incorrect. Article 11.14.2. Look it up. I took time off work for both appointments only to waste my time here. Should have been a red flag when they charged me $40 to put blocks of wood on their ramp lift because it was "too low" even though it was only 1" lower than stock. Mechanic just jumped in with no protective cover for the seat too. Complete waste dont bother with these guys, especially if your car is modified in any way. They couldnt even be up front about why it "failed" the first time with a vague answer and barely any detail. AVOID these guys, just go anywhere else

Then another 2 week went by and he said I had to put another chain in my car. I was like okay, whatever, when will the car be ready? He was like; "My mechanic thinks he left a bolt inside the timing cover". needless to say: He tried to bump me $650.00. I drove away and 2 days later I have a P0420 code, which is the code to replace my catalytic converter, which was not there before. I called him and he say bring it in; remember you had that evap code too. I didn't take it back, for his safety, because after inspection; I found that the forward mount bolts were loose enough to just turn off with a ratchet and socket. I bought a new catalytic converter for $500 and will install it myself. Amir will not last because he will cheat the right person to make him famous one day People need to be decent in their dealings with others. I traveled into Florida to await the arrival of the ship. Once the ship arrived, Amir sent a tow truck to the docks to pick up the vehicle and within 3days a used transmission was installed and the vehicle was ready. I flew in from Florida picked up the vehicle and drove it to Florida and have had no issues at all. Amir was kind, considerate, knowledgeable, extremely helpful and courteous. I only wish his shop was here in Florida for any future issues I may have. A 5 star rating for Haris Auto and Transmission.

Just reached 10K miles on 1 July 24 and they performed the 10K service. Even checked the right rear convertible top pivoting cover and came up with a fix. Everything about the car was in great condition and they topped of fluids as needed, replaced engine oil and filter, set tire pressures, reset service indicator and TPMS. All this took time, but it was well worth the wait. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend Autowerkes service if you own a German or Euro car, you won't be disappointed!

I contacted the shop and spoke to owner Sergio, he told me he knew nothing about it. Found out that they bought the car with a blown motor and replaced it with a junkyard motor. I have proof of this with pics and video. I called the owner Sergio back and all he said was it was a good car and is there no issues with it. I feel I paid too much for the car being it's not original and not happy with the owner lying about it.

Spoke to Brian (owner) and Rich (mechanic) and they ensured me (with 30 mins of talking) that they use the latest technology that VW dealers use to diagnose and fix vehicles and I decided that they would be the shop for me to fix my car. The next day, on the way to Mt Washington Autohaus, my truck broke down in middle of street and i had to have it towed there to the shop. Waited 2 hrs for tow truck and got it there. Rich the mechanic and I helped get the truck off tow truck along with the tow truck driver and into their very small vehicle bay. Signed paperwork and left vehicle with Rich. About 1/2 hr later, owner, Brian, called my phone yelling and screaming at me to get my truck out of his shop because it doesn't run and they aren't able to fix it because it won't move. He threatened to get my truck out of his shop Right NOW or he would get it towed away somewhere. I was then informed that the software they use to diagnose cars does not go past the year 2016. This is after Brian told me he uses a $10K OBD2 scanner and he could fix anything. I ended up wasting my free tow from my insurance company and having to quickly call another tow truck to remove my vehicle from Mt Washington Autohaus, which costed me almost $200 after i was told to bring the truck there. I would not recommend that ANYONE go to this auto shop due to the very rude nature of the 70+ year old Men that run it and make nothing but excuses and are unapologetic in the way they handle business with customers. They also have a terrible insect infestation in the front desk area of the shop but dont seem to mind it along with a waiting room/ front desk area that looks like it has not been upgraded since the 1970s. I would not recommend for anyone to use this shop and look for other alternatives. Brian and Rich's deception of my trust in them to repair my vehicle has cost me a lot of extra money and time and they do not seem to care and offered no other solutions to me after they misinformed me about their abilities to repair vehicles. I have never been thru anything like this in my life and hope no one else puts themselves in a position to do so either. 0 of 5 STARS!!!

Just as I arrived in town from out of state, my BMW overheated - something that had never happened…read morehappened to me before. Since I was not from the area, I was not sure where to take my car to have it diagnosed and fixed. I was very concerned that I might be overcharged or that my car would not be fixed properly. Thankfully, Autohaus was recommended to me and I am very grateful that I followed through with that recommendation. Not only did they take in my car the next day, but it was fixed and returned to me in two days. I priced the work with other shops in the area and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that what Autohaus charged me was very reasonable in comparison. The guys at the shop took the time to explain to me what was wrong and how they planned to fix it. I really appreciated how I was treated. The shop is not fancy, but the guys know their stuff. They specialize in European and Asian cars. My car was fixed and I was able to make the six-hour drive home without any problems. I have not had any issues since the repair. Note that they do not take credit cards - only debit cards or cash. I highly recommend them.

There are a whole bunch of other truck and trailer shops that can do work cheaper and with far less…read moreshenanigans. I've used this repair shop a couple of times in the past and, while not cheap, their prices were okay. (Okay enough to not really propel me to find another place.) Boy, did I get unbelievably hosed this last (and I do mean last in every sense of the word) time. I brought my trailer in to have a broken breakaway controller replaced and asked them to look at the brakes. Apparently, the shoes were shot and required replacement parts from the trailer manufacturer. Long story short, Hammer charged me 3.5 hours to replace two electric brakes and some very minor work such as replacing the breakaway controller. I was told by the owner's son, Brad Hammer, that the total amount for the work was going to be $550 including parts. Folks, replacing the brakes is a simple bolt-on procedure that, according to the book time of other trailer shops that I checked, shouldn't take longer than a half hour per side, max. Since the trailer was at the shop, I decided to go ahead and have them do the work. I was not happy about the price and called Brad back to go over each line item. I even told him that I thought that the price was high. To add insult to injury, when I arrived to pick up the trailer and pay the bill, Hammer tried to charge me an extra $85 (one hour of labor) to put the old brake parts back on to move the trailer out of the service bay since my parts were going to take a week to arrive from the manufacturer (which they were well aware of at the beginning). Never once was I told that I would be charged an additional $85 for the time it took to bolt on the hubs. When I asked Ken Hammer why I wasn't told that I would be charged the extra hour, here are the excuses that I was given: 1) they had to make a living in this tough economic climate , 2) they didn't have time to call me and 3) they didn't think another $85 was that big of a deal to them for them to call me. *Unbelievable*. Um, it's my money and, unless I've specifically told you that it's okay to not worry about an extra $85, you should call me before making that assumption. Never once was an apology extended, I guess because they didn't think that they did anything wrong by not fully disclosing to me what the actual charge to me would be. When I asked owner Ken Hammer to waive this charge, he said he would not. It was only when I mentioned that all of my friends would leave negative feedback for him that he changed his mind. When I went back to the shop to get my refund, he was so unprofessional and so rude that I decided that I felt it was appropriate to warn other potential customers of Hammer's business practices. Times, indeed, must be tough for a shop to rip their customers off this badly. Never again will I go back. There are lots of other shops out there who will not rip you off. Please do yourself a favor and use them and not Hammer.
