Muchacho is located right on the beltline in Reynoldstown and has a little free parking lot. It can be a hassle getting in and out of the parking lot so beware! I've been to Muchacho several times for coffee and drinks but never food! The Muchacho patio is so cute and nice on a pretty day and it gets PACKED! On a Friday afternoon, the line to order was already pretty long and the weekends are real crazy so be prepared. I ordered the neapolitan iced and it was fair for the price. The Reggie Rocket burrito came in about 10 mins and it was really not good tbh. I tried a lot of the muchacho free salsa and none of them could help out this burrito. There was a lack of flavor and everything was too soft as there wasn't any crunch or anything to make this interesting. I came here around Noon on a Saturday. I'm a bit disappointed honestly. I hadn't eaten all day so I was starving by the time we made it to muchacho. We all know that if you're starving, whatever food you finally eat usually taste absolutely amazing, so I was surprised when I bit into my chicken burrito and didn't really taste any seasoning. The chicken was moist (not dry or anything) but I think they forgot to season it because none of the other contents of the burrito added any flavor to it. The servers were nice, polite and attentive. The restaurant was busy but there was still plenty of seating inside and outside. They have a lot more patio seating than inside seating though if you enjoy the outdoors. read more

I came cause I was nearby and I wanted some brunch. I looked on the website and the breakfast tacos looked pretty good, so I decided to stop by. I luckily got a parking spot in their dedicated parking lot, which was awesome. It's free and it's accessible from memorial drive. Right now you go inside and you order. And then you get a number and then you go sit wherever you want and servers will bring your food. There is an option for servers to put your order in at the table but it doesn't seem like that's really how it works. Also, you get your own utensils, you can get cups of water on your own and you can also bus your own table, if you want to, but a server will come by. I ordered the bec breakfast taco and I ordered the muchacho breakfast taco, without cheese. They were okay. I also order the guac , which i would say is medium heat. I definitely would come back here. Their drinks are really different, really tasty and rhey look really good. I ordered the ginger spice, which is espresso and ginger beer. It's not sweetened, so it wasn't my taste. I ordered the golden latte, which was really good.I definitely want to come back for lunch or dinner and taste the rest of their menu and taste other drinks. The servers were great but the service is just okay. They definitely gave top-notch service at the counter and bringing my food out. But the difference is, when I wanted to order more things, I had to go to the counter and order that, but my understanding from overhearing a manager is that hopefully that will change and you won't have to get up to order extra things. read more

This fast & casual spot has an aesthetic I didn't even know I was into. I totally wish there were spots like this in Broward but looks like I'll have to make this a stop whenever I'm in Atlanta. A great spot for remote working, I spent some time here with coworkers while in town to get some work done. From the decor to chill atmosphere, it was such a great spot to work from. They have tables, booths, and even a bar to sit at. There were a ton of people working from here during our visit so it felt very comfortable. The noise level was good, not too loud but not too quiet where you would feel bad for holding a conversation or taking a virtual meeting. Definitely a diverse menu with breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We came here during the daytime so it felt more like a breakfast spot when I came to visit. I got a breakfast burrito and blue matcha latte. Both were pretty good but nothing to write home about. YUM!!! I recently went to Muchacho for the first time and I was very pleased with my experience. It is located in Reynoldstown, which is a very eclectic neighborhood of Atlanta. There is a small parking lot at Muchacho, but like other restaurants in that area, it gets filled quickly. The inside of Muchacho is more long than it is wide: in the back is their coffee shop where there are some booths and tables for people to do work, the middle has a bar section with stools for seating, and the front has very limited seating (with tables in close proximity to others) for dining in. However, I believe that people can eat or do work anywhere in the restaurant. And there is an outdoor patio section. The inside of the restaurant is very aesthetic! It is decorated warmly with a lot of plants and definitely feels like a casual hangout spot. I came here for lunch on a rainy weekday and it was pretty packed, but service was fairly quick and staff were very friendly. I ordered the Johnny Utah and Queso with Chips. The Johnny Utah is a breakfast burrito with chorizo, eggs, chihuahua cheese, potatoes, and avocado salsa. First of all, I have been looking for a good breakfast burrito since I moved to Atlanta, and I am so excited to share that this was a top tier breakfast burrito for me. The burrito was extremely delicious and there were generous amounts of chorizo in the burrito to fulfill any protein needs. Everything tasted perfect together! If I had to change anything to the burrito, I would probably add some rice to balance out the strong but delicious flavors. Muchacho has a small fridge with some sauces, such as salsa roja, salsa verde, and a creamy avocado sauce (I think). I added all of the sauces to my burrito to enhance the flavor. My favorite was the creamy avocado sauce and salsa verde; I did not think that the salsa roja had any kick to it. In fact, all the salsas could have used a little more heat. My friend and I split the Queso and Chips, which I thought were okay. Not a big fan of queso on its own compared to guacamole, but it was still a good appetizer. I would highly recommend checking this place out, especially if you like breakfast tacos or burritos as they serve breakfast daily until 3PM! read more

