The playground is split into an older kids side and a younger kids side, with 1 entry (and a fence surrounding). Visibility isn't perfect but the single entry point is great if you want to stand in the middle to keep an eye on kiddos. Great spot for play dates (come with a coffee!). There are portapotties at the park and a real restroom a small walk down the path. Park is great for kids to use their imaginations and play, which is so much fun. Great spot to bring a ball and play catch or picnic to sit and relax or bikes! Can get hot - wear sunscreen if the weather is nice. Friends said it's also fun to bring bikes or a stroller and hit up the cafe (a bit of distance from the playground) and have some sweet potato fries.

My kids love coming here to play, scooter and walk around on the paved trails surrounding the playground. The playground is divided with an area for toddlers (2-5) and older kids. Spacious parking lot and picnic tables as well around. Restrooms are nearby as well - they are well maintained and nice as far as public park restrooms go (heated in the fall/winter time). My kids enjoyed the ziplines and bonus they set it up so I didn't have to pick up my kids to get them on it. The ground is the squishy astroturf stuff, which I think is nicer and more kid friendly than woodchips. There are clean restrooms available right next to the playground, with a water bottle filling fountain on the backside of that building. I've never seen a water bottle station at a park before (only normal water fountains) so that was cool. My only downside here: The playground area is completely open with no shade, so bear that in mind on hot days! When we visited it was in the mid-80's and we all got toasty quite quickly. There are two shelters with tables/benches available along the side, presumably mostly for parents and caregivers as the playground is so fun - good luck getting your kids to take a break from playing!

COVID times) Not every kid can use a regular swing, it takes a lot of core strength to use one, so Meadow's playground has a couple of swings with full seat (see pictures, red swings ) This place is a hidden gem. There's also a covered picnic area in case it's raining or too sunny. Oh! And the best part: Plenty of parking spots!

The play…read morestructures were big and had a large variety of things, slides, climbing, spinning, ropes, etc. The one for the slightly older kids with the steepest slides had beans puke all over it (not sure how long it had been there), which was super gross, but the park service truck came while we were there and power hosed the thing down. Our toddlers had a great time climbing on the blocks, enjoying the slightly shorter and less steep toddler friendly slides, and the bucket swings.

The set up and amenities are cherished after what felt like a long, hot walk on the trail. Lots of playground equipment, statues and historic outside pieces to take a gander at. The name is very appropriate as this park is literally across the stores and restaurants from downtown and the main drag which blends the two in a very convenient and resourceful way. Main City Park is also the beginning of another trailhead for the Foothills Trail as well. Very well kept and clean this park is great to spend time with family and is large enough if you wish to be more solitary from others you can to a certain degree.

They have a big open grassy circle with a paved path around it for those who would like to skate/bike/walk, and there's a sign to tell you how many times around is a mile. They have a really big fenced off area with trees and lots of room to run for dogs! There are also gravel trails around little ponds to explore. They have done a really nice job cultivating this for the community! There is a big open grassy area behind the community center too, can't wait to see what it turns in to! My little sausage dog loved coming here to explore the trails. The only down side is that the ponds can attract some geese and all the droppings that come with them. The caretakers do a nice job of trying to keep it clean, but this kind of thing is expected. This problem can be avoided if you don't go around the pond; the rest of the park is pretty immaculate.

When I walked in the door things got awkward. I was standing at the counter waiting to pay the entrance fee. Two women behind the desk were just chatting away with each other. Did they notice me? I didn't know. I questioned whether or not I was to pay. Maybe it is free here! Well eventually they noticed me and smiled but didn't greet me. So after waiting patiently for a few minutes and searching for a pricing chart that I never found I decided to walk in and meet my friend. The toys are very fun for infants through preschoolers. I had so much fun playing here with my baby! I like that they offer a wide variety of gross motor and fine motor skill toys and they have two areas that can be closed off to prevent your child from wandering too far away. Toward the front they have an eating area with tables and chairs. This is very useful when you need to take a break to breastfeed/eat/drink. We stayed for hours until it closed at 3, as we were leaving I flagged down an employee and payed $6. She was very relaxed and didn't seem to mind at all that we didn't pay as soon as we came in. Well worth the money! I will definitely be back.

The best part is you can visit their website and you can check if the water is okay for the kids to play with . There's usually an update regarding if you can swim and such. The only thing I'm worried about is when there is no one there to facilitate the other kids swimming, because I noticed there were lots of kids who goes there without their parents or guardians. The cops do come around for their rounds sometimes, but not all the time . I always have my eyes on my kids because there were sooooooo many people and soo many kids during school break holidays and I can't even imagine summer break. If you want to entertain your kids for hours bring them here and just have a picnic and enjoy the sand with the kids. Don't forget the shovel and bucket though lol.

Nice pier that goes over some of the lake to take in veiws and to fish. Nice swimming area and it was busy with kids occupying the area but I still felt it was too nippy outside to really enjoy the water. The Funland part is kind of an elaborate wood jungle gym which looks like a great place to let kids play in. Plenty of room in the park to spread out and and do picnics and just hang out. The weekend I went the park was popular with all of it's amenities including a snack vendor which was in the building where the restrooms were next to the lake. Parking isn't too bad but I was a little bit concerned if I was going to find a spot but there are two lots that you can use and the one towards the entrance to the park is bigger. Nice outing and glad I made it here as I had it on my list but I am glad I went when I did because in midsummer heat I am sure this park is super busy!
