Situated in Waugh Chapel, this Mexican spot is a very good spot for a quick bite and drinks. Our server Laila (apologies if I spelled it wrong) was also one of the bartenders and was absolutely great. We ordered the gusto margarita with a Tajin rim and the bourbon slap. Both drinks were amazing! We started telling folks around us about the bourbon slap and they started ordering them too. It's a really good drink. The chips, salsa and spicy guacamole were all delicious. The shrimp tacos were really good. The chicken and shrimp fajitas were also flavorful. I do wish you got more food for the price of the fajitas but it wouldn't stop me from ordering them again. We did have one small hiccup in that the enchiladas we ordered came out cold twice. Busy, but quick service on a Saturday night. Nice atmosphere. We found 2 seats at the bar open around 8:15. Our bartender was great! The Mexican whiskey drink received rave reviews. I got the white sangria and it was light, sweet, fresh, and yummy. Our entries (ahi tuna tacos and carne asada tacos) were pretty good. Carne asada would've been better if the meat had more marinade time. The fresh guacamole and chips didn't stand a chance! Quite possibly the best I've EVER had! I popped into this relatively new restaurant last week for lunch. It's definitely a little out of the way, tucked on the back of a large Plaza, bit i thought it was worth the effort to get into. The inside is nicely decorated, and I quickly got a seat at the bar. I guess the bar doesn't gave a dedicated waiter at lunch, as I had several, all of whom were helpful and friendly. They have some good lunch items on the menu, but I went classic and got a chimichanga. It was well portioned and good. the chips and salsa that came with it were fresh and tasty. Here is the real! This place is mid at best. I have been here 3 times trying to give it a chance. The best thing there is the guacamole (if they don't forget to make it) and the drinks, other than that the food is mid. I've been for a special event one night (that was cool), another time out with a friend and sat at a bar top and they completely forgot my food order. This is a New Mexican restaurant in the area and a great addition to Waugh Chapel! We stopped by on a Friday early afternoon (3pm) and it was relatively empty. The service was friendly and fast and our waitress Shannon was really kind. We ordered the Chimichanga and Rancheros Burrito. They were both really similar with the crispy exterior but had different sauces in top/around it. It was good and feeling! Wow, I absolutely love this place. The host and the waitress was extremely friendly and offered great options for the menu. I love the personalized guacamole stand set off in the corner. The guac and chips were so fresh and I enjoyed the salsa so much I was full before my food even came, they offer a lot of different varieties and margaritas and the Mexican food is classic and tasty. The restaurant is an open concept with a modern twist. The only complaint I had was as the sunset the light shined in our eyes and we had to keep moving our seats. Amazing food! I went here to celebrate my son birthday, I was seated immediately. The service was fast and Nia took care of us. I really liked the instagram influencer section you can request to sit in and take pictures. This section added a flare to the ambiance of the restaurant providing a backdrop for pictures. It is very cute and modern in here! We went on a Friday evening once the hype of the new restaurant died down a bit. I had a house watermelon margarita, the thing I loved is that every mixer was fresh made and you could really tell the difference. I ended up having two and they don't skimp on the tequila either. Now on to the food: I had the shrimp burrito fresco and at every morsel off my plate. The portion was a good size for a $20 burrito. He had the shrimp chimichanga, no complaints from him either. We sat at the bar, the chairs weren't that comfortable, but overall went with the decor. Customer service was ok, even sitting at the bar once we ordered our drinks we had to flag someone down to take our food order, but overall everyone was very pleasant. My first time at this new spot. I sat at the bar with my friends and Leila as well as other bartenders were super attentive and upbeat. The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. Honestly I had cut back on drinking margaritas because of acid reflux but I had two margaritas today and no issues, I suspect it has to do with the quality and fresh ingredients and that they make everything in house. Also, one of the other bartenders told us they have tequila flights, it's a whole other menu that we didn't get till the end. However, we decided to do one. The luminescent dreams flight was awesome, well except for the casamigos they had as part of it. Guac was delicious. Honestly, I was impressed and I will be back. We really love Mucho Gusto. We started going to the Towson location where the service, food, and drinks are excellent. Kyle, in particular, is a great bartender. When they opened in Gambrills, we were very happy because we live closer, so we became regulars. But on Friday, January 2nd, our opinion changed, as the service, drinks, and food disappointed us. The bartenders were arguing behind the bar (which we found very unprofessional), there was a hair in the food, and the drinks seemed to have changed recipes because they didn't taste as good as they usually do. Mucho Gusto lives up to its name, but please don't neglect the service, drinks, and food. I hope this was just a bad experience on a stressful day. I ordered a breakfast old fashion that was good and fit food I ordered the Memela Al Gusto. I visited Mucho Gusto today for their soft opening for lunch. I've anxiously been awaiting this spot and it does not disappoint! I was immediately greeted and decided to sit in the bar area as I was a party of 1. I'm really glad I chose the bar area where I was able to interact with both bartenders especially Layla who was great! I was able to ask a lot of questions about the menu items and drinks. I also found out about their happy hour, which is offered Monday through Friday. I'm excited to come back again soon and try all of the great menu items as well as unique cocktail offerings. I decided to take advantage of one of the $12 lunch combos which are an awesome value. I chose the enchilada / taco combo with green sauce. The green sauce was phenomenal! It has an acidic flavor which I enjoyed so much- I would buy this sauce to go if it was offered! The portions were generous and a perfect lunch size. No complimentary chips and salsa were offered, however I'm not sure if they do that here as I didn't ask. The taco was great with fresh toppings, perfect for the hot weather as the meal was not heavy. The restaurant is beautiful with lots of fun things to look at. There is a cool lounge area you can sit in with a really cool neon photo op spot and comfier chairs to sit in. It would be fun for a group of friends to hang out. I can't wait for my next visit, which I'm sure will be very soon as I saw a lot of items I'm excited to try! :) read more

They dug into my hips and I'm a size 12/14. No free refills on the lemonade which I don't think it stated on the menu. It was $5 The food was good but $5/per taco is crazy. Would make a good date night place but I wouldn't bring my kids. Don't get me started on the cloth napkins. I despise cloth napkins. It's a waste. I give it a 3 star. read more
