This is such a great place for littles and for adults! It was my family's first visit and it did not disappoint. They had everything from farm animals (like goats, sheep's, llamas) to exotic animals (like a zebra, kangaroo and a camel), to u-fishing, and to 1/4 mile hike. There really was so many things to do. You could easily spend almost the day there. My husband, 3 year old, and 22 month loved it and all were sad to leave for different reasons. My husband wanted to stay longer because he wanted to fish more, my 3 year old daughter wanted to hug and pet the goats, and my 22 month old son wanted to drive the toddler McLaren car. Unfortunately, it was I who wanted to leave because I had a killer migraine. Suffice to say, we will return on a day where I don't have an all-day migraine so that I have the energy to push my toddler in that car. Parking is plentiful and is free. Restrooms are portapotties. We came here for a school field trip, and it was absolutely wonderful! It's such a peaceful and spacious farm, our class had the whole place to ourselves, which made it feel extra special. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and all the animals looked happy and well cared for. Kids loved feeding them (carrots were a big hit!) and walking the little loop trail. There are so many playgrounds and fun spots for kids to explore, slides, toy cars, swings....you could easily spend hours here. The farm is really nice, open and lots to see and do. I wasn't expecting to see a zebra and a camel! We came mostly to fish and the ponds are really well stocked. Almost everyone caught at least 1 fish. My youngest (11) wasn't having any luck, so one of the kind staff came over and lent him a pole for free to try and help him out. My son immediately got a big one on the line but fell into the pond and lost it! There were plenty of benches, chairs, buckets and nets. They thought of everything! Be prepared for aggressively cute pygmy goats when you get a veggie bucket. Overall we loved the place and are already planning a return trip. read more

We rented the party barn for my son's birthday this past weekend. The room was nice and clean. We had plenty of tables and covered shade area outside for everyone. The farm staff was very attentive and answered any questions we had. Kids had a blast, even the teenagers enjoyed going on the scavenger hunt in the woods. Everyone loved feeding all the animals with the veggie buckets and enjoyed fishing! Our daughter caught a 20in trout! It's great that they had unique animals on the farm and that the staff were knowledgeable about them. The farm is big and doesn't feel crowded with people like a zoo would. Rented the party barn for my nephews 1st birthday! -The staff was very friendly we even came the day before just to check the place out and the lady was more than happy to show us around! - Easy booking and check in. - The staff didn't interrupt our party at all, let us be. -The birthday area is HUGE, we had our own donkeys, and other animals. - The whole place is very well kept. - Fun for all ages. I only have one recommendation, *Please allow more time for your guests in the future to set up for the party, 15 mins was not enough time to get all decorations and party food up and out. No one wants to have guests showing up and you are still setting up. Even an extra 15 mins would have been better! Just some thought. I understand a party was before us , but maybe times can be switched a little so that it isn't so close call and people can set up in enough time. Week 31/52 in my endeavor to try one new (to me), local spot per week! Back at the beginning of August, it was my son's 3rd birthday. Like most toddlers, he LOVES animals and I found this place on Yelp. It's a little bit of a drive for us, but it looked like the perfect thing to start his birthday! We got here right at open which is 10 am. It was us, and maybe one other family, plus the employees. It was really nice! Paying was quick and easy, and we made sure to snag some of the feed buckets for the goats. Note... These goats do not play. They will jump on you, run after you, snatch things from your hands... It was a little overwhelming for my son at times, because they will just jump on you, so that scared him a little bit. That said, he really had a great time with them! Just note that it can be a little crazy if it's not busy, because ALL 20 of the goats will swarm you and try and get at the food. We got to see quite the array of animals outside of the goats as well. In the barn you can see a mini horse, a CAMEL, several types of birds, kittens, guinea pigs, and so much more that I can't remember the names of! My son loved it, and the staff was so friendly and willing to hold the animals so my son could pet them. There's a playground here too, but it's a little rundown. Not exactly the star of the show. There's a cool looking pirate ship playground that looked MUCH more fun (and updated) but it was closed when we went. Hope that opens up soon! There's more animals to see as well, including different types of deer, emu, wallabys, A ZEBRA! and more. There's also a fishing pond that my son isn't quite old enough to take part in, but people seemed to really enjoy. Andddd, there's also walking trails here, too. For the price you pay for this place, it's seriously such a great spot to go with kids! We were here for almost two hours and we had such an amazing time. It was the perfect place to spend the day! The kids loved it! Yours will too! Between Little Kittens and baby goats running around, it was a little slice of farm paradise. Took my granddaughter who is 11 years old to visit the farm. We had a good time. Saw a verity of animals. They have a small play area and she was able to swing and go down a slide. We did buy a few vegetables buckets. They were a little disappointing small size and the goats love the vegetables so much the want to eat all of it before you can get to any other animals. read more

