MudBay for all your doggo's needs. My dog loves MudBay so much that there are days C where we just go in so she can sniff the place out. Great staff. Great products. Can't go wrong with supporting this establishment. read more

The friendliest staff! My dog loooves coming here. I'm convinced it's his favorite place in the world and it's not just because there are treats everywhere. He also gets a lot of love from the staff. They are also very knowledgeable and helpful and have helped me through navigating dog diarrhea, allergies, red eyeballs, dryness, food pickiness. All the things. We appreciate this mud bay very much and intentionally make it out to this location read more

The staff here and the products are absolutely great. My only complaint ever is that the dog trainer whose card I copied (don't even think they recommended her) turned out to be helpful initially, and not good in the end. I would have been better off with the free advice from the Mud Bay staff, which was great! Not only do they have great treats in bulk, they have a reusable container you can get for almost nothing to keep the price down. And, their return policy is wonderful. Can't say enough good things about it. read more

If you have a dog and haven't been to Mud Bay, you are missing out! They have great options for food, treats, toys and basically everything else you could want or need for your pet. The employees are also super friendly and helpful if you have any questions. I'll definitely keep coming back to this location! read more

Honestly there is not a better pet store, Madison and Nikki as well as the whole team are amazing! They are so helpful and knowledgeable and truly dog lovers! The store is spotless and always stocked! They were so helpful when my dog was struggling to find the right food. read more

APPLE PAY!! Stopped in for my dogs' favorite treat, "Potato Pleasers" because no one but my vet carries them. Sadly, that's still the case. Why 5 stars? Because.... I received a quick, friendly greeting, followed by a definitive answer to my two questions, the second being whether they carry Pure Vita dog food, and they do. The person that helped me was quick to point out that he didn't want to waste my time and was certain he didn't carry the cookies. That's consideration. The store is a little farther but MUCH easier to get to than the only other place I know of that carries Pure Vita (Western Pet Supply). I was also given an envelope with perks and discounts for first-time visitors like myself. Add to that Apple Pay and I can say definitively this is my new favorite pet store. Check it out. I think you'll like what you see and hear. I certainly did. read more

I love this Mud Bay store. It's a bit out of the way from where I live currently, but it's worth it when I'm just bored at home with the dog, and we can go for a nice drive to one of his favorite places. The employees are always very welcoming and helpful, and sometimes try to introduce themselves to my shy dog. They're usually unsuccessful (he's a wuss with other humans) but I actually appreciate them trying because I really would love for him to see that people aren't that scary! They carry a great assortment of bulk treats and chews (our favorites are no-hides and First Mate chicken & blueberry treats), and carry great food brands. I'm not particularly "loyal" to this store when it comes to buying his food and treats (we also go to Nature's Pet at Orenco sometimes) because I like to support both businesses, but also they don't carry Answer's raw food here which is a bummer. I regularly go through their raw fermented goat's milk and cow kefir, but they don't carry it and they won't special order things for you unless they already carry that brand in the store. Still, we love this store! Definitely will continue supporting this business! read more

Devon is so helpful! My dog loves coming into this location. Everything is nicely put together and the customer service is fantastic. If you have any questions they will always help out! read more

love the selection that they offer!! staff is already extra friendly, we love bringing our pup bill here & he loves coming :)

Such a great experience!! The store is so organized and really makes you feel happy while shopping for your pup! They have a "treat bar" that you can choose from and pay by weight! I love doing this because my diva of a dog likes variety. They had a ton of different choices and itllllllThe staff was extremely helpful and genuine! Maggie was so kind! I will definitely be back soon and bring my Bailey with me! read more

I love Mud Bay! From their products and of course the staff! They are always so cheerful, sweet and accommodating! Plus most of them recognize you and call you by name, which is something that I appreciate. They have helped me choose the right pet food for my 2 sensitive French Bulldogs and they never fail to include some treats after check out. My doggies always look forward to their Mud Bay treats! read more

I absolutely love this Mudbay. All of the staff are an absolute delight, you're always greeted with a smile and they do recognize you, and your animals. I love their big selections of products, only thing I'm missing is a bigger collection bags of guinea pig bedding, the one they sell I'm not sure is going to be up to my piglets, and vets, high standards- as in not going to cause any respiratory issues. I would never go to any other pet store if they sold the big bags of bedding. Oh and I loooove how you can always get a treat for your animals :) read more

