We were quoted $160 for this service by phone and text. LJ at front desk accepted car, we did not hear from them for more than 24 hours. Daughter received text stating cost would be $250 including a "diagnosis fee", and she declined to sign (I had diagnosed the problem). On phone they then said they only changed REAR differential fluid (NOT what we asked for or were quoted) and front problem persisted-we were polite during this time. We were then quoted additional $200 for front diff service. We went to store, LJ was at computer and said "It will be a minute" while we waited.... After 2 minutes he finally looked up and engaged with my daughter, then went to get manager. Manager mostly pleasant but only addressed me (owner daughter standing right there) and was condescending when I asked specifics regarding the work to be done stating "you let me handle the mechanics of the car". They finally did the front diff/transmission fluid change at a "discount" of $150 after having car for 3 days! Checked and they overfilled fluid by at least 1 quart. Had front diff serviced again at another shop.

It was a Sunday morning. Brought vehicle to Town and Country and left keys in drop box for Monday. We live in the greater Detroit area. Curtis got the vehicle in and diagnosed the issue. Curtis said that the vehicle went into limp mode due to low oil pressure and an oils sample showed metal bits. He said he was not sure that replacing the failed part would fix the car due to the issue possibly caused by the low oil pressure. I decided to not repair the vehicle and scrap it instead. Curtis allowed me to keep it at the shop for about 5 days no issue until I could get my ducks in a row with a scrap yard and a replacement vehicle for my son. He was very understanding of the issue and accommodating. He even gave us a discount on the diagnostic fee he performed on the vehicle! I don't live in the area, but if I did, I would bring my vehicle service/repair needs to Town and Country and Curtis!

He wanted to do diagnostics first before anything else was done . So that is what we did . They were so thorough, honest and he was such a gentleman . My family and I were in Okemos for a Juniors' Volleyball Tournament and had a serious tire/rim issue on our BMW 5-series. It turns out that one of the vehicle's rims had a 1.5 inch crack in it and was losing air rapidly. Despite being very busy on a Saturday, these folks worked me right in (after Dian spent a lot of time on the floor in nice slacks diagnosing the problem) and "patched" up the rim so my family could safely get back home (about 200 miles away). They did not have and could not get a new rim in time for my return home, so they did what great service personnel do - they provided me with a safe, reliable short-term SOLUTION. I am not a regular customer of this dealership and had never been to this place of business in the past. They had no reason to go out of their way to help, but did so anyway. Every one I encountered was determined to assist me with my problem. During my time in the greater Lansing area, every place I went and everyone I encountered placed a premium on customer service; and I for one, am grateful and impressed.
