If you like Chuck E Cheese you'll like this place. Better fitted for older toddlers/kids. 4.5y/o did great, 18mo old needed complete assistance navigating through play scape. There is a playroom for little ones, but our little wasn't interested in it at all. Since there is food allowed in viewing area it was a bit messy. $1-$2 priced higher then other indoor play places plus parents pay as well. You do get unlimited play time. Entry/exit is the same location & was a crowded/chaotic during peak time. read more

For the price one of the best places to take children. I feel they have added as they have went and made the place more accommodating. I love how the place promotes parents interacting with their children. read more

This place is well kept and clean and love all the comfy chairs for the adults! I miss a place like this in Dallas..still searching for one!

As a mom who really appreciates REAL FOOD to feed my family I must say I am so impressed with this place. First of all the playscape is clean and great for tiring kids out. Second, they have one of the best security solutions for kids and parents (invisible code stamped on your party's arms to ensure kids leave with the right adult). Third, the food. It really caught me off guard how high quality it is, the food is fresh made from scratch and tastes amazing. This is not chuck e cheese bs. Also the soda fountain offers organic options.... whaaaat??? The seating areas for parents is comfy and plentiful. There is a game area as well. Plus a baby area with nursing rooms for moms. Hand sanitizer stations are strategically placed around the food area. The price is great, $25 for 2 kids to play ALL DAY? Yes please! There is WiFi so you can work while kids play. No loud music so for a kids place it's not loud and obnoxious and kind of serene if you scroll on ig while the kiddos play. Very well thought out local business that I totally support and drive 30 min to regularly. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. They do party options as well. Highly recommended. read more

I liked the place. But need to be careful. Positive: - Indoors so can go all year round and in any weather. - Fees: not to expensive especially is you one toddler - Indoors but not claustrophobic. Enough space for toddler to run around. - Toddler area. - Day pass: so you just pay fee for all day and can come and go as you please. Negative: - Rules are not enforced. People walk all over with shoes. Specially in toddler are on the foam mats where toddler are crawling, people just walk all over with shoes, getting their dirt all over. yikes! - Not very clean, Food and dirty plates cups just sitting there. Pop corn all over the floor and no one seems to be around to clean it. - Toddler room could have more toys as when it get a little busy, toys are not enough to go around. - Needs a little better monitoring by staff and parents. Kids just run wild. So if you have a toddler or young delicate kid be careful that they are not run over by kids running wild. - Most parents seem to be busy with their gadgets or day dreaming while their kids go wild. Bit rude culture. Cant comment: - Restroom: havent used it yet so cant say. read more

If anyone remembers discovery zone it's just like that. There are so many teens working there not once did I see a manager. The teens working there were being teens chatting with one another ignoring us when we went to cash in our tickets. (Result of no manager insight) And their soda machine or ice machine, couldn't figure out which one, tasted GROSS. Like it hadn't been cleaned out gross. If you have a germ phobia this place is not for you. 3 stars bc there's no other place like it in Austin. read more

Here again .... At the persistence of my son. I can tell you there are not nearly as many whales over running the place but it is a weekday.... The staff seem to be more attentive. I wanted to have a small birthday celebration for my son, which would include a total of three adults and three children. I looked on the website under the Birthday Parties section and saw the smallest package was too expensive and was for a larger group than we had planned, so that was out. The website said no outside food or drink, but they served pizza so that was okay. We showed up with my son and his few presents and they wouldn't let us bring the presents in! They said "No outside presents are allowed." That is ridiculous. I told the girl behind the counter that the policy wasn't on their website and she assured me it was. We decided to leave the presents in the car and go ahead and let my son play, since his heart had been set on this for weeks. While my kids played, I looked on their website and the policy IS NOT on their birthday party section - you know, where it would make sense. Instead it says on the FAQ page: "As of May 1st 2015, this is no longer allowed. This is being done in consideration of our other guests, who often cannot find seating in the dining area on busy days due to a large number of our tables being claimed by these parties for long periods of time with nobody sitting at them." I'm calling shenanigans. 1. Why would I read the FAQ section when I've already read the birthday party section? They really need to move that stupid rule over to the section where it is actually relevant. 2. There was PLENTY of seating available in the dining area at 1pm on Saturday. 3. The rule does NOT say "No outside presents." The kids had fun (though there aren't a lot of arcade games that are 4-5 year old friendly) and we ended up having pizza (which was surprisingly decent) then opening presents on the bench outside the front door before my son's friends left. So that part definitely was a huge detraction in an otherwise fun event. I was so disappointed in how unaccommodating they were to us. They could have just politely asked us not to linger at the tables. Though, seriously, don't put tables out if you don't want people to linger at them. read more

I wanted to thank David the manager. He reminded me that there are people that truly care about the needs of others. Thank you David!

