We thought Bento was an aggressive dog, but Jamie said he was just reactionary so he was willing to train him. We have been working with Jamie for over five months, and we love his teaching methods. He is very skilled and provides us (the humans) with individual instructions on how to improve our dog and our own reactions to him. We have been dedicated to getting Bento to be less reactive and he is doing much better. We have walked the mall three times; once with a group of his dogs and twice with just Jamie. Jamie has an excellent assistant instructor when he needs him to be available. We are now working on agility training, which our dog loves. We love Jamie and will continue to have him train our dog for as long as we can.

They say they eed the dogs at 7 , when i picked up my dog they told me he already had dinner and i was there at 3 ? I was told i could drop him off at 7 and no one was there so idk how they feed the dogs at 7 , it probably more like 8am and 2pm feeding schedule idk olay whatever, so they go to get my dog so we could go home and he is soaking wet , yeah it was raining i get it but did he have somewhere to get out the rain , I've known my dog for 9 years and he wont go off the porch if its raining lol so there is that , and with the daily reports they say he was friendly and wanted loves and cuddles and petting lmao . For 9 years he dont ever want cuddles or pets , hes a fetch driven dog 24hr a day i highly doubt, he wanna love and cuddles and pets. It was horrendous coughing and coughing up phleg. I had to take them both to an emergency vet clinic because my regular vet had no openings. Yes, they had Kennel cough and they needed two prescriptions each. This vet visit was more than the dogs visit at the kennel. I called the kennel and reported my dogs were sick, and in a voice that didn't sound to sorry, told me we're sorry and no other dogs have been sick. My dogs are in a fenced acre yard and were near no other dogs. This kennel has lost my business.

Ziva is definitely "high drive", very smart and yet super loving. At 7 months she already knows all her basic commands. Needless to say the puppy never saw maturity as he had to be put down after only 24 months. He had Mega-Esophagus disease. This was diagnosed by the last vet that saw him and told us the Mega-Esophagus is a genetic trait pasted down from either male or female. We approached Jean Schrader with this information and she presented us with the puppy contract that is written in very grey verbiage that even a lawyer doesn't understand. She also told us this was nothing she did and she had never heard of such a problem and then told us we had to have caused this. Basically slamming the door in our face. With this in mind I hope that anyone that is looking for a German Shepherd or whatever Jean is selling keeps looking. She cannot be trusted and her staff cannot be trusted. Do not buy ANYTHING from Schraderhaus K9. You will regret it not only emotional but financially also. I have already contacted AKC, ASPCA and any other agency that will get involved with this to shut Schraderhaus K9 down. No one or animal needs to go through this ever again. Unfortunately a lot of trainers use aversives, especially with large strong dogs. We were so excited to find Julia, and after our meet & greet we were confident she was a good choice. Julia did a 2 week board & train with our dog while we were traveling, mainly focusing on leash skills and practicing calm behavior around exciting things. We noticed an immediate improvement, but have also been continuing to work on the training at home after our follow up.
