Last year, our kids were given two gerbils who were around four years old, so when nature took its course (RIP Nibbles and Snugs), they were heartbroken. After holding a memorial service and cleaning out the cage, they looked up at me with hopeful eyes and a "Dad... do you think maybe...?" Yeah yeah, OK. There are lots of big box pet stores in the area, but I'm making the assumption that a smaller local shop likely treats their animals better and hopefully sources more ethically too. In any case, I'd rather shop local when I can and the prices are competitive. I called to see if they had any gerbils available and Aela let us know that they had some males in store. She said to ask for her when we came by. About an hour later, we dropped by and found Aela. She brought the gerbils out in their enclosure and was great not only with the animals, but my very excited children as well. She answered our questions and seemed to really enjoy her job, which makes it so much more fun for everyone involved. She took care of getting them in a box with some bedding and sent us off with smiles all around. I'm so thankful that Denny's is part of the neighborhood, and for great employees like Aela who make the experience fun.

Dennys is known for their vast selection of dog, cat and other exotic pet foods. The staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable. The added bonus is they have dog wash here with two washing stations. This is one of my favorite go-to pet stores.

Unfortunately, He came home with black listed and groomer told my boyfriend that he is not welcome at Petco anymore. I was in shock and super disappointed. Luey had been to professional grooming salon for twice. First time with "best friend" salon in bellevue. He got scared with the sound of hair clippers so best friend couldn't provide a full hair cut. Ever since then, we practiced giving him a bath/ Blew dryer at our apartment's dog station to make sure he is comfortable with it. I was hurt and sad when Petco told my boyfriend " he was try to bite, and they were thinking to muzzle him" during his appointment. He is super hyper 8month old puppy and he still has a habit of nipping my fingers but NEVER ATTEMPT TO BITE. Petco was very nice and she suggested Luey to book with private salon but not with Petco anymore. I guess I still have to deal with his butt hair poop until we find a personal groomer.

Very easy online appointment setting. You can choose what services and any add ons you may want and also pick a specific groomer if desired. Very good communication through text, email, and the Square Go app. Pricing was similar other grooming places. The shop in right on the corner of NE 85th Street and 132nd Ave NE in Kirkland's Rose Hill neighborhood. It's a bit tricky to find the first time because it seems like you are entering into a condominium complex. The shop is nice and has a few pet supplies for sale. Upon arrival I was greeted by Fiona who would be the groomer of the day. She was very nice and our pup seemed to like to her. Once the session was complete I received a text message that she was ready to be picked up. She came out beautiful and happy. Fiona told me how it went and even pointed out a minor concern with her rectal area. Checkout was seamless on the tablet at the register counter and Fiona didn't hover while I was deciding on the tip. She also noted that the "add ons" I ordered online were actually included in the full service bath. I really appreciated the honesty! Overall, we are VERY PLEASED with our dog's first grooming experience and highly recommend Kirkwood Pets to other pet owners. We will be back.

I called a few places, and everyone was booked up for weeks. I made my appointment somewhere (now, I can't remember!), but when Traci's called me with an earlier opening, I switched! It was so thoughtful that Traci's wrote my name down and kept me in mind, even though I didn't originally book with them! They knew I was looking for something earlier and as soon as they had a cancellation, they called me. Talk about customer service. Not to mention the groom WAS THE BEST MY DOG, BETSEY has ever had. All the Best has helped in several ways that have had a major impact on promoting the health of my cats (in addition to their quality, vetted (pun just happened) food choices: It was always difficult to get my cats to drink enough water (kidney health!) until ATB suggested I move the water dish away from the feeding area. MAGIC! And I've added two or three more water bowls around the house away from meal spots. They use them all! Thank you, All the Best! One of my cats stubbornly refused wet food, sticking to her kibble. Then ATB gave me several tips on transitioning my cat to wet food, or at least getting some supplemental wet food into her. VOILA! She looks forward to the gravy-type foods that supplement her kibble, thanks to the techniques suggested by ATB. Thank you, All the Best! And finally, after a scavenger hunt to find low phosphorous canned food (very confusing and no straightforward numbers to read on cans) STELLA gave me an easy-to-read All the Best list of brands and varieties that I carry with me to choose the lowest phosphorous foods. And they now carry specific Weruva and Tiki Cat low phosphorous food. Stella gave me a sample and also another supplement sample that can be added to wet food for kidney issues. Logan, one of the store's employees who has helped me numerous times before was yet again, incredibly helpful and accommodating. She took the time to listen to my concerns and make recommendations tailored to my cat's needs. My cat has kidney disease so her options are limited and she is also extremely picky, limiting her options even more. Logan told me about this new line from Weruva called Wx, which is formulated to have low phosphorus making it perfect for my cat, they offer it in shreds as well as a puree and a few different flavors and i was able to find one my cat LOVED. She cleans her plate at every meal for the first time in her life, its incredible. Even though I no longer live in the area and cannot physically visit the store, I am grateful for Logan's assistance and the level of customer service she provided, and continues to provide me. It's clear that the staff at this store values their customers and goes above and beyond to ensure their needs are met. After I switched from Royal Canin and started feeding them JFFD Balanced Remedy diet and salmon bark/chicken bark/venison jerky, they seemed to reverse age. Their eyes became clear. They were not urinating in their sleep. One of them had a limp that went away after switching to JFFD. More importantly, the help at the Redmond Pantry has EXTREMELY knowledgeable, kind, friendly and helpful employees. I feel so confident in their recommendations. We've been taking our dog to Jax for over a year now and are genuinely happy with the experience…read more(and the flexibility to combine having a wonderful, but high energy dog that could play FOREVER with having to go to work). While there is a bit of staff turnover (which is always sad when you and the dog form a bond with them) team members are all super friendly and caring. We often get stories about how she made new friends with this or that dog in the evening, which we love hearing. If she gets sick, we get a call so we have the chance to coordinate next steps, if she is a bit sassier than normal she gets a report card and I feel well-informed and able to decide on what to do next. Also - one day, she made a bit of a mess of herself right after I picked her up and the staff helped me to get her cleaned up before driving home. Super super awesome and going above and beyond for sure. Our dog herself loves to go and play - her wiggles will certainly show you, and she loves all of the handlers (from what I've seen at least!). The only downside is that when i pick her up after ~7pm she seems to smell a tad of mop water, but all in all our experience is great :)