I've only been here twice, but loved it both times. The temperature controlled environment is def for me especially in a state like Texas. My kids love it here and always leave happy and worn out. And as a busy, tired, single mama of 3 it's wonderful to be able to let my kids run around in an enclosed environment. I also want to commend the staff! Took my kids the other day and I was that pain in the a$$ parent asking a million questions about the food we were ordering and repeatedly going back up to ask for more condiments and other such nonsense. The two young ladies behind the counter weren't phased by it at all. They were friendly, helpful, engaging, and completely sincere. And might I add, the food is pretty darn good! If you're a mom/parent like me looking for a place to let your kiddos run their energy out, get a ton of exercise, sit back and watch your kiddos enjoy themselves, not suffer in this insane heat, and maybe enjoy an Icee like you did when you were a kid then this place is for you! read more

Just returned from our first visit to the long-anticipated Mt. Playmore with my almost 4 yr old. We had a great time. I was wearing my 5 month old so didn't get to climb in the playscape with my boy but it's great to have the option so that when your kid is a little intimidated by the size of the playscape and number of kids, you can do more than just encourage him to get out there. I loved that the entire structure is soft and padded and that the enclosed winding aspect prevents the older kids from getting too fast around the smaller kids. The playscape is the highlight so while it is a bit of a disappointment that the arcade had a lot of old and non-working games, my kid didn't care. Hopefully over time they can make the necessary improvements. I thought the food was fine for this type of place. I got a chicken Caesar salad and a small cheese pizza for my son. I appreciated that the chicken was grilled and not the typical refrigerated chicken that yucky "old" flavor that I expected for a venue like this. The cheese pizza was pleasantly non-greasy save for the cheese, which is as it should be. Prices are a little higher but that's on par with concessions and it's nowhere close to the exorbitant prices at a movie theater. Some factors have been addressed by other reviewers, such as the underwhelming toddler area and lack of lockers which would free up the tables. Some people seem put off by the second-hand nature of the tables and chairs. Honestly, I did notice but I considered it a plus that at least from an environmental standpoint, they were reusing furniture in perfectly good condition. I think many folks are overly accustomed to the deep pockets of corporate chain affairs and have no idea what amount of money it takes to open up a place of this size. Cut them some slack. Would you rather they not open? How about if they had skimped on the playscape in order to provide a nicer chair? . I'm happy that they are providing an indoor play option for us that gives parent space to breath and a fun playscape that's not too far from home. Kids are not so prissy so why should the parents be? As far as the repugnance at the numbers of fat people that one reviewer felt compelled to mention, I witnessed no one bumping into anyone save for the typical oblivious folks yakking on their cellphones (and she was skinny). If bitchy people like the fatty-hater are turned off then THAT is a selling point because it means they'll stay away. The vast majority of people I saw were laid back and happy to see their kids enjoying the place without having to feel like we were on top of each other. If you need more that that, go elsewhere. read more

Took my three kids, 7,5, and 3, here on a Sunday afternoon. It was one of those blistering central TX summer days- 100 degrees outside. Read some of the reviews and decided to try anyway. This place was fun. Yes it was a little pricey but compared to other places, you can stay as long as you wanted. There are couches and chairs to keep an eye on children. My kids loved it and that is what counts. They played for about 2.5 hours and never let up. there is an arcade, which we didn't play in. There were also an Anna and Elsa to take a picture with for a tip as well as a balloon artist- again working for tips. This day they had a reptile guy with snakes to show the kids and stuff (my 7 year old loved it). Ate some pizza and fries at the snack bar and surpringly wasn't too bad- I mean it's not home slice, but its better than other snack bar pizza I've had. We also got sodas and you can get as many refills as you want. We live about an hour away, but come to Austin at least once to twice a month. We will definitely come back here. Recommend! read more

