They keep it super clean in here! That's probably my favorite part. Everyone who has done my manis and pedis has always done a quality job. They seem to last a good amount of time. The massage chairs are lovely. I don't love places with TVs and especially any news channels but I get that lots of people do enjoy that so I just close my eyes, relax and enjoy the treatment. They push for cash pay (like most southern CA nail businesses) and will charge minimum $2 or 3.5% for using a card. Some of the ideas I bring in seem impossible and she still makes them happen every time. The salon is smaller, which I honestly prefer because it feels more relaxed and personal. My best friend and I both come here together and they always accommodate us. One thing I really appreciate is that they do pedicures and manicures at the same time, which has been surprisingly hard to find lately. Pricing is fair/comparable with other salons. Some other salons in La Mesa are overpriced, but their pricing here is fair. I have had Diem & Lisa two or three times, and they are great and do an awesome job. I like that they have you check your nails after doing the first one to make sure you like that as sometimes, I'm reading my book and not always paying attention, so at other nail salons, by the time I look up, they are almost done, so I feel bad about speaking up. I love to use Dazzle Dry polishes because they are non-toxic, last as long as gel without needing a UV to cure, and come off with regular nail polish unlike gel. However, almost no salons carry the polishes, and in order for them to work, you have to use all the right polishes in the correct order, so I have always been reluctant to bring them to a salon to use. I brought my Dazzle Dry system, and Diem used it perfectly, and it turned out great! I'm not sure why there are some negative reviews here because I have been many times and really like it! I would definitely recommend it!
