We used to love this place, we had a tradition for the last 3 years since my son was born to go on the same day every year (july 19th and other times through the year). We were greatly looking forward to the trip this year but were turned away because we could not mask for medical reasons... the owner wanted to charge us full price and not allow us to utilize most of the park despite the fact the order states people with medical reasons do not need to wear the mask as well as people 5 and under... this is absolute discrimination as we should be allowed anywhere we would be allowed with a mask since we made it clear its for medical reason.. so sad to break a tradition especially since it was our 2nd babies first time. Most of the day was great up until the last 10 minutes of visit...the owner, McDebbie Downer, came over and verbally lashed out at us about kids being on the pirate ship....as the owner and business person she should of handled the situation differently! She was belittling and condescending and ruined the last part of our day. If you want children not to play on objects then have a decent, unweathered sign and a lock on the gate....you will NEVER get our business again! read more

Great family fun! Our birthday party was a hit! The gals & guys on the staff we the friendliest and so patient with our questions.

This place is fun! the only reason i give 3 stars is because most of their animals nails (hooves etc) are over grown! One of the pigs was even limping because of the stress put on her feet by long nails curling into her skin, not to mention she is morbidly obese for a pig, which adds way more stress to the feet and joint. this goes for the ponies as well. These animals need to be tended to and taken care of. Some people might think farm animals can't be overweight/are just for work, they are living beings with feelings, they can feel pain just like all of us. their is no way that they are comfortable/healthy. so sad to see :( i hope they will see this message and make a change for the animals, they give you business the least you can do is take care of them. read more

A very special place. All sorts of animals. From baby goats, deer, tortoise, pigs, donkeys and camels. Right there to touch, feed and pet. One of the very few places we've been where you are ENCOURAGED to touch the animals. The grounds are large and clean. Just right for kids to run and play. NOTE: These are live animals. They are very nice and easy to feed but they can bite, poop, push and scratch. Part of the attraction!!! However, if you are not comfortable with this it's best that you just go to the zoo. read more

Loved this place! My 2 year old daughter enjoyed the farm too. So much to see and learn. So much freedom to pet animals and feed them. Everywhere was clean and no harsh smells. And I didn't see a big crew there so they are definitely doing a great job. With some more love and support this place will become even better. I loved their system of payments. We went here today and had a blast i was concerned because of a few bad reviews but when i asked about the goats with no horns she said she does not dehorn her goats she also said that her zebra and ox do not live permanently in a small enclosure just during business hours and that they are housed together during the day because the zebra gets very lonely aside from some bad apples when it comes to reviews i personally loved this place and we spent over three hours for our visit my daughter is under two so she was free but we paid for her to ride the ponies twice and the train we are gonna wait until her birthday to do the fishing but she really enjoyed herself the animals were clean and well cared for unlike some places we have been to the animals seem happy and healthy the baby pig couldn't stop wagging his tail he was so happy i will for sure be coming back again because we will be booking it for her birthday and we will be more than happy to come again as a guest and recommend this place to anyone we loved it! read more

I absolutely love this place. We took our 4 kids on July 4th and it's was the best Independence Day yet. Best place to take your kids! Affordable and lots of animals for them to see & pet as well as fishing. Recommend bringing your own fishing pole as theirs are well used and we had to swap ours out multiple times but other then that it is a great place to spend the day outside and enjoy the animals. read more

Yikes. First - all the baby goats have there horns cut completely off. The animals are kept in very small enclosures with no shade. A zebra and ox are enclosed together with an electric wire around the fence. Children are allowed to interact with the animals unsupervised which opens up opportunity for abuse, knowing how kids can be with animals! I feel so guilty for even going, hence writing this poor review followed by reporting them. For context I was a member and supporter of the San Diego zoo for years. It made me feel really sad for the animals to know this is legal. read more

My friend and I took our kids on a play date here for the first time a week before Halloween (I know this review is late, but the farm experience was on my mind a month later so I had to post anyway!) specifically to pick out pumpkins at their pumpkin patch. To be honest, I was dreading going to a pumpkin patch full of mud, but was pleasantly surprised to see their pumpkins on a nice display around the farm! So after the kids had their fill of interacting with all the exotic animals, pony rides, playing with all the toys, and exploring the musical forest... we chose a wheel barrel full of reasonably priced pumpkins and left saying that we will definitely be back in the spring to try our luck at catching trout in their U-Fish pond!!!! We all had a blast. Staff were friendly and showed us around. We would recommend this farm to anyone! read more

This is a great place for kids - big & small. We took our 2 toddler grandchildren and 2 grown kids - everyone had a wonderful time. There were so many activities - from fishing in the 2 ponds for trout (easy to catch!), pony rides, swings, a nature trail and of course all the different animals to see, feed and pet. Some friendly ones are even roaming around to come up and say HI! I would highly recommend taking a picnic lunch and spending the day there - lots of chairs, tables and shade under beautiful trees. The admission is so reasonable at $8.00 per person (more for fish and pony rides). We will definitely return whenever the grandkids come in for a visit. Or maybe we'll just go ourselves to relax... read more