Unfortunately I did not receive the usually great service I usually get at Mud Bay today. I put my dog food on the counter. Devon rang me up. I kindly asked if he need my phone number. ( they have always asked me before they ring up my order). He said I needed to wait, a second later he said " now you can give it to me". He asked he if I needed a receipt and quickly walked away. I usually am asked if my dog would like a treat. He never asked. I thought maybe they are all out of treats. Just as I was walking away the cashier at the next counter asked her customer if her dog would like a treat. Not sure why they would let someone who clearly does not want to wait on customers work at an establishment known for its service. I can get the same food at another store for a better price. I do my best to support small business. This experience left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

This was my first experience in a Mud Bay store. Exceptional customer service by Kyleigh at the Hillsboro location the moment we walked in the door. We needed a specific brand of harness for a dog training class, and not only did she walk us to the correct product (of which there was a large selection of smaller sizes/colors) but tried it on our terrier mix to make sure the fit was right. Then she got a second opinion from another store member to make sure it was exactly right when she wondered whether it should be a little loose. Hands down my new favorite pet store! Super friendly and welcoming to our dog too! read more

Staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Have two animals with special needs and they're advise on what to get them have been super helpful. I wouldn't wanna go anywhere else for my pets needs. read more

I love my Mudbay! Best pet store that was ever recommended to me! I'm glad I got my fur baby from a top rated breeder who only recommends the best. Yes, prices are a bit steep but worth the quality of food and service! I know my baby is taken care of when I feed him all the nutritional foods and snacks from this store. Thank you Mudbay for treating our pups as if they were your own and want what's best for them. read more

Mud Bay is my go to pet store. I LOVE that they have a vet on their staff and they have printed information available to answer problems and concerns. Recently, they special ordered some food for me. The staff is very helpful. This store gives me a small town feel!!!! I am updating my original post but now with a Coronavirus twist. I have called their store several times since I have reduced my trips out of the house. Every time I have called, the staff has been very helpful!! Plus the curbside service has been fabulous. read more

Really like Mud Bay. The staff are very friendly and ready to help as soon as you walk in. The store is split between cats and dogs. Cats taking the right side of the store and dogs the left. The layout is easy to find your way around and everything is tastefully presented. They have high quality cat foods and the litter we use, but at reasonable (and is some cases less expensive) prices. You can pre-order food if you want to buy in a more bulk fashion, and when you do so you get a discount. It's something like 10% off. Also, if you pre-order and change your mind, there's no obligation to come get it anyway. They will just hold onto it until they can shelve it. Overall, I highly recommend this store for all your cat (and maybe dog) needs. They even give you little treat bags for your companions. :) read more

Really good food selection for dogs and cat but could expand on the cat raw frozen. I really appreciate the quality of products they offer. However the service is not good. They always have some attitude and act as if they are better that you? I know that retail is difficult but every time I go I feel a little unwelcome. I am giving 3 stars for quality of products and the appearance of the store. read more

This store is awesome! I have been shopping here since it opened, the staff is always helpful and kind. They always offer to help carry your purchases out to the car (this is super awesome for me when I am trying to get my two young children safely back to the car). Tonight specifically, I walked in to the store in hopes to find something (anything) my under the weather kitty will eat, the customer service was excellent as always. Thank you staff of Mudbay Tanasbourne! read more

Had an amazing experience with Mud Bay! I went in asking for advice on cat supplements (my poor fur baby has a weak immune system so I'm trying to get her building that back up.) Maggie walked right over and gave me advice on how she takes care of her own fur baby who has a similar condition. I walked away with great quality products, and even a "thank you" card for coming in for the first time! I will definitely be back!! read more

Mud Bay - I walked away with great quality products, and even a "thank you" card for coming in for the first time! I will definitely be back!! - Pet Stores Near Me - Hillsboro, Oregon

The customer service here is outstanding! I had an issue with some new food not quite working out for my dog. The gentlemen spent time going over the various ingredients and answering all my questions. Definitely the only place to shop for your pet. read more

This place is absolutely wonderful! I have never been disappointed by Mud Bay. Their most recent development, delivery, has been amazing during COVID-19. We are trying to leave the home as little as possible, and being able to have our pets' essentials delivered the day after we order them is amazing-- especially with such a low "free delivery" threshold (I believe it's only $30). Also, when I have been in-store, they're super hygienic and friendly, and I always have wonderful interactions with their employees. I shop for as much of our pet supplies here as possible, as they are absolutely delightful. read more

Quality place for dog treats, toys and food. Friendly staff and clean place. Had a bowl of water for our dog on a hot day. Upon checkout, they handed us a thank you card and we also picked up a few info cards by the front desk. read more