I have been here dozens of times and I am NEVER disappointed. They've updated their menu recently and I can only sing their praises even more. This is a great place to go if you've got friends in town and want to sit outside. There are great vegetarian options here too. If you want to skip the line you can sit at the bar, but I prefer to sit outside! The taco salad is my favorite, but the shrimp burrito is delicious too. read more

It's far from the worst place, but I'm definitely disappointed because I had high hopes for this restaurant. The chicken mole taco sounded amazing from its description, but I was really unimpressed. I get that the peanuts are meant for texture, but the flavor was overpowering and, funnily enough, they were the only source of salt. The chicken didn't have any chocolatey notes either, which was a bummer. The pork sandwich was good, but again, I wasn't impressed. One of the sauces actually elevated it to the next level. The margarita was fine, but it took 15 minutes to get to me because the waitress who took my order ended up cleaning her station instead of making the drink. Another waitress, perhaps a manager, took care of me from that point on and salvaged my experience with her solid recommendations. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and the taco salad with grilled chicken. The latte wasn't terrible, but a little more sweet than what I am used to. However, the salad didn't have much salad or lettuce at all. It was mostly guacamole, beans and corn. The chicken had great flavor and was a nice protein to add on. Overall, I think the salad could've been executed a bit better. I'm not taking this place off my list by any means, but might not order the taco salad again. We started at Ponce City Market and 4 miles later came across Muchacho. We ramped up our meal beginning with the corn ribs which were very tasty and a very good start before dinner and libations. Once our tacos arrived the flavor party began. We ordered shrimp, Barbacoa and cauliflower tacos. They did not disappoint. For dessert we tried the chocolate tres leche cake. The inside of the restaurant is cool with the hanging greenery. They have a lot of patio and outdoor seating. I got the Golden Latte ($5), which was delicious! We visited with our pup, so we sat outside. The restaurant is counter service, they bring items out as they make them. The golden latte was nice, you can order it either hot or cold. We opted for iced since it was hot out. For food we wanted something light, so we ordered two tacos both $5.50 each. The Barbacoa and the Al Pastor are the ones we tried. Of the two, I liked the Al Pastor better. I feel like the tacos were a little pricey for what they were and had a little more oil that I'd prefer. Walked to muchacho with the sole reason of being able to work and get some good food, and they delivered just that.The vibes inside are 70s groovy and are really just amazing to exist in. The food came out fast and was really yummy, the carne asada was super tender and well seasoned and stuffed, i kept getting meat until the last bite. but the fries inside were not crispy, just really added substance. They have this amazing little fridge with a bunch of different salsas to add and i would recommend the avocado one but they all have a kick to it. The tres leches i believe was a spicy chocolate (i say believe because the menu had stated coconut and really i got none of that) I wish it was a lot more moist and dredged in liquid. Our favorite "cool kids" watering hole in the neighborhood. It has such a "community" vibe to it all day and night. I live on the area, and 50% of the time im running into a friend there, and progressing to drinks and conversation. Perfect place to go from working remotely, right into happy hour afterwards. The drinks are tasty, service is super friendly, and theres plenty outdoor seating. The food is super solid, but dont expect a wide variety; cantina style bites and dishes. I've been wanting to try Muchacho for a while now and it did not disappoint! There's a good bit of parking in their lot and it's right off the Beltline so it's easy to walk to as well. It's fast casual, so you order at the counter and then find a seat. Muchacho is so big and has so much seating both indoors and outdoors! I had an iced chai as well as 2 tacos (Al Pastor Taco and Baja Fish Taco). My friend also got a side of fries to split. My chai was super delicious with a lot of great additional spices. So I've lived near this place for 3 years and for some reason never stopped by. Well I did today because a friend wanted to work date and suggested it. Boy it didn't disappoint. Everyone was super friendly and took our orders in a timely manner. We first started to sit in an area away from everyone for the noise but we needed outlets so we moved to the bar, still not a bad move. I ordered the Meat & Potatoes Breakfast Skillet and my friend had the Golden Latte & both were amazing. The skillet was very well seasoned and the latte was the great refresher needed on this hot day.
