GREAT First time Experience!!! The Kids Absolutely loves this place--Endless FUN. The staff were super friendly and helpful with the animals. I enjoyed seeing deer, llamas, and rabbits roam freely !! Kids were a little scared ...but a great learning tool. We can't wait to go back to go fishing

Old McDebbie's Farm - BIRTHDAY DONKEYS!

Old McDebbie's Farm

This is such a great place for littles and for adults! It was my family's first visit and it did…read morenot disappoint. They had everything from farm animals (like goats, sheep's, llamas) to exotic animals (like a zebra, kangaroo and a camel), to u-fishing, and to 1/4 mile hike. There really was so many things to do. You could easily spend almost the day there. My husband, 3 year old, and 22 month loved it and all were sad to leave for different reasons. My husband wanted to stay longer because he wanted to fish more, my 3 year old daughter wanted to hug and pet the goats, and my 22 month old son wanted to drive the toddler McLaren car. Unfortunately, it was I who wanted to leave because I had a killer migraine. Suffice to say, we will return on a day where I don't have an all-day migraine so that I have the energy to push my toddler in that car. Parking is plentiful and is free. Restrooms are portapotties. Bring your own lunch and enjoy your time with family!

We were able to ask a bunch of questions about them, learn about their care and feed them some snacks. They were super curious and active, but after their snacks they decided to take a nap, which same We also loved feeding the cow, capybaras and porcupines. The staff shared lots of educational facts about the animals which was really awesome. I had the best time and look forward to going back again!

This is a weird place. It's half arcade, half petting zoo…read more They have some exotic animals that you can't find elsewhere. It is a cool experience and my kids loved it. That said, the animals don't seem well cared for. The whole place is dirty and stinky - more than you would expect for a petting zoo. There was poop in the water troughs, many of the pens seemed too small, and some of the animals looked like they needed better care. The whole place felt off...when you know, you know. Because of that, we won't return even though my kids would love to. I prefer to go to a genuine zoo or farm where the animals have more space, fresh air, and proper attention. If you are interested in the private capybara experience - I would save your money. They have capybaras just roaming in the petting zoo so you can spend time with them that way instead. The private time was not worth the extra cost.

We went to Northwest Trek for Mother's Day this year because my husband requested to go since he's…read moresomehow never been, even after living in Washington for around 20 years I also hadn't been back since elementary school, so it felt like a really fun thing to do together. We booked the Keeper Adventure Tour, and honestly, I cannot recommend it enough. Our guide was Brandon, and he was absolutely fabulous. You can immediately tell he genuinely loves his job and deeply cares about the animals he works with. The passion he has really shines through, and he made the entire experience feel incredibly personal and special. One of the best parts of the Keeper Adventure Tour was how small and intimate it felt compared to the regular tram or driving tours. We were able to stop for extended periods of time, ask tons of questions, and really take our time observing the animals instead of being quickly moved along. We got some amazing close-up photos and learned a lot throughout the tour. The highlight for me was definitely the new baby bison He is TINY right now and so adorable. We were able to park nearby and just quietly observe him for several minutes, which was such a cool experience. Brandon gave us so much information about the animals and was incredibly engaging the entire time. Also, for anyone who struggles with motion sickness like I do -- this tour did NOT make me sick at all. And trust me, my motion sickness is BAD. I usually have issues with everything. I didn't even take medication beforehand and never felt queasy once. The pace is slow and smooth for most of the tour, so I figured I'd mention that because I know I can't be the only one who worries about that stuff. After the tour, we walked through the main park area and had a great time there too. The only animals we didn't get to see were the wolverines and the otters, which was a little disappointing, but we were able to see everything else really well. Surprisingly, the park also wasn't very crowded when we went, even though it was a Sunday afternoon. We did eat at the café inside the park. I'll be honest -- it is pretty overpriced for what you get, and the service there wasn't nearly as warm as the rest of our experience. The food was okay, but for around $20+, it felt a little steep. That said, it definitely didn't ruin the day for us. Overall, this was such a fun experience, and we'll absolutely come back again in the future. If we do the Keeper Adventure Tour again, I would specifically request Brandon because he truly made the experience exceptional. Also... they have BISON, not buffalo Please put some respect on the bison name lol

Park can be great occasionally, but sometimes it's not worth the hassle of going, even as a member…read more Animals are often hidden or put up, the food is very much over priced for quality, and there is often kids going crazy, running through the park or playground without supervision. I've also had numerous occasions where a quick chat with staff seems to be a good venting time for them. Hearing from staff on multiple occasions about how horrible the day is going and "not paid enough to care" is not a great conversation to keep members coming back. Finally, the playground area. I watch my children as they play on the playground, but there is a section that I have to remind my children to stay away from each time. I often see other small children running near this area and almost fall each time. It is the twisted ladder that extends to the top of the rock wall from the ground level. It has a large opening in the top with no barrier for accidental falls. Even watching my children while they play, I still get nervous of this section as it only takes one wrong move for them to be falling out of this gap. The playground seems accepting of children of all ages but in reality, it mainly caters to smaller young kids. This section should be removed or at least add an additional barrier to prevent any future accidents.