What a wonderful welcome for a first time visitor from Emily- store was beautiful layed out - I came for my pefferred dog food and it was reasonably priced- this will definitely be my one and only place to shop for my beautiful bichon poo baby girl- Thank you all- It is obvious what a unigue and special store this is. It is clear that a lot of work went into creating this employee owned "model" WOW!!!! thank you All!!! read more

Joe and Madison just absolutely made my day! As soon as I walked in they made time to answer every question I could come up with, and a few I didn't even think to ask. I left with 3 free cans of cat food to try, some samples of urinary health supporting treats, and a much better understanding about what my cat needs in her diet. This was my first day in a new part of town, and I will absolutely be back here any time I need something for my baby! read more

I really, really like this store. Every single employee that works at this Mud Bay location is extremely kind and they don't come off as "fake customer service friendly" but genuinely nice people outside of their jobs. The store is always neat and tidy and everything is easy to find. They don't have the biggest selection, but it's a small store so it's to be expected. Their dog treats are very well priced and I feel like I'm giving my pup good, healthy treats, as the ingredients are written right above the bins. Also, Mud Bay is the cheapest place in the Bethany area to get dog tags engraved, they run about 5$ cheaper than other pet suppliers in the area. They also have supplies for bunnies, chickens and other animals as well. Overall I really enjoy this Mud Bay and will continue to shop here for dog treats! read more

I had the pleasure of visiting Mudbay's newest shop today at their convenient Tanasbourne location! I hadn't heard of Mudbay before attending this year's pet expo in Portland. When I heard they had one opening right down the street from me and my furbaby, I was more than excited! Their store is light, bright, open, and innovative! I love the setup, love the products, love the employees! They carry my dog's food brand, as well as various interactive toys I haven't seen at other stores in the area. I have already planned to return soon with my Americanbulldog in stow; with the holidays fast approaching, you can't forget the pups when it comes to Christmas shopping! One of the employees went out of her way to give me a welcome card (hand written, nice touch!) and a small sample of a freeze dried treat for Oakley. What a great first impression. Can't wait to come back for some treats and toys with my boy! read more

Just stopped by this Mud Bay location. It was my first time at a Mud Bay store. We looked on Yelp and saw all the awesome ratings for ALL of the Mud Bay locations. We were excited to go to a store and check it out for ourselves. When at the store we were looking into a new harness for our puppy. Maggie, a store employee, helped us with sizing. She was incredibly helpful and welcoming to us and our new puppy. She did a few training things with our puppy and treated her. It was so great for to see our puppy working with another person like Maggie. We will definitely be going back to this Mud Bay location so our puppy can visit Maggie and the other employees. Thank your for the great experience. read more

Hands down the best store in the area, if you're looking for goodies for your pup. They've only been here a little over a year i believe. Anytime I'm in here they always offer me sample treats for my pup. They also have an enormous selection of toys. I think some of them are far over priced, and i do wish they carried more of the jolly brand. Just feels really well put together in here. read more

We started coming here when our cat was having health problems. It's been really challenging getting our little dexter to eat because of it and the people at Mudbay have been so helpful. Not only does the store have a great variety of quality product, but their staff are so knowledgeable and patient when it comes to our questions. We can't say enough nice things! read more

This store has extremely good service, way above par. Sookyoung helped us; she was very professional, knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. The products are very health conscious. At the checkout we were asked if we would like some free sample treats for the kittens. They also gave us a card, in an envelope, as a thank you for shopping with us for the first time, and a $5 off coupon for our next visit. That is going above and beyond regular service and I see why they get exceptional reviews. read more

Great pet supply store. Variety of quality products with knowledgeable, friendly staff. I started my dogs on a new grain-free food after speaking to a team member about the many options available at the store (btw, my dogs love it!). They support animal shelters and are based in the Pacific Northwest. Definitely recommended. Thanks, Mud Bay Tanasbourne! read more

Great place to go for your pets! The staff was very knowledgeable and super friendly! I have been to the timberland mud bay but today was my first visit to this location. I, again, have no complaints and only great things to say. Staff was helpful, cheery, and they know their products. There were two ladies working when I went and they only talked about professional things which was also very impressive. read more

My dog Penny and I love this place. The treat and bone selection is great. Today's her birthday. I took her in there to get a special treat for her. One of the employees greeted us right away. I told her today was Penny's birthday and she gave Penny a bacon and peanut butter frozen yogurt as a gift. She loved it! It was great service. Very friendly employees. Thank you. read more