It must be seen to be believed. When kids walk in and see it for the first time their jaws drop. We had guests with kids from out of town and we ended up going every day they were here. A great way to have fun and get some exercise especially in our TX heat. Kudos to the owners for creating this magnificent indoor playground. read more

We came here with my nephews (party of 8) who are visiting me. I had a small birthday cake (literally a small bundt cake). They said we couldn't bring in the cake. So I had to leave my 8 year old visiting nephew's birthday cake behind. Never mind that the website says you can bring in cakes when ordering food. I was about to drop money on 8 people to eat drink & play. They would not make any exception. Mind you, this was a Wednesday & the place was practically empty (maybe 20 people). But hey rules! So now, we didn't buy any food, just let the kids get their fun out & went someplace to spend $&&$ on food and drink for all the adults. Oh & the require socks, and conveniently were willing to sell us some, yet half the kids running around are barefoot. Never again! read more

Came here on a Tuesday with my 3 grandkids. One is too young for much but the 3 and 4 year old had a blast. They ran and played and burned off a ton of energy. I had a Groupon so it didn't cost to get in this visit but prices seem very reasonable. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Several girls stopped to chat and play with the baby, the boy at the food counter was polite and helpful and one nice lady took it upon herself to entertain the boys while I was waiting on lunch. Great experience! It probably helped that it was a Tuesday with few people around. read more

I thought this place was great. Of course it was crazy, noisy, and chaotic, but that's expected. All of the kids looked like they were having a great time. The playscape is huge and kids of various ages are able to enjoy it. They also have an arcade and food that the kids I was with said was actually "pretty good". They didn't want to leave. In fact, they played so hard they all worked up a sweat. As an adult, one thing I loved was the comfortable couch seating in the middle of the playscape for the adults. You can be close to your kid as they play but still sit in comfort. There is plenty of seating. They also stamp your entire party with an invisible number, and they ensure all numbers in your party match before they let you leave. Overall, I enjoyed myself and I definitely recommend this place. read more

I work for a pediatric clinic, and I was looking for a place parents could go with their small children for a fun filled family day, and this place definitely delivers. Not only do they have an amazing and huge playscape area, but they also have a pretty large and separate toddler area. The playscape and toddler area are large enough for parents to also join in on the fun. The staff is super helpful and friendly, and they went above and beyond to help accommodate my clients. I was so grateful to Jessyca and Brie for helping me out, and providing my clients with day passes. My clients were so happy and excited to take their kids. I highly recommend spending a day here, and the price is so affordable. Toddlers under the age of 2 get in free, and parents only pay $1.50. They have a concession stand and an arcade so when you get tired of running around you can take a break and get some food and drinks. This place is just awesome! read more

Brought our 15 month old twins to Mt Playmore a couple of weekends ago and really enjoyed what they had to offer. While our boys were too young to do anything other than the toddler play area due to so many kids being there I have to admit it was worth the price of admission for my wife and I. I was skeptical going in, but our boys had a blast. There is a ton for them to play with and the toddler area was not that crazy, which is what we were worried about. They have cars, bounce toys, puzzles, jungle gym with padded slide as well as a miniature rolex coaster. The roller coaster was their favorite and we must have pushed them both down it a 100 times. Best part is the kids under 2 are free and we only had to pay $1 per adult. Truly a great way to kill a couple hours and they had so much fun they passed out on the car ride home. We will definitely be back to Mt Playmore in the near future. Word of warning bring some water with you as it gets really hot very quickly, but other than that it was nice. Can't comment on anything g other than the toddler area. I will try and update my review after our next visit maybe on a weekday so they can try some of the other activities. read more

I went there with my girls (2 yrs and 4 yrs old) they loved it! I was able to go in with them and play "chase". They also have a toddler section for younger kiddos. They totally hit the nail on the head, having a restaurant inside! We ordered burgers and pizza which were both awesome, staff was super friendly and accommodating when I asked for a changing station for my daughter. I love that there's finally a place where your kids can run and play alongside their parents instead of us just having to watch them from afar! Will definitely be going back with my fellow moms and will be looking into a birthday party package for my girls after I heard the prices were super reasonable! Totally recommend this place but wear comfy clothes bc you're going to be sweating within 5 minutes!! :) read more

