I've been coming here for around 8 years. Today I decided I should support some local business and enjoy some pizza for myself. COVID19 is flowing through the area and most businesses are doing curbside pickup. I called mulberry, asked if they'd do a curbside pickup. They said sure. I told them I wanted 3 slices. They told me for 3 slices, I should just come in and not do curbside. I guess I'm such a small customer they thought it's too much for them. I've ordered from this place in the past But never had an issue with the.food like I did this time...The stuffed shells tasted sour like the ricotta had turned..which means it wasn't even close to fresh... The chicken cutlet pram tray had some kind of milky white ooze coming from under the breading which resembled nothing I've ever seen before in a chicken cutlet, except in an undercooked egg white. 40$ for this DISGUSTING display of Italian cusine. If you order from them you should do pick up...advertised as a 30-45 min delivery window but ended up waiting 90 mins for the delivery. Also, we live 6 minutes from the place so it makes no sense for it to take this long. Pizza and pasta was cold and tasted horrible. Called twice to confirm delivery and ask for status. We were told the delivery was on its way and it shouldn't be long till we got our food. Wrong. It was another 30 minute wait ... We've ordered from here before and we've always waited a bit but never this long... disappointed that our food was cold. read more

Omg, the best grandpa pie I have had and I have lived all over NYC! It's all about the sauce, it has to have the right tang/sweetness and this one does not disappoint, their regular pies are a step above as well (though I have had better... such as Brothers in Queens) Definitely order in the Grandma pie here. The owner is such a nice guy as well, once I forgot my wallet and I drive two towns over for my pies here. He let me go with my order and said I can pay next time. Of course I called as soon as I got home and paid over the phone with my credit card, but still, this is what good customer service and building customer loyalty is all about. The delivery guy for this place attacked me while I was walking with my kids. He used racist profanity in front of my three young kids because he thought I looked at him the wrong way. He got out of his car and continued to make threats and yell. I brought this up to the owner and basically it was his son who was the driver, his excuse was that he is all crazy in the head because of covid-19. Dangerous place to go. read more

I love my pizza. The grandma slice was awesome. The sauce wasn't overly sweet like most places make them. The crust was njce and crispy. We also tried the spinach slice which tasted great. The pinwheel was pretty good and so was the chicken roll. To top.it off the staff was so pleasant. read more

Should you find yourself in Hicksville out on Long Island, run, don't walk, to this little nondescript gem. It's tucked away in the corner of a strip mall, across the road from a diner that no doubt attracts more traffic, but is dishing out some of the best Italian food I have ever tasted. Ever! That sounds very dramatic, so to tone it down some, how about I say at worst, it was in my top 3 of all time. Of my entire life! And I've been around a while and been to Italy 4 times, so let the gravity of that sink in. I had garlic and olive oil pasta, my friends had shrimp fra diavolo, and fettuccine alfredo. I tasted theirs too and they were all exceptional. My co-workers happened upon it a while back, which is how I eventually ended up there, and they revealed to me that they actually schedule meetings in this area several times a year just so they can go eat at Mulberry St. Pizza. This is my family's go to place. Tho they have had problems with an order more than once the owner always makes sure it is done correctly. Recently when we went for my moms birthday and the order was messed up he insisted on redoing the WHOLE order because he knew he messed up. Then gave my mom a free cannoli. This has become a weekly destination for my husband and me. The entire staff is so friendly and treats you as their own. Mulberry street used to be me and my families to go spot when we where ordering pizza. Slowly it just became my to go spot because they could never get the pie right that my family ordered. The owners where always there when we ordered so i cant help but think that they just didn't care enough to get our pie correct. I used to go in there to grab a slice but every time i was disappointed so i slowly stopped and changed to Fanatico down the block. If your gonna get pizza from here get a pie. Solid pizza, something on the level that you get in the outer boroughs of NYC, tend to find Long Island pizza a bit underwhelming but this place is on the same level. Excellent regular pizza. Also unlike in NYC, lots of parking and easy to get a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the food. read more

Delicious hot cheesy pizza! My cousin and I stopped in for a slice durning my lunch break, and we were super impressed. We walked in and a Sicilian pie was just being taken out of the oven. One of the few Italian places that has scungilli on the menu and that makes a good eggplant parm dish. The place is convenient from the highway, priced decently and has a good menu. They give big portions and have never scimped on the scungilli I love. I have been there three times and have enjoyed the food. I will definitely go back again. read more
