Three little pigs lived just feet from the front door of the farmhouse
    Jessica L.

I should have looked at the reviews before booking. I thought I was getting a ranch type bed and breakfast/lodge. But instead we got an expensive old trashy place. When entering in the drive way there was a broken barn that had a slant. An old boat just randomly in the yard, and next to the boat was an old couch... Sitting on its side. A women approached us outside and introduced herself... We swear she was "meth" out. And we immediately had a bad feeling. Now I love farm/country but not this. The farmhouse has so much potential if they tweaked a few things, but kept the charm of the place. Instead it was old, dusty, out dated. My friend and I checked in (which meant I had to fill out all of this "paperwork" on an iPad which kinda irritated me) we tried staying as long as possible out doing things until we absolutely had to go back. In our room, were two queen beds, with grandmas quilts on them. They didn't feel clean, and when we pulled back the sheets, there was hair all over. We almost got back in our car at 10pm at night and drove home. Thank god I packed an extra blanket, sleeping bag and pillow. We shared my items and stayed on one bed instead of two. The only thing that distracted us from the awfulness was the tv, which had cable and the beers that we brought. We stayed in our room, because socializing with the people staying there was out. We got the hell out of there before dawn. Didn't even stay for the "breakfast" whatever that was. On the Plus size, we got to pet a baby calf. I've stayed in nicer and cheaper hostels than this place. They also have giant teepee's set up on the property but I never saw inside. Those might have been a better option. My friend and I laugh back at this experience now, and needless to say, I'm no longer allowed to book hotel rooms.

This place is amazing.. great getaway.. I would highly recommend it. The staff was creative and fun. Really felt like you were really doing something special while there.. an amazing place and unique experience. I can't wait to go back.. every day there I wanted to leave less and stay more.. love this place!

This was exactly what we needed! Peaceful and beautiful, and so much fun for our two small children. Every morning I enjoyed waking up in Teepee and walking to the farmhouse and enjoying the beautiful view from the deck while we ate breakfast. After that we headed out to feed the animals with the manager mr Pitt. He was so kind, patient and fun for my children that to this day my four-year-old continues to pretend to be Mr. Pitt caring for his animals. Every night we enjoyed sitting around the fire having s'mores. This is a working farm so although there are a few areas with tools and extra wood in a few sheds, the areas for the tourists are all clean, and most importantly the bedding was very clean. I am hoping to plan a trip here again in the fall to see the leaves change.

"DON'T STAY HERE!!! 100% false advertising. Absolutely disgusting!" Two words: STAY AWAY. This place is a sh*t hole. And I don't use that term lightly. I have backpacked through India, Southeast Asia and all over the US and I have never been so deceived and disgusted in a place to "stay". Seriously, read my entire review and if you still don't believe me, take your chances. The short: I booked this house on AirBNB back in June 2016 for the night of my wedding. But thank goodness AirBNB gave me the address of the "Ranch" right after I booked. And a week later when I was down in the area I stopped by because the pictures looked really "suspicious" (I will post and you will see what I mean.) When we showed up the place look horrible. Trash all over, an old disgusting couch sitting in the yard, junk everywhere. We knocked on the door and gentleman answered. I told him that we had made a booking here for the next week and I wanted to come check it out. He let us in and told us we could look around. I'm not quite sure how they thought that anyone wouldn't notice that the pictures they posted were complete FAKES! The place is rundown, dirty with dog hair, smells horrible (probably comes from the flooded basement, no joke, take a look, there's inches of standing water in the basement... So much so that they have put a little elevated "wood walkway" through it), and is NOT bed and breakfast or "guest house". So I took pictures and send them to AirBNB and asked for a refund. AirBNB gave me my refund, but had this to say, "They've [Eric, your host, and Lindsay, his girlfriend] explained that there are three cottages on the property that they rent out and that they are new with the hosting process. This is why the listing was set up with photos of rooms from different cottages and things did not seem consistent." Horse crap. So I did what I do best, researched and this is what I found. The pictures that they advertise on AirBNB as THEIR property came from all over the internet, a house in Texas that under went a HGTV makeover...http://www.hgtv.com/shows/fixer-upper/a-new-home-and-a-fresh-beginning-for-a-texas-mom-pictures?&cuid=e32ef6776770a168476aa63f35513b82 A "beach cottage"? http://abeachcottage.com/2010/07/a-beach-cottage-bedroom-vintage-decorating-with-aqua.html Or maybe their bedrooms were soooo nice that the company Pine Cone Hill (a company based out of Pittsfield, Massachusetts) used their "cottage" to stage a photo shoot to advertise their bedding? http://www.doveanddistaffruggallery.com/bedding.html This was quite literally where I was planning on spending my wedding night. If I had showed up there the day of my wedding, I would have FLIPPED. At a MINIMUM if you are from this area please GO LOOK AT THIS PROPERTY BEFORE BOOKING!!!! You WILL NOT book it if you see it before you book. This is NOT a 100 year old beautiful rustic house. This house is dilapidated and needs to be torn down, or completely gutted and remodeled. If you pay more that $25 to stay here you are going to regret it. Personally YOU COULDN'T PAY ME $100 to stay here. I don't like dishonest advertising and I don't like dishonest hosts. Posting photos that give you the idea you will be staying at a place Martha Stewart decorated and then showing up to find out the truth, that this place is a sh*t hole, is surreal/unbelievable. Their website says, "You will find free shuttle service, gift shop, and shops at the property." This is also a lie. Straight up. There's nothing like that. Period. I'm not sure why there are making up SUCH BIG LIES. People who stay are going to notice and going to spread the word. At some point I hope they clean up their act and start telling the truth about their "property". Also: Don't you find it a bit interesting that every reviewer that has given a five star review has only ever left ONE review ever. Hmmmm... that doesn't sound suspicious at all. Which brings us to Eric N's "Cutest Cow Ever" five star review. Checking his profile you will find that he has also left a five star review for "Monroe: Shining Star Ranch" which coincidentally is also owned/managed by "Eric N" on Air BNB. Which if you want to look into ALSO has a ton of crap reviews stating it's also, "Disappointing", "TOTAL RIP-OFF!", "False Advertising", etc. So great, at this point we know that the only 5 star legit review is from the owner posing as a renter. That just spells honest and trustworthy... Honestly, if they advertised it for what it is: An old house that needs fixing, but if you like that 100 year old thing, than this MIGHT be acceptable. But false advertising and charging people hundreds of dollars and telling people that it is a bed and breakfast with a cute little shop is just plain DISHONEST.

