FCR was the quickest to respond, easiest to communicate with, and the most professional. They treated my small job with the same care as a major project. After visiting and providing an estimate, Dylan and his team followed up to address any questions or concerns about the quote. Their reliability was immediately apparent. They confirmed a time window of 8-9 am and sent reminders before the work day. True to their word, they arrived right at 8 am. The fence is now standing straight and looks as good as new. I'm really glad I chose FCR and would highly recommend them!

Scheduling was easy, and they arrived right on time. Ben came with his crew, introduced everyone, and they got straight to work. They removed the old fence and installed the new one efficiently. The entire 24-foot fence project took just over four hours. We had received another quote from a handyman that was significantly higher and did not include a warranty. G & G Deck & Fence's pricing was very reasonable, and the fact that their work is backed by a warranty gave us added confidence. The quality of the work is excellent--the fence looks clean, sturdy, and very well built. Overall, I'm very happy with the results and would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Unfortunately, after a miscommunication about part of the project, which I thought we had resolved amicably (I compensated him for the materials he had already used), he later admitted he was upset and had been purposely avoiding my follow up communication. He left the original job on Friday saying he would return the following week to finish a few remaining items. After that, I spent over a month trying to get a response, with little to no communication and no explanation for this treatment. When I finally expressed my frustration, he admitted he had intentionally been ignoring me because of the earlier misunderstanding and offered to send someone to finish the outstanding tasks, "if that's what I was upset about." That level of unprofessionalism was far more disappointing than the few remaining tasks on the project. Misunderstandings happen, but they shouldn't result in giving a customer the silent treatment and leaving a job unfinished. I cannot recommend someone who responds to conflict by avoiding communication completely.

We just had 3 bathrooms re-modeled in our home by T&M Home services. We couldn't be happier with…read morehow they all turned out. My wife was in charge of this project. After numerous meetings with other Contractors she chose T&M. Tom worked with her ideas to help develop a design plan she was happy with. We were provided a very well put together, itemized proposal which noted all work to be performed, which routine materials were included in the proposal, such as sheet rock, painting, etc. The proposal noted which materials were our responsibility to purchase, as well as a proposed price itemized per each bathroom. The work scope changed during the job due to discussions between Tom and my wife. Mid way through the job we were provided with an updated cost report defining the scope changes my wife approved. Tom took care of ordering all the materials. The proposal included a payment schedule which was adhered to as well. One of the reasons we chose T&M was because they told us that once they started our work, they would work every day until the job was done, no pulling off to work other jobs. In fact they only had 1 day they didn't work when they planned to. Their work truck with all of their tools was stolen from the Home Depot parking lot, so they needed a day to replace all of their tools. Randy and at times another worker were there every day. At all times they were very considerate of our home and did everything they could to minimize any inconvenience their work caused. They cleaned up their work area inside and outside of our home everyday at the end of each day. We are so happy with the work they did and the way they did it, we are in the process of working with T&M to replace our fences and remodel our entire backyard. They are very easy to work with and the quality of the work they do is second to none.

We live in the Berkeley Hills it was also time to install an alternative to wood (for fire safety). After doing some research, including a neighbor's recommendation, we found Duce. They did a great job for us. Susan was professional throughout the process, from planning to installation. And she or Kayla returned our calls in a timely fashion. The crew was hard working and they worked quickly. They left the site very neat. They were done in 3 days. At the time they did the job Duce used Knotwood aluminum fencing. Knotwood offers a wide range of colors to choose from. And compared to the company our neighbors used, it shipped the material much more quickly. We wanted the fence to look like the fence we were replacing and we couldn't be happier. Showing how Susan takes care of her customers, we requested a small change. She took care of this without any additional charges. As far as cost goes, metal fencing can cost a lot more than wood. From talking to other neighbors who installed metal fences, I'd say Susan offers competitive pricing. One more positive about aluminum fencing is it's going to last a long time.