First time I went here our daughter was 9 months. We thought she'd be free to get in like most places, we only brought enough cash for the 2 adults. Debby wouldn't let us in, she turned us away. We came here expecting to spend 2-3 hours. We ended up staying until they closed! This place is so fun for kids and grown-ups alike. They have a huge play structure, sandbox with toys galore, water tables, petting zoo with animals beyond that of a typical petting zoo, a large lagoon and pond generously stocked with fish, and then-some. We will most certainly return the next time we travel to WA. I wish we had one of these farms close to home! read more

I took my 18 month old daughter here, and we had a blast. I grew up on a similar farm/ranch (though, without the camels and lemurs!), so it was a great blast-from-the-past for me. My daughter went on a pony ride and befriended a goat. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, as was her daughter (I think it was her daughter?). It's clear that this is a working farm--not everything is pristine and yes (gasp!) there is dirt and mud, but anyone who's spent 5 minutes on a working farm knows that it's form and function over being pretty and pristine. I appreciated that it was clean, open, well-kept, and yet still clearly a family-owned and operated. I also appreciated that there were lots of places for kids to play safely (swings, slides, climbing areas, play kitchens, kid-sized benches, etc). I will go back here any time! read more

I'm giving this place one star because how sad I felt for the animals, specifically the zebra, camel, kangaroos and peacocks. They are very small pens for these animals. The one kangaroo just hopped back and forth, back and forth his 15 by 30 foot cage. It was sad to see them caged up in such small cages, with no where to go. There was some cool things about this farm, like the roaming llamas. Just sad to see all he others caged up alone, no space. read more

They came to an event I was at and the camel was huge. Also lots of other animals to pet. The only bad part was their goats were head butting around all the toddlers seemed a little unsafe but I am probably over reacting. read more

I would NEVER book a party here again. We booked a birthday party here a month in advance. We called two days beforehand to re-confirm and were told it was confirmed. Everyone (17 kids and their parents) showed up at the appointed time, and were told that they had no booking for us, AND that when they re-confirmed our party just two days prior, they weren't "near the book" and just knew there was a party that day. Turns out it was some other party that booked (in the space we reserved, the pirate ship) two weeks AFTER we booked our party. Then, while they continued to tell us we were not booked (so I guess I should get that $280 back that they charged me when I booked the party?) we all had to just wait around outside while they took care of the other party. When we finally got in, we had no designated party space, and no pirate ship -- which was the whole reason we booked there -- and which the kids had been all excited about. They did put up some tables and chairs for us and we did get free pony rides (a savings of $25), but it was all extremely disappointing. read more

This was a cute place close to home to check out. We brought our 8 month old to see some of the animals, and we wound up having to carry him in a baby carrier because it would be really difficult to push the stroller on gravel- although we did see other people doing that. There are also lots of bees for some reason, just fyi. We were able to check out some goats, a small pony, a cow, some camels, a big turtle, couple of kangaroos, and some really cute deer that you can also pet. The playground was really full but it was cute that they had one for kids that are old enough. read more

This is a hidden gem that we just found out about. Took the kids on Father's Day and they really enjoyed it. The workers were very friendly and there were plenty of animals to enjoy. I'm not an expert but I thought the animals looked well cared for. We stopped to get cash on the way but I noticed they had a sign for credit too. Old Mcdebbie's farm was wonderful! Today was our first time out with our two year old daughter and we all had the best time. They had Easter egg hunts which had candy and prizes inside, tons of animals to feed and pet including a sweet pony that wandered around like a dog, too cute! They really love all of their animals and it shows with how loving the animals are to visiting guests. There are lots of toys for the children to play on and so many activities to keep the whole family entertained. We can't wait to go back soon! read more

this is a wonderful place. Went there for my oldest grandsons birthday and the kids had a blast. Loved the animals, trail walk, pony ride and fishing. Very laid back family fun ! Such an awesome place! I live in Spanaway and never knew about this place until I stumbled upon it online. The people who put this together must know kids very well as it's incredibly creative and everything my little one would love! Worth every penny and more! The musical forest was my favorite! We went the day before Easter and they had an Easter egg hunt we could participate in that was $3/dozen eggs. Some of the prizes included carrots to feed the rabbits, candy or little toys but even cooler than that was the concept that each kid got to find a dozen, no more and there was no fighting over eggs. My son is a year and a half, so it was nice being able to watch him take his time in finding his eggs without getting trampled by other kiddos. The animals look well kept and are friendly. I can't wait to take my son here again and as he grows it will only be more fun. I give this place a million stars for creativity, friendliness and fun! Thank you for a fantastic day! read more
