Their food including pizza is still generally good-to-very good, but yesterday we ordered takeout and I tried a veal dish, the veal and peppers with spaghetti. The veal was tough and the portion was teeny. In today's market, the prices aren't bad, but my wife wanted a little parmigiana cheese for her salad and shrimp scampi and they charged us $1.95 for the little plastic cup. read more

My friends ordered from Frantoni's for his birthday. The delivery person came right on time and was very friendly. They ordered two pizzas (one margherita and one sausage with mushrooms) and a variety of dishes. One was penne with meat sauce, linguine with clam sauce, and chicken francese. The pizzas were pretty good. They are not as crispy as I would like but there was a good amount of cheese and toppings. The chicken francese was a little bland and maybe needed more salt. The penne with meat sauce was a little sweet for my taste. The best was the linguine with clam sauce. There were plenty of clams including fresh clams. I had come here many many years ago when it was Pizza Kings, and have many wonderful memories of its food and decor. Frantoni's was very good as well, though the new decor lost some of the restaurants character The eggplant rollatine with pasta was fresh and delicious, a huge portion of which I took half home. They still have the gelato pints and same restaurant layout. read more

We've ordered from here many, many times. The pizza is typically good and my kids like the way they prepare their chicken fingers. I have also ordered catered food several times but each time it's more and more disappointing. My most recent order included a half tray of mini meatballs and it was clearly a bag of frozen meatballs thrown into some red sauce and heated through (i don't even think they were beef, I think they were turkey). That's not what I paid for, as I could have easily bought a bag of frozen meatballs and a couple of jars of sauce from BJs and had the same results at 1/3 of the price. It also irritates me that if you are part of their "loyalty/points program" you have to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars to finally get a $10 coupon and then it expires within a week of finally getting it. For now I am trying out other local pizza and catering restaurants and in the meantime I hope Frantoni's ups their game. read more

Pizza place is located in ta shopping center off Hempstead turnpike. Very easy to get to. The restaurant upon entering is clean and spacious. There is a tv in the corner. The counter is lined with different toppings of pizzas and other choices. The staff is very nice. They are always ready to greet you and take your order. Came into the store to get a quick bite for lunch. The store is very clean. It was not so crowded on a Thurs lunch time. The lemon chicken pizza. It was very good. I did see some garlic pieces, but I wished they had put a little bit more lemon sauce. I also ordered the rice ball. The rice ball rice was very undercooked. The inside of the ball ball was very crunchy and very bland. I shared the rice ball with my coworkers, and they agreed with me. I definitely get the lemon chicken again. read more

We replaced our caterer for this year office party. We do not have regrets for having them. The review is for their catering service: The delivery is on point. The pricing is reasonable. The variety of their pizza is plenty. Our first time to include in our gathering a salad pizza. It sounds healthy but obviously people prefer the other stuff. Grandma pizza is the favorite. I love their veggie pizza. I even took home a slice to share with my hubby. The side dish of garlic bread and fresh salad are absolutely good. Food: Wide Variety of options! Love the flavor options and the thickness and the generous of amount of toppings they add on each slice. The price is fair. Not an amazing bargain, not too too expensive although I'll say it's borderline. No military discount as well :(, but still really good reliable pizza Service: for the most part service is good. Sometimes it can get really full, and the service drops a little bit, but that's normal and I don't hold it against them Ambiance. Ambiance is good! Heard about Frantoni's from a friend who doesn't even live close by it, so I knew it had to be good. He was right! My wife stopped in today and got us three slices, Eggplant and Ricotta, a spicy Asian Chicken Slice, and Broccoli, Spinach and Chicken. All three were excellent and very tasty. I normally eat one slice, but between being so hungry and the food being so good, I had two. I'll admit, I'm kind of a pizza snob. I don't really love most pizzas I get. And, I always try a plain Neopolitan slice when I try someplace new. This one pretty darn good! Not too hot, crust wasn't burnt at all, and the sauce (which is the key) was tasty without being too sweet or salty (a sure sign of cheap sauce). The gent behind the counter was very friendly and the bathroom was clean...couldn't ask for more! Definitely be back for something more "adventurous " next time but for now, it's a nice place with a nice slice! read more

I live near Frantoni's and have been stopping in for a couple slices at lunch for years, always delish, piping hot and fresh. Especially like their Grandma and spinach pies. Last night I tried Frantoni's non-pizza items for the first time and learned they're really good at that too. I got the Family Meal which consists of a choice of 3 items: salad/veg; pasta; and protein, all for $39.99 to feed 4 peeps. I've had similar "meal deals" at other Italian places around here and they were OK but Frantoni's blew them out of the water! Being a foodie/hedonist I've put on some weight so made some healthy choices. I got mixed green salad; penne with broccoli garlic & oil; and chicken marsala. Everything was scrumptious and neatly packed into covered trays for easy transport. I especially liked the plentiful helpings of broccoli and mushrooms, other places skimp on those items. I have to say, we had such a great meal on Valentine's Day thanks to Frantoni's! We got the take out special which included a vegetable, entree, heart shaped pizza and mini cannolis. Everything was really delicious! We chose the mixed veggies, chicken Marsala and wow! So much garlic and flavor! The portions were very generous and my little one tried a cannoli for the first time and was in heaven! We've tried a lot of pizza on Long Island, and being born and raised in Brooklyn, this was pretty damn good pizza! Very good pizza! I came in today for lunch and had a grandpa slice (bread crumbs and onion) and a Mac and cheese slice. Both delicious and the crust was buttery and tasty. Im a longtime East Meadow resident. Pizza Kings was in that location for many years. Frantonis is charging credit card users a $3.95 fee no one else is charging!!! I regret not leaving the pizzas there and walking out of the place instead of being robbed.This is a real fraud! Do not buy from Frantonis!!! They are charging top dollar for their food and this fraud extra charge is just GREED! Inside were two cheese burgers and a burger. Pretty decent. They seemed to be frozen party's but they were decent enough. I ate the whole thing. Added a lil mayo because that's how I roll. No pickle? No slaw? Ok ok... It's a pizza place ... My dad goes crazy for these burgers but I'm a bit more conservative. I'll be back to try the pizza. No too shabby. I wasn't floored but it did the trick. I have ordered a cold antipasto salad in the past & the lettuce was soggy & the tomato slices were not ripe & tasteless. I know you can't control certain things like how ripe tomatoes are; however you can control what you accept from your produce proveyers & most importantly what you decide to serve as you're slicing & prepping the food. The meats & cheese were as they should be but overall, it was lackluster in flavor & for the price simply not worth it. I decided today that I would try the pizza though because there are many options & they look really good. The pizza was good but not great; it is thin, which I like, but it just didn't impress me like some other pizza joints in NY do.