Rated one star because as a family with children we enjoy several aspects of this place but as a family with children with disabilities we no longer feel welcomed here after being asked to leave. When I heard about this place I was very excited about it, it sounded wonderful, and the designs they had put up for the playscape were incredible. It sounded like the most sensory friendly place for children to play. As a family with three children on the autism spectrum it's important for us to find places for them to play safely that they will enjoy and get the sensory integration and activity they need, and this place seemed perfect for that. Not only would the kids get to play but we would be able to be with them in the playset to encourage appropriate play and redirect any stimming or inappropriate behaviors as well as prompt social interactions between peers. We signed up for an annual pass immediately before they were even officially open because we were confident in our investment. When the time came we attended their grand opening and the kids loved it, it was difficult to keep them in the play area but they quickly got the gist of it, there were a few kinks here and there with the staff and layout but it was their first day, what worried me the most was their mechanical doors and the fact that there was no gate and no security measures but by the next time we went they had a gate up and were stamping numbers and had plenty of staff monitoring the entrance, I though it was a great addition and things could only get better. On our third time being there, the word had definitely gotten out because it was very busy that day. I hadn't realized that they had no door or security measures in the kitchen, so when my little brother went to get a drink of water he wandered into the kitchen unattended, and added this to his routine when getting water, it was a repetitive behavior, he was stimming and going into the kitchen after every drink of water. When I realized what was happening I tried my best to keep him out of the kitchen but the task proved to be difficult when there was no door, or barrier or staff making sure the kitchen was secured. Eventually a female blonde staff member approached me (maybe a manage or co-owner, I'm not sure they had a polo rather than a staff tee) and told us that if it happened again, for safety reasons, we were going to be asked to leave. I was upset because I hadn't realize how unsafe this place was for my siblings not only is the kitchen open so is some kind a storage behind the arcade which looks like it'd be very dangerous for a child if they were to wander in there. I definitely understand keeping a look out for your own children but with a place such as this where is it bound to get very busy and have several children running every which way I am disappointed it isn't as secured as it should be for children of all ages and abilities. I've never written a review before but when I heard this place was going to be hosting an event for children with Autism I felt like I needed to warn parents that this place is not very Autism-friendly specially if your child is a runner. We know our kiddos, we know they will find ways to run from places that are safe, and as parents who have dealt with this before we now how dangerous this can be. Please be aware that there are two open passages that are not blocked or monitored in any way that your child can enter and get easily injured in. Also be aware that you will not receive any patience from the Staff and will be asked to leave. While it's exciting that a place like this would consider opening events for children with autism and having their first one just this month (in 8 days to be exact) they don't seem like they've taken the time to understand children with Autism and developmental disabilities and the security measures that should be taken when hosting an event like the one they're planning. I will seriously consider emailing them soon to inquire about a refund for our annual pass, I just don't feel very welcomed here after being asked to leave for an incident that could have easily been avoided if only they added a door or two or had more attentive staff. read more

My son went to a birthday party here and loved it. He is only 2 so I had to go with him in the play structure. Talk about a workout lol! I have cerebral palsy and have difficulty walking. I wear shoes with a lift to help balance. Yesterday, while sitting, watching my children play in the toddler area, I was approached by two employees separately who asked me to remove my shoes. I explained that I was disabled and I needed my shoes to help keep me from falling. I was told that was fine. A few minutes later a manager confronted me with "what's the problem here". I Literally thought that there may be a problem and that maybe there was approaching the wrong customer. I responded, there wasn't a problem and he said " with your shoes" We explained we had told them we had already explained To two separate employees that I was disabled. We explained our situation again and that there were other people in the same room still with their shoes on, but he wasn't approaching them three times. He even looked another person who had her flip-flops on and said nothing to her. We told him it was clear that I was being singled out even after telling all who asked that I was disabled. At this point he asked us to leave or he would call the cops. We did leave but are Outraged and expect an apology from Mt. Playmore owners. We will be contacting a lawyer, as this was clear discrimination read more

