Nice sized restaurant with many options as far as pizza go. Popped in for a cheese slice while my wife shopped next door. Staff very friendly but the slice I had was just average. Nothing stood out to brag or complain about just an average slice in the land of above average pizza.

Spinach artichoke pizza with garlic knot crust
    Meri L.

After wanting to try this place for quite some time...I was a bit disappointed. Months and months of seeing delicious pizzas on social media...didn't live up to the hype. My mom decided to pick up two slices of the spinach artichoke pizza with garlic knot crust. It looked delicious, but that's where it ended. Both slices where very undercooked, I had to put them in my toaster oven at home to cook it more. It was very underwhelming. It was also a bit soggy, but that could be due to the toppings on top. It absolutely needed more time in the oven to cook. My mom also got me tortilini soup, as it's a favorite of mine. Again, very underwhelming. However, the tortilinis were big. It was more so the broth that tasted off. Didn't really live up to the hype.

    Rice Ball

I was in the area again and although I do like their pasta, I came for reason and one reason alone. The effin' rice balls. I challenge someone to find me a better rice ball. I have friends who will take the drive out here just for this. It's perfectly crispy, the right density, just enough meat and cheese in the middle. Get that side of marinara, cut your pieces, dip them and eat. It's just.. sigh - those little wins in life. If you find yourself around here at a wedding in Fox Hollow, going to Ikea in Hicksville or something.. take the detour. It'll be worth it.

Lia's pizzeria is a cute classic spot for my friends and I to eat whenever we come back to our hometown. Amazing pizza and good prices (especially when you found some coupons for the local spots in town in the mail!) This pizza is authentic and offers a ton of flavors - from your classic cheese pizza, pepperoni, spinach, margherita, grandma slice, salad pizza (which I've really enjoyed!)... etc. The garlic knots are always a great choice. Booths and ample seating for a nice casual catch up meal with friends or family!

Ordered pizza from here. Nothing special. Pizza was kind of bland with no seasonings. Will not be back.

I got the chicken picata which came a la carte and a side of pesto cavatelli. The cavatelli was fresh pasta and the portion of pasta was large for a side I think they gave me just a regular pasta meal. I tried the Italian sunrise which I didn't like at all. My husband had the pesto gnocchi and enjoyed his meal. We finished with the cookies and cream mousse which was light. My cappuccino was delicious. My only complaints are my jacket and clothes smelled like fried food because we were sitting close to the kitchen which I didn't like of course. My leftover chicken was not entire meal that was leftover which was disappointing.

On March 29th, we hosted my grandmother's 85th birthday here with about 30 people. This wasn't some last-minute reservation--we planned everything months in advance directly with Sal. From the very beginning, we made it clear that the entire reason we chose this restaurant was for their private room. My grandmother had attended another party there and loved that space--it's private, has its own bathroom, and was perfect since we had a lot of kids attending. Sal explicitly told us there was no minimum or maximum for the room and guaranteed it to us. Based on that promise, we booked the party. As the date got closer, we even upgraded the package--paying extra per person for an additional course. Only then did Sal casually slip in that we would NOT be getting the private room. So if we hadn't called to add that upgrade, we likely wouldn't have found out until the day of the event. When we questioned him, he suddenly claimed there was a "minimum" requirement of people to secure the room--something he NEVER mentioned before. Then he tried to say there was a contract stating we weren't guaranteed the room... except we were never given any contract. No paperwork. No receipt for our deposit. Nothing. Completely unprofessional and shady. A few days later, when my dad followed up, Sal finally admitted the truth: another, larger party booked the room. Fine--we understand businesses prioritize money. But don't LIE and promise something you can't deliver. Don't book us under false pretenses and then backtrack with excuses and made-up policies. We were then told we'd get the corner, semi-private part of the restaurant space with three tables. That didn't happen either. Instead, we were crammed into the front, basically in the middle of the restaurant. It was chaotic, loud, and completely inappropriate for a large family gathering--especially with young kids running around and my 85-year-old grandmother struggling just to get to the bathroom. To make matters worse, when we calmly expressed our disappointment afterward, Sal didn't even have the decency to have a conversation. He literally put his hand up and said, "I'm done with this conversation," and walked away, leaving his waiter to handle it--despite the fact that he was the one who mishandled everything. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic respect was unbelievable. We felt completely taken advantage of and misled from start to finish. This was supposed to be a special milestone celebration, and instead it turned into a stressful and upsetting experience for our entire family. We will absolutely NEVER be coming back, and I strongly advise anyone considering booking an event here to think twice. If they can do this to a party planned months in advance, they can do it to anyone.

We started with fresh baked bread and their signature ricotta-style bruschetta dip, which set the tone right away. The meats and cheeses were high quality and full of flavor. The tortellini in broth was especially comforting and perfect for the colder weather. For entrees, the veal was perfectly crispy and paired well with the mashed potatoes and spinach. The balanzoni stood out for its rich, flavorful sauce, and adding the lasagna was absolutely worth it -- layered, hearty, and extremely satisfying. Dessert was just as strong. The tartufo was rich without being overwhelming, the ice cream was smooth and refreshing, and the biscotti was hands down the best we've ever had. Ending with coffee tied the meal together nicely. Service throughout the evening was attentive, well paced, and knowledgeable about the course menu, which made the experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a classic Italian feel that made it easy to settle in and enjoy a full multi-course meal. Overall, this was a well executed dining experience with thoughtful courses, strong service, and a comfortable atmosphere.