A magical, soul-soothing escape…read more I can't say enough good things about my stay at Wellspring Spa. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I'd stepped into a hidden forest sanctuary. The land itself is breathtaking--towering trees, soft mossy trails, and peaceful stillness that invites you to breathe deeper and slow down. I spent hours wandering the hiking paths and felt like I was in another world. I stayed in the Tahoma cabin, and wow--it was cozy, peaceful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. (They must have updated them based on what I have read from previous posts!) Every detail in the space felt intentional and grounding. After a day of exploring, soaking in the outdoor hot tub with that stunning view of the trees was exactly what my body and mind needed. And the lofted sauna? Absolutely the coolest (and warmest!) little gem--such a unique and relaxing experience. What really made this place special, though, was the warmth and kindness of the staff. They were so welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely cared about creating a healing experience for guests. Also: there's a sweet dog who wanders the grounds and melts your heart--truly the cherry on top. Wellspring isn't just a place to stay--it's a place to remember. I already can't wait to come back.

Rainier and the surrounding area. Telling us the best places to eat, all about the mountain, where to go for pictures, trails to walk, best places to see wildlife, and so much more. They had a campfire one night and provided everything we needed to make Smores. Many of the guests came out to the campfire, enjoying the smores, the conversation, and the stars. It turned out that one couple had stayed there several times before. At the time we were there, the park required vehicles to carry snow chains. They rent chains at the lodge for half the price of the places you can rent them in town. Unfortunately, they didn't have our tire size but immediately offered to go purchase a set for us to rent. By far, Stone Creek lodge was the best place we stayed during our trip. If headed to the National Park or the Ashford area, we highly recommend Stone Creek Lodge.

Paradise Village - Ashford, WA…read more I stayed in one of the Tiny Cabins with a private bathroom and, speaking purely from a single-occupancy perspective, it felt surprisingly spacious. High ceilings, big windows, and tons of natural light with a beautiful wilderness view. And before anyone worries--yes, the windows have solid blinds when you actually want to sleep. The bed was huge and very comfortable. My room had both a coffee machine that made legitimately good coffee and a fancy electric tea pot... which I now want for my house. Anyway. The modern heater made it easy to dial in whatever temperature I wanted, which I appreciated. Inside the cabin you've got a kitchen sink, shower, mini-fridge, and yes--a fancy toilet (worth mentioning). Everything felt clean, modern, and thoughtfully laid out. The grounds themselves are really nice to wander, and the location doubled as a gorgeous wedding venue for my cousin. I'd absolutely recommend Paradise Village both for a quiet getaway and as a wedding venue. Peaceful, comfortable, and well done.