We purchased a Groupon for the three of us and ventured out! It's actually pretty cool out there. We pulled up thinking, where in the heck are we, but were pleasantly surprised by the staff greeting, instructions on where all the animals were, feeding, playing, and areas we could walk. For $2 a bucket, you get a small pile of kale and bread to feed the animals. Camels, horses, pigs, goats, birds, guinea pigs, deer, zebras, emus, llamas, a donkey, wallabies, a dog, and the cutest baby lamb I have ever seen! We wandered around for a good hour and a half, picked out a couple of pumpkins, and headed home. It was a fun day and for sure an adventure we will remember! read more

My family loves this place! I went with my husband, my son, my parents and we ALL enjoyed our visit! For those people complaining about how expensive it is, just stay home, pretend you're playing with farm animals and quit whining. This is a real farm. They have lots of animals to take care of and feed. I think the pricing was pretty reasonable for a few hours of fun. When we were there, there was always someone sweeping the grounds and cleaning up. We went fishing and caught 3 rainbow trouts! They let the goats roam around which I thought was pretty cool. These goats will come to you if you are carrying food buckets. Some might jump on you so you have to be alert if you have little ones as they can get overwhelmed with goats. We did not encounter any rude staff and they were actually incredibly helpful. I've been to a few other farms similar to this one in Washington state and I'd say this is the best one I've been to so far. We will be back soon! read more

I absolutely loved this little place. The property was very well kept and it was not too busy. We went on a Wednesday. There was a little deer roaming the property, as well as a mini cow, both of which would let you walk right up to them and pet them. We had a great time feeding the animals, especially the camels. One of the groundskeepers showed us a little trick. If you put a piece of celery or veg in your mouth, the camel will give you a kiss. :) read more

Had a great time at this farm! My son is 12 and I thought he'd think he's too grown for this place but he loved it! Just enough animals and variety AND love all the goats out in the open. Great interaction. Very organized and clean. And the workers were super nice and it seemed they truly cared about the animals. The girl working the barn today was so sweet and despite having to answer the same question a million times she was as cheerful as a can be. (The question was how old are the piglets? Answer was 6 days old). The BEST part for me aside from the animals is that I was shockingly and pleasantly surprised how it did NOT smell like manure at all! And then I saw the guys picking up droppings constantly. Great great job on that bc I appreciate being able to breathe normally and also not having to worry about stepping on any! The prices are extremely reasonable as admission was $10 per and $3 per fresh veggie bucket to feed the animals. From parking to exiting we spent about an hour there (we didn't fish). read more

First of all we're just visiting our granddaughter from NorCal and since we take all of our grandchildren fishing at our trout farms we wanted to continue doing so while we visited Washington so we found Old McDebbies animal farm and yes they have a trout farm also! From the time we got out of our vehicle we knew we made a good choice in coming here. One of the farm hands opened the door for us and welcomed us in. We got a full run down of the farm and an explanation of payment. Well we didn't fish but kind of regretted not doing that. The trouts in their ponds are humongous. We saw someone pull out at least 2 three pound trouts. I don't think we'd have any complaints bout fishing...a lot of trout in the ponds! We will definitely be in 2023. Ck the calendar for an opening day. As for the farm itself, our grand daughter had a blast feeding the animals. They had kangaroos, wallabies, camel, lots of goats to name a few.Horse rides are available but not when we were there probably because it rained pretty good. Otherwise great place! read more

We absolutely LOVE it here. We got to meet our first and only grandson there when they came to Washington to visit in July. It was a great place to take a small toddler. And an even better place to enjoy the scenery and see the various animals. He loved the trail to the musical forest where he played on different drums that were made with upcycled items. There's a lovely pond with a huge willow tree that is so picturesque. It was a super hot day so we had to shorten our visit but the time spent at the Farm that gave us the best memories to last for years. Bring snacks and drinks or a cute picnic lunch. Theres plenty of spaces to have an enjoyable picnic. But the kiddos wont want to sit for long lol. The little goats are so cute and love to follow you and jump up. There's animal veggie buckets you can buy to feed the animals. Be warned it cam ne overwhelming to little ones as the goats will try to get the treats. And for some it cam be a little scary when you get the whole gang wanting to be fed treats lol. Its worth every penny for the admission. Enjoy! read more

