What a fun time! The kids got introduced to miniature horses and ponies. They learned how to approach them, lead them, brush them, and take them through obstacles . A wonderful experience. You can tell the owners are very knowledgeable and love their animals. We can't wait to go again soon!

    A lovely, laidback ranch

I've been a lesson student at Rusty Bar for a few years now and I just adore her teaching methods! I had rode English hunter/jumper but was looking for a western instructor. I was excited to hear Kathy (the horse trainer / riding instructor) grew up riding hunt seat and that she sometimes shows. (I wanted to learn to Barrel race!) She is certified both English and Western and teaches from the ground up. (First trainer I've ever met who dose that!) So all her students learn ground work, equine saftey, and how to tack up. All her schooling horses are bombproff and are the most well trained horses in all of Washington. I've seen car alarms go off and her horse (Ally) was the only one to NOT spook! Haha!!! She has gaming horses, dressage, hunter/jumpers, pretty much anything. She also teaches how to ride with YOUR SET AND LEG!!!!!!!! She can teach you (or your horse) anything from ground manners to trail riding to show etiquette. She's an amazing trainer and instructor who really is passionate about her horses and bettering the bond between horse and rider. Also her husband, Ray and her hoast Birthday Parties and Girl/Boy Scout events. I've worked both and I can 100 testify that they're a blast for horse- crazy kids! Birthday parties includ: rodeo races (with stick horses), shake hands with Ghost the mini, cart ride, and pony rides. Scout Events: barn tour, horse anatomy gane, safety walking behind a horse (Non of Kathy's horses have EVER kicked ANYONE!!!), horse safety and learning about different breeds and colors, tacking up and leading horses, grooming, stall cleaning, cart ride, and pony rides.

Is this a good anniversary idea for a nice trail ride?

It can be, if you know how to ride. I am sorry I am unable to accommodate you at this time. Our horses are used for lessons. If you are interested in learning to ride, and then going on a trail ride at a later date, I can certainly help you… Read more

We planned on 50 people and she provided enough food to feed all of the personnel at JBLM. OK, that may be a slight exaggeration but there was sooooooo much food no one went hungry and there was plenty for people to take leftovers home. My wife and I are mexican food connoisseurs and I'm telling you, Cindy's taco bar with all the fixins was some of the best we've ever had. In addition to the amazing food, Cindy's set up and clean up were also amazing. We didn't do anything except enjoy the party! Thank you so very much Cindy!!!

Do you have a big event coming up, like a baby or wedding shower, birthday party, retirement party, etc.? Do you not feel like making the food yourself or doing a potluck with your family who can barely make toast? Still want that home-cooked taste, attention to detail and display that To Go doesn't offer? Look no further than Cindy's business! (*edit to add, my family CAN cook... sorry mom) While planning my daughter's 1st birthday party, I had lots on my mind. I realized I did not want to organize and cook all the food while trying to clean AND decorate. Yelp and Cindy's Kitchen reviews to the rescue....! Cost was extremely reasonable. She took my order over the phone, and payment was simple through app/invoice sent to email. Even better, Cindy delivered all the food right on time, set up, and picked up her platters afterward! We ordered the turkey & ham sliders, veggie pizza, mac & cheese, and Italian pasta salad. ALL delicious, plentiful portions (many took home leftovers!) and what a great menu to choose from. When Cindy is rich and famous, I hope she remembers the little people like me who appreciated her talent way back when. :)

The waitress that sat us was a local girl from HI with a beautiful smile and so we already knew we were in good hands. The menu had both breakfast and lunch options, enough items to satisfy every family member's taste. And the portions are huge. Sister 2 ordered three tacos that she said was just ok. She also ordered the blueberry cheesecake pancake that was pretty good. Sister 2 ordered chicken and waffles. That was a high piece of chicken. This was pretty good. I ordered the American omelette that I thought was pretty good. Unfortunately, no rice. Potatoes were well seasoned. I normally don't finish my wheat toast it the jam was really good and so I was able to eat enjoy both slices of toast. Items are reasonably priced. And yes, I would come back in the future.

Shelly offered to call me and talk things through, offering creative ways for us to be able to save on spending; paying in cash to reduce card fees, reducing staff by using disposable plates, moving to one protein, etc. We didn't end up needing to do most of these things, but regardless, she indicated she was on our team and would do whatever she could to help us. She was beyond patient with me and kind the whole way through as I went back and forth on what to do. I had endless questions for weeks before booking. On wedding day, everything went off without a hitch. Her team showed up in professional attire, were kind, respectful, and prompt. They were so sweet and kept telling us how beautiful everything was and how grateful they were to be there. The food was SO GOOD. So good in fact we put the leftover scalloped potatoes, prime rib, and artichoke chicken straight in the freezer on wedding night and are just about to run out. It is still just as good now reheated in the oven! And the desserts went QUICK. If I could change anything, I would have ordered extra. We have too many sweet lovers in the family!

As more of my friends have crossed this age milestone, I've seen the full spectrum of responses: people who downplay it and later wish they'd done something special, people who throw huge parties and regret the stress and effort, and people who choose extreme adventures only to find the adrenaline crash leaves them feeling depleted afterward, bringing '50' home in a hard way. This struck exactly the right balance. It was special enough to feel like a true celebration, offered a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and created memories (and amazing photos) I'll carry with me for years. While it's certainly not inexpensive, once you see the amount of equipment, preparation, effort, infrastructure, expertise, and care that goes into each flight, the pricing feels more than reasonable. It's a significant experience without being financially out of reach. If you're looking for a memorable way to celebrate a milestone event--or simply want an extraordinary experience--I highly recommend it.

Somehow the taco bar for $13 per person comes out to nearly $4k for 100 people. When I called inquiring about what menu options we were interested in, I made it very clear which ones we wanted and emailed the information as well. It took over a week to receive the quotes, the quotes did not include everything that had been requested. Not to mention, the service charge for each quote was nearly as much as the food itself. I'm all of paying for services and their time, but the quote had the service time until 12am which why in the world would a caterer need to stay that late at a wedding? When I asked questions and inquired about receiving an updated quote, the owner responded in email with "I'm heading out of the office for the day, but will get back to you tomorrow." We never heard from her again. I was skeptical about this catering company to begin with as they had pretty questionable reviews, but after the experience we had, I am really glad we booked elsewhere. I gave them two stars and not one because I never actually tried their food.