I wanted to try this place out for a while. Their website said there was a reptile show at 11am, so I thought that would make the experience worthwhile. This place is ok, but way overpriced. As a friend mentioned, it's like Chuck-e-cheese but with a $10 cover fee (per child). I don't like that -- after paying the entry fee -- I am greeted by machines that you have to pay extra for. My kids nagged me the entire time to ride them and I was not spending more money on this place! And... they changed the time for the reptile show to 6pm. I was not happy with the experience here and will not be back. read more

The advertising coupon was the first attraction to this place, once arrived was not quite what I had expected from its advertising , i was expecting way more compared to other similar attractions or the competition , Food was good not great , it actually makes this place just a bit better , the constant overhead announcement makes this place seem very cheap, similar to a prison yard announcement ( not that I have gone ) announcing pizza time or birthday time so on .. Theirs a huge parent lounge area which should be converted to a kids play area ( waste of space ) , parents conveniently watch there kids while web surfing their phones. Huge let down for what could be a great place for kids, just needed to reconfigured and redesigned . Till then go to a park or check it out yourself . read more

Not a huge fan of this place... I think I'd prefer an outdoor park. Of course I'm not a kid and my kid liked it.. But he'd like an outdoor park just as much. Since it has opened I've taken my 6year old daughter a lot ! She loves it ! Great place to go when it's raining outside !

I'd probably give this place four or five starts if it was based solely on the amount of fun had - it's obvious the kids there are having a lot of fun running around. However, it's not worth the chaos on a weekend and it's especially not worth the germs your kids will pick up while there. I know all kid places are going to have germs, but I like to assume they get cleaned regularly to keep the germs to a minimum. The toddler/baby area at Mt. Playmore was disgusting and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was visible dirt and grime on the floor and the toys. My kids both woke up with pink eye the morning after their visit and I'd put money on the fact that they got it in the toddler/baby area at Mt. Playmore. The big kid play area didn't look especially filthy, but it did smell bad, and I'm guessing it doesn't get cleaned too well if the baby area doesn't. read more

They do not have it together. Maybe it's because they just opened. Their hostesses are extremely rude and they all have this ghettoness about them. I know that's not a word but it's the best way I can describe it. Anyways save your money for now. Go check them out in about 6 months. Maybe they will have their blank together. The building inside could be a lot better. It felt run down. Which is no place to have a birthday party! read more

I will have to say this place is awesome on a hot or cold rainy day. We came on a Saturday and a bit overwhelmed with all the activity but embraced it quickly. My 2 and 4 year old loved it so much we returned the following Wednesday. It was nice to see that when the signs stating to forgive the mess due to improvements being made, they weren't lying. Saturday the family bathroom was not completely tiled but in working order. On Wednesday, the bathroom was completely tiled just needing some baseboard work. The 3 and under playroom was tiled or laminate flooring on Saturday and completely carpeted on Wednesday. Wow! On top of that, my chicken Caesar salad was a good portion for what I paid and water cups are available for the children in addition to the water fountain. I liked that since my children love water and I get grossed out at water fountains. Thank you so much for making it fun and safe!! BTW, the staff was super friendly, helpful and professional. Not once did I see dawdling or gabbing amongst them that they were not attentive to the patrons. Great job MtP! read more

Way too expensive. We spent $40 on 3 kids to play for one hour! Most places offer discounts when it gets close to closing time but they still charge full price and the food stand closes early as well. You cannot bring any food or drinks in either even for your own birthday party! The kids do have fun but its way too over priced for what they have and how overcrowded it gets. Sometimes the kids don't have much room to even move around. Id say go to a regular park where its free or to a restaurant with a playground. read more

The reason for my rating is the fact that adults, not just those going with their little children, are allowed. Four grown up men came in--two young adults and two older adults. I would not have minded their playing in the arcade section, but they played in the gym like little children. They were big and rough men. Children were scared or them, but when I asked the attendant she said that if and adult pays $1.50 he can go in and play in the children section and they cannot do anything about it. I wish I had known that before going in--BECAUSE IF I HAD, I WOULD NOT HAVE TAKEN MY CHILDREN THERE. It was very uncomfortable and awkward. read more