This farm is totally fun! They have so many animals to see, and I feel like every time I visit, there are more things to see. It's truly a beautiful area. We came here many times for field trips, and I always looked forward to seeing the more exotic animals. The kids love feeding them, and love finding the large free-roaming tortoise. When we came last year, we got to see a tiny baby baby kangaroo wrapped in a blanket. So cute! Jim, we learned, is a retired bus driver, and understood where to park our buses and cars of families. They were waiting for us bright and early and it was seamless to park, get the kids off, and get going quickly. My school has always booked our kindergarten field trip here, but we chose Northwest Trek this year. When we visited in the past, our kiddos were able to fish, and if anything was caught, they could pay to keep it, or it was donated to the food bank. The last time we went, fishing wasn't included. I hope they add a separate field trip "package" option that has a fishing price included-even if the kids only caught 1 or 2, they would still love it! I'm sure I could convince my fellow teachers and PTA to return here if the fishing part could be included! I super understand that stocking the pond costs money and don't think it should be free, but pretty please consider adding a field trip option for it. read more

Wanted to write a review that would counter the negative one on here! Totally wrong and undeserved. We love coming here! The goats are wandering around the property and have a laser focus on the food buckets you can pick up to feed all the other animals. All of the animals have plenty of space and seem unbothered by the children, unless they have a bucket of food in their hands. Im sure some kids occasionally can be brats but the 2 times we've come here i havent seen one. The animals are definitely well-fed and kept in clean enclosures with plenty of staff here always cleaning and maintaining them. I cant imagine anyone having anything bad to say unless they're just that type of person, perhaps putting name tags on packages of meat at the grocery store. You cant please everyone i guess! We spent an entire day here with the kids. Plenty to do and everyone had a great time. Thank you to the owners and staff! Great local place to spend the day and learn about the animals! read more

This place is cool. It's unrestricted and hands on. There's lots of fun things to do. I was amazed by the donkeys and ponies roaming free. The staff was awesome. It was fun to feed the animals. I fell in love with the baby donkey that was one week old. The donkeys kicked the fence when they saw the buckets of food to get your attention because they wanted some. The highlight was the kangaroos. It was neat to see them get ready to "box" The musical forest was awesome too. Maybe next time we'll try fishing. read more

Absolutely adorable! The stuff is welcoming and helpful, they asked if we've been there before and then told us all about the farm. We got there at 10am right at opening, the goats were so cute roaming around the farm. The animals looked well taken care of. My kids had an absolute blast feeding the animals, the buckets of veggies were sold on site, and the little goats were so cute running to us as soon as they saw we had a food bucket. There is an pretty deep lake for fishing in the middle of the farm. I just have to say keep a really really close eye on the kids because there is no fence so kids can fall right in. But that's not anyone's fault, just very important to keep the kids super close while walking near the lake. They also have playgrounds with slides, which my kids loved, some toy cars as well, a drum forest where you can take a stick and let the stress out banging in the buckets and pots and pans. I mean it's supposed to be for the kids, but I sure went at it pretty hard! Lovely place, we are definitely coming back and bringing daddy next time so he can show the kids how to fish. read more

We rented the party barn for our daughter's 5th birthday party. It was great! The staff were friendly, helpful, and as accommodating as possible given how busy the farm was on this beautiful day. The staff person leading the pony rides was great with my daughter who was slightly apprehensive at first. The ONLY down side was the distance guests had to walk to get to the party barn. If you plan to rent the barn and have older guests, I would suggest having them arrive early and ride down in the two vehicles you're allowed to take all the way to the barn. All in all, excellent service and excellent venue. We'll for sure be back. read more

Great place for an awesome price. Decided to take my 17 month old daughter here and we had a blast. The cost to get in is free for children 2 and under. For myself, it was $10 and for a bucket of treats for the animals it was $3. The animals are all friendly and clearly loved. We were welcomed by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I read the reviews before coming and was hesitant due to one that mentioned rude staff members. To anyone concerned, they are far from rude. In fact. They are very inviting and willing to answer any questions you may have. Most areas are open to the public, but there are a two specific areas designated only for parties. The areas for parties are clearly labeled and say they are off limits except for reserved functions. Another awesome perk about this place is you can bring your own packed food (just don't feed the animals unless it's the buckets they provide). We used to love this place, we had a tradition for the last 3 years since my son was born to go on the same day every year (july 19th and other times through the year). We were greatly looking forward to the trip this year but were turned away because we could not mask for medical reasons... the owner wanted to charge us full price and not allow us to utilize most of the park despite the fact the order states people with medical reasons do not need to wear the mask as well as people 5 and under... this is absolute discrimination as we should be allowed anywhere we would be allowed with a mask since we made it clear its for medical reason.. so sad to break a tradition especially since it was our 2nd babies first time.
