i was peacefully walking on a trail when a spooked horse came bolting my way! it was galloping towards me at full speed. horses should not be allowed here. i could have lost my life! 1 star

Relax riding on the flat paved road as far as you want. There is a small bike park near the parking lot with the view of Mountain Rainier. Have been here several times. Kids and pets friendly.

Enjoy riding on this trail. It's fun easy flat there's a slight hill but it's no big deal you have to cross some busy intersections but traffic is very friendly. It's easier to go in groups and stick together I didn't wear a mask.

One of my favorite walks is on these trails. You can go over the bridge & see the beautiful river! There is a secret spot by where the old bridge used to be that you can find a sandy beach & see where the Carbon & Puyallup rivers join together. In one of my pictures you can see how I was under the old bridge! A very fun walk, great for anyone! If you want to find the secret spot, keep in mind that you're not technically supposed to be down there.

Quiet, and remote enough to let my terrier run back and forth as my toddler and I walk the trail. Lots of rocks. Not a scenic walk and not very beautiful but long and peaceful.

Nice trail! No mountains to climb or bike ride on, and it's flat and beautiful with Mt. Rainier and river views.

My son and I enjoy riding along the beautiful river and through the woods on a nicely paved trail from Orting to South Prairie!

The Bellevue gardens is a pretty quiet and secluded little spot to relax and take in some nature…read more It's not a huge place, but it's big enough that you can spend an hour or two there, casually strolling about. No trouble with parking, and it is free to enter, so you really should stop by if you are nearby. It's worth it.

BOTANICAL GARDEN @ BELLEVUE…read more Parking is available right out front, which makes this place super accessible. There are also designated handicap parking spots. My friend and I visited on a Friday around 2 PM, and there were a few spots open, so getting in was really easy. I loved how simple everything was to navigate, there's even a map available when you enter. Entry and parking are both completely free, which is a huge plus. We walked along the trail and I'd recommend spending about 2-3 hours here if you want to take your time and fully enjoy it. We had to speed-run our visit because we had another errand afterward, but it was still incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend stopping by the bridge, it was very therapeutic and relaxing to walk across. There are plenty of benches and seating areas along the way, perfect for taking breaks or just soaking in nature. The quality of the space is amazing, with a wide variety of rocks, trees, and scenery that make the whole experience feel peaceful. There are also bathrooms located at the front, and you're never too far from other people, which made it feel comfortable and safe. Overall, I definitely recommend stopping by this place.

This entire experience was terrible. I bought a groupon (who actually has great customer service…read morebtw) for class 3 and 4 white water rafting. We booked the rafting trip one month in advance through email communication with Captain Dave. The day before our rafting trip, I emailed him to confirm the meeting location. He emailed back saying the trip was cancelled. Well, gee, thanks for telling us before we drove an hour to Index, WA. That should have been a red flag right there that this was not a reliable company. But I really wanted to go white water rafting as I have never been before. So I scheduled out another trip for a date a month in the future. I again emailed the day before to confirm the meeting location. I received an email back saying the meeting location had changed, to a location that was two and a half hours from where I lived. Well, once again, thanks for letting me know in advance! I'm just glad I had the common sense to email and check both times. I should have taken that as the second red flag. But again, I really wanted to go white water rafting. So we get to the meeting site today, and are told that there is no white water left anywhere in the state of Washington. Well, okay. But then five minutes later, another tour guide told us it's because they don't have the permits to go up the river where there might be white water. Why are you running a company for white water rafting if you don't have the right permits?? I was told through email that the trip would be 3-4 hours long, which is good because I had a meeting I had to get back to in Seattle at 3:30pm and the trip should end at 1:30pm at the latest. We ended up floating on a river for 6 hours in the hot sun. I missed my meeting, was starving since no warning was given it would be 6 hours and no food or water was provided, and my boyfriend was very sunburnt since, once again, didn't expect to be floating on a river for 6 hours in direct sunlight. tldr; stay away from this company because they will cancel trips the day before, lie to you because they don't actually have white water rafting when they say they do, and float you an extended amount of time without warning or food or water. The tour guides are really great though and I'm sorry they have to work for this kind of company

Peaceful floating down the river. Weather was fine. Little windy on the river…read more Nice views, saw so.e birds.
