All the Best has helped in several ways that have had a major impact on promoting the health of my cats (in addition to their quality, vetted (pun just happened) food choices: It was always difficult to get my cats to drink enough water (kidney health!) until ATB suggested I move the water dish away from the feeding area. MAGIC! And I've added two or three more water bowls around the house away from meal spots. They use them all! Thank you, All the Best! One of my cats stubbornly refused wet food, sticking to her kibble. Then ATB gave me several tips on transitioning my cat to wet food, or at least getting some supplemental wet food into her. VOILA! She looks forward to the gravy-type foods that supplement her kibble, thanks to the techniques suggested by ATB. Thank you, All the Best! And finally, after a scavenger hunt to find low phosphorous canned food (very confusing and no straightforward numbers to read on cans) STELLA gave me an easy-to-read All the Best list of brands and varieties that I carry with me to choose the lowest phosphorous foods. And they now carry specific Weruva and Tiki Cat low phosphorous food. Stella gave me a sample and also another supplement sample that can be added to wet food for kidney issues. She took the time to listen to my concerns and make recommendations tailored to my cat's needs. My cat has kidney disease so her options are limited and she is also extremely picky, limiting her options even more. Logan told me about this new line from Weruva called Wx, which is formulated to have low phosphorus making it perfect for my cat, they offer it in shreds as well as a puree and a few different flavors and i was able to find one my cat LOVED. She cleans her plate at every meal for the first time in her life, its incredible. Even though I no longer live in the area and cannot physically visit the store, I am grateful for Logan's assistance and the level of customer service she provided, and continues to provide me. It's clear that the staff at this store values their customers and goes above and beyond to ensure their needs are met. My dog has been groomed weekly her entire life, and for the past two years I've done it myself because grooming is very expensive. Since I was going to be out of the country and my dog would be staying with a sitter, I wanted her to be clean and comfortable, so I carefully scheduled this appointment through the Petco app and provided all the required information. Minutes after checking in, Lacey called me to ask the exact same questions I had already spent 20 minutes filling out in the app. I let her know I was annoyed at the redundancy, and she reacted as if I was the problem. I even told my spouse at the time: "We're going to have trouble with this person." Unfortunately, I was right. On the day of the appointment, the sitter called to tell me Petco sent my dog home because, according to Lacey, she "wasn't able to stand" for grooming. Instead of calling me--something I had specifically requested if there were any issues--Lacey clipped her nails only and charged $26 without my permission. Not only did I waste hours scheduling this, but my sitter wasted time and gas driving, and I ended up having to pay $110 at another groomer to get the job done properly. To make matters worse, the sitter mentioned the Petco grooming area was loud, chaotic, and unpleasant for the pets. Overall, this was a terrible experience that showed complete disregard for both clients and their animals. Never take your pet here.

Our Goldie was very happy when I went to pick him up. The owner Felicia was also there and she was very nice, friendly, and very knowledgable about dogs. It took only a few minutes for them to get us a bag and Arrow also mentioned that we get 25% off treats, toys and food that could be used with the same year. What a steal! When I first walked in to this store, the customer service guy was on the telephone, but he came and found me in the aisle that I was in within a few minutes, with a big friendly smile and an offer to help me find anything that I was looking for. I told him that I'd like to buy some treats and toys for my cat, and he directed me to the cat section, then told me to let him know if I needed any more help. Quite a bit of this lovely store is devoted to doggos, but there is a substantial section devoted to cats as well. I have the best cat, and I was happy with the treats and toys available for him at Sam's. I took a photo of everything that I ended up purchasing except for a last-minute find - a fake peacock feather for just 1 dollar and 49 cents! What an excellent value. The cat treats and toys were a good value as well, especially for the high quality of most of the ingredients in the treats. Imagine my surprise when reading the ingredient list for the Cat Lobster Treats when I found out that actual Lobster is one of the ingredients in the treats! Tuna was the first ingredient in the Lobster treats, and my cat, Benjamin Kitty, loves tuna. Hopefully he likes these treats, I haven't given him one yet. I was also happy to see that Sam's had the Salmon-flavored Greenies Dental Cat Treats. My cat likes these treats, and the ones that I have at home recently expired. I feed him treats that are helpful for him to pass furballs, and I also feed him the Greenies treats that help with his dental health. Then there are the treats that I feed him just because he loves them. I used to play with my rescue cat every day or almost every day for the first couple of years that I had him, but I haven't been doing play time with him quite that often lately. I've gotten into watching some of Jackson Galaxy's Cat Videos on YouTube recently, and I am reading one of his books right now as well. He says, "Play with Your Cat, Play with your Cat, Play with Your Cat." My cat is extremely athletic, so he really does need frequent play time. When I got home today, I tried out the peacock feather cat toy with Benjamin Kitty for our interactive play time. He really went after this toy, as you can see in the photo. I think it is good for him to have a play time right before I feed him, which I did today and which I will be doing almost every day moving forward, since cats are natural hunters and they are biologically wired to exercise their hunting instincts prior to eating. Cats also tend to naturally hunt close to dusk, so I am going to try to time his play times for around that time moving forward, if possible. The gentleman who helped me at Sam's was understandably a bit frustrated because the computer system there was down today, so he actually had to write down every purchase of mine by hand! I felt badly for him! What an annoying thing to have happen. However, he was also fairly good-natured about this as well, and I was very happy overall with his customer service. The store also smelled really nice when I walked into it, which surprised me. It was a very faint citrus smell. This store does sell a collection of air purification items for pet homes, including sprays, candles, and hanging air fresheners, so perhaps one or more of these products is being used in the store. I don't think I've ever been so pleasantly surprised by the smell of a pet store before... usually they smell like cat and dog food, not an unpleasant smell but not necessarily a super lovely one for humans either. I would definitely return to this store again to buy my cat a few more toys. I really don't think that he can ever have too many new toys (well, within reason, of course), and he tends to be more interested in newer toys, overall. It's so important for my cat's physical and emotional health to prioritize interactive play time with him, and to occasionally buy him new and interesting toys to switch it up. I was happy with my experience at Sam's today, and I am especially happy that Benjamin Kitty liked one of his new Sam's toys so much!
