I have ordered a cold antipasto salad in the past & the lettuce was soggy & the tomato slices were not ripe & tasteless. I know you can't control certain things like how ripe tomatoes are; however you can control what you accept from your produce proveyers & most importantly what you decide to serve as you're slicing & prepping the food. The meats & cheese were as they should be but overall, it was lackluster in flavor & for the price simply not worth it. I decided today that I would try the pizza though because there are many options & they look really good. The pizza was good but not great; it is thin, which I like, but it just didn't impress me like some other pizza joints in NY do. Where do I begin! My family and I have been coming to Frantonis and/or ordering out for nearly three and a half years now and we still love their food. During quarantine, the family meal deal became a Sunday dinner favorite! We'd always get the Caesar salad, penne with vodka sauce and chicken parm entree. Delicious and great service too! Came here for lunch with some friends. I got a white slice and a Chicken Parmesan garlic knot slider. Both were fantastic. I love a good white slice and they definitely had one. They definitely had a lunch rush; but they handled it well, and plenty of pizza slice options. Frantoni's has consistently provided me with good service and great food. I live in East Meadow and it's safe to say that Frantoni's is a step above its competition. I absolutely love their chicken Caesar slice. I have to get it whenever I come. It's loaded with delicious chunks of chicken and a good coating of Caesar dressing. The dough is great too. Always! If you're one of those health nuts that pats down your pizza with napkins to remove excess oil, you'll probably find the need to do that, but if you're a lover of food, you'll be very happy with scarfing down your pizza as is... This restaurant was our usual go to place for pizza. I ordered a sicilian pie extra cheese and wanted to put it on my credit card. I was told they now charge an extra 4.5% for a credit card charge!!! I let them know next time they come into my office I'll charge them an extra 4.5% as well. I will be finding another pizzeria from now on. Shame on Frantonis to do such a thing during a pandemic. Friends who live in the area and whom we were visiting ordered some pies for a large gathering they were hosting. It's been awhile so, in all honesty, I forget which pies they were. I do remember thinking they tasted pretty good. My 3-star rating may have been higher if I didn't dine at pizzerias on the regular...many of which are pretty darn good. Love the 'upside down' Sicilian. The sauce is really good and rivals that of my all time favorite, Rosa's pizza in queens (middle village location has the best sauce hands down). The pizza is consistently good here. Wish they would turn up the heat in the winter. It's too cold to enjoy as you dine in and would have given 4 stars for a more comfortable dining environment. So bring a sweater in winter...but the pizza is real nice and you'll at least like that. Went back again and was even colder in the restaurant. If they don't want to pay for the heat, they should not charge $4 a slice. read more

I have been going to Frantonis for years now, always loved their food and their specialty slices mostly. The other night I went to eat inside the restaurant and ordered a couple of slices with one of my girlfriends. I found a hair on my slice and I let the counter guys know, they initially didn't believe me and had to examine the hair before they agreed. That's not all, we also ordered 6 knots which came in a bag and once we placed them on a plate- we found another hair!!! It's very upsetting to see how far the business of Frantoni's has come. me and my family come into Frantoni's and eat every so often and get table service as a waitress-or waiter serves us a delicious dinner. However, I came across something extremely disturbing while enjoying my dinner as I was eating with my family. I noticed the young manager Alex with the tattoos who always serves me when I just come in and get slices of pizza and other food. He slapped the behind of a waitress right in the middle of the dining room . Now not only is that not acceptable, it is happening in the workplace. but this waitress looked extremely young, maybe even in high school still because I know that there are high and college kids working at the restaurant. it's very unfortunate this happened right in front of me. If I saw this review on yelp I wouldn't believe my eyes because of how long I've been here and enjoying food each time. something needs to be done. This review is more about the Family Meal Deal Frantoni's is offering now. We ordered Chicken Parmigiana, Rigatoni with Broccoli in a Oil and garlic sauce and the house salad. The text I got with the offer said it will feed a family of 4. That was an understatement. I truly didn't expect the amount of food we got. I even asked for extra bread just in case it wasn't enough. My poor rating is more geared to the dining room. Over the past number of years, we've always had a problem. The only reason we returned is to please my elderly parents. Last night was the last straw for me. As a table of 4, we had a chicken parm hero, chicken Caesar salad, soup, and 2 slices. Granted.. not a large order. When presented the bill, I inquired to the waiter why he charged us a different price that was posted on their menu. ( pointed in black and white). His response was that "prices were subject to change", but of course that was not written anywhere on their menu. And... we were lucky he didn't charge us the sharing charge! Wrong answer! Called in an order for delivery. The woman taking the order over the phone was rude and curt. Order arrived late and my wife's dinner was missing. All food was cold. Called back (only to ask about the missing dinner) and they said they would bring the missing dinner immediately. 40 minutes later they bring my wife's dinner. Delivery guy rings my bell, shoves the bag through the door, (despite all of this I politely say thank you), he gives me a dirty look and says nothing and walks away.
