The park itself is beautiful. Loved all the art throughout the park to see while the kids played. The lawns are nice and well-maintained, there's a splash park area for kids, and you can spend a good hour just walking around the perimeter and checking out all the interesting lawn sculptures and statues. Adjacent to the library, this is a great place to chill. A real gem for the city of Puyallup.

Nice park in downtown Puyallup! It is well kept and clean. Good for picnics. There's a kids playground and a kids water spray area. Summer concerts are held here. The local library, Anthem coffee and many restaurants nearby.

Concerts in the park... It was packed tonight!

One of the coolest playgrounds ever! And they recently added a water feature that is so much fun for the kids (I may have played in it a little myself...). My Nephews love coming down here to play on the slides. There are even musical features on the big toy. I grew up in Puyallup, moved away after college and one of the things I missed the most was the beautiful and plentiful Farmers Market of Downtown Puyallup which takes place in the Summer at this Park. The Pavilion acts as a great spot to house a bulk of the fresh meats and breads, fruits veggies and flowers can be found outside the Pavilion. Cooked foods are generally outside along with crafts and other goodies. There's almost always at least one charity fundraiser happening during the market as well. I love this park! There has been a steady rise in quality restaurants, bars and shops surrounding the park and along the downtown strip of Meridian. The Puyallup Public Library is at the center of the park - making Pioneer Park a hub of all that is good in this sweet nostalgic community.

AMAZING place! Surrounded by lots of beautiful landscaping and buildings. The play set area is right next to the public library and there's a Kids spray water park area also. Lots of neat art sculptures to walk around and see. There's even a small stage and a little rose garden. They take great pride of this area and it definitely shows!

Perfect location. Right in the middle of town. Nice scenery. Always has interesting art decor. During the summer they have in the park concerts on Tuesday nights. Nice size playground for the kids. Its across the street from Subway and elements. And Anthems is right too, so you can get your coffee fixs. Always a nice place to go and chill.

Awesome park. My kids love the playground. Clean and inviting place. Very nice decoration throughout the park. Nice place for a family to spend some quality time together. There is a restaurant close by so you can stop and grab some food if you like.

Pioneer Park is a beautiful park in the heart of downtown Puyallup. It has flowers and sculptures all over adding to its appeal... not to mention that it's surrounded by a ton of small businesses that are also fun to visit. The park has a playground for children and tons of grass for strolling, relaxing, playing with your dog, having a picnic, etc. During the warmer months, there is also a Farmer's Market on Saturdays, which in my opinion is one of the best Farmer's Markets I have been to (and I've been to quite a few!). All-in-all, this is a great park to visit.

Great music....ready to go to Hawaii...anyone want to come!

If you want some great entertainment all summer long, grab your chair, your picnic basket and your favorite pal's and get ready to dance dance dance! Thursday's music in the park, rocks!

Love this place--good community hangout spot. Nothing is better than we all come together for a farmers market, a parade or just to chill on a nice summer day. With the spray park coming in this week, this place will only get better!

    New spray park!

The heart of downtown Puyallup! Library, restaurants, play ground, the farmers market. And starting today, the new spray park! Our family loves hanging out here.

Several of the pieces of equipment on the fitness trail are kaput, but it's still a nice place to walk through. Lots of picnic shelters that can be reserved, though some are kinda really in disrepair. The log cabin style one looks rustically nice, but there are a lot of holes in the roof. There's also a creek with easy access so you can dip your feet in on the hot days. Definitely awesome when our giant sky oppressor is in full force since you can hide under the trees, but a good option regardless of weather.

This is a great park for the summer. It's CRAZY shaded so you don't have to worry about the slides getting hot (which is crazy because they're metal). There are two play structures - one being suited to toddlers and one to older kids. The highlight of the park is obviously the creek. It was a warm day and I dressed my kids accordingly because I knew they'd play in the water! Annnnnnddd they did. I'm glad that they did because it's a great element to the park. I don't think this'll be a fall season park choice, but for warmer days, it is THE spot. Worth the visit! There's also trails surrounding the park if you're looking for a little oasis tucked into the city.

I enjoy this little park! The park is close to the FootHills Trail East Puyallup Trailhead, Farm 12…read moreand Cafe Fika. The park has amazing views of Mt Rainier! A great place for all things photography, simply take a relaxing peaceful walk on the paved trail painted with yellow flowers (so cute) to enjoy the scenic view of Mt Rainier. During the spring, you can witness the beautiful blooms of the flowers in the field. I've seen other Yelper's beautiful pictures. I missed this last spring due to my frequent travels out of state. I hope to capture it this spring. The park is well kept. A children's playground was recently completed last year 2025 I believe around October/November. Pet friendly. I bring my grandpups Havanna and Kuba here to enjoy as well. Potty bags and trash receptacles also available. Porta potty on site. There are benches throughout the park. A swinging bench located at mid section the loop which faces Mt Rainier. It's a perfect spot to enjoy the entire view of the park and Mt Rainier.

I wanted to wait until the hype died down a little bit - it still does have plenty of hype, but not too much at dusk in January. We took advantage of the rather warm, dry January day this week and headed to check out the playground after my kids were out of school. It's conveniently located right next to Farm 12, so there's plenty of parking in front of the park and next to the park. The playground is so much bigger than I expected! Huge! There are multiple play structures for a wide span of ages. My kids had a BLAST here. Even my toddler was able to get around pretty easily on the bigger structure (always anxiety inducing for me). My older two also really loved the rock climbing structures too. This park is about a 20 minute drive for us but it's entirely worth it. I see lots of trips here this summer happening!
