Mark M.

Picked up a regular coffee ($3.99) from the coffee robot machine. It tasted really good with a nutty flavor. It takes just a few minutes for the machine to process and hand over.

Quarter cup of coffee, in lieu of Late

I requested a Late with Almond Milk, I got a quarter cup of coffee. I expect a refund.

Disappointing cappucino. Basic and average at best. Skip this, maybe take a nap instead.

Ordered a vanilla latte and it forgot the espresso. Was served iced vanilla milk. Same thing happened to the customer behind me.

As a big fan of Radio's original location, I've been excited to have a new Radio in SE Austin. True…read moreto form, this location is beautifully done with plenty of outdoor seating and *parking*, both an outdoor and indoor stage, and lush native landscaping throughout. Warning to those visiting around dusk in summer: during my last visit we were eaten alive by mosquitos. Other than that, love Radio. This location has three food trucks including one of my favorites, Shortwave Diner. Their smashburger and Reuben sandwiches with homemade fries are delicious. Radio also offers an amazing happy hour from 4 pm to close every Monday through Thursday. The hibiscus mojito is the perfect summer treat. This location has a great trivia on Tuesday nights too. I recommend it!

Most recently, I tried the Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Chai Latte, and the Berry Crisp Latte. What I was hoping for were robust, unique, signature flavors, but left unsatiated, wanting better coffee/tea elsewhere. In addition to the diluted iced drinks, another common theme you'll find is an unproportionally large amount of outdoor seats to indoor and challenging parking, and for those who work remote, there's still an ongoing hunger games for outlets. On the plus sides, there are a few food truck options, most notably Veracruz and Wow Poke and occasionally will host a fun event and/or concert. Overall, I really want to love Radio, but the cons make it hard to justify becoming a regular.

I was torn on choosing a crepe I had previously tried, or trying something new entirely. The barista/cashier was super helpful on narrowing down my options, and so I stuck with the Crepe Madame-- can't go wrong with a classic! Absolutely, NOOOOO REGRETS. I will say after just eating one, I WANTED MORE... but that could also be my Texan heart wanting the usual Texan portion size. They also serve a mini salad on the side, and whatever dressing they're using-- SPECTACULAR. If you're curious why the menu has some Vietnamese influence on the menu, you're not mistaken. It's Vietnamese Owned, so maybe get a little adventurous and try out the Saigon Crepe or be bold and order a Cafe Sua Da or Vietnamese Espresso Martini. Atmosphere: WF wherever folks, you'll love this place. Plenty of space & if you need a quaint conference room, you can reserve and pay $20/hour or $150/day.

There is something about a live plant that brings life to a space. The first signage you see when entering the coffee shop is "All plants for sale". No ambiguity...super clear...a part of Palomino's brand! In addition to the plants, the furniture is modern, stylish and minimalist. You could tell the space was being used by remote workers, students and others who enjoyed a visually appealing space. Now for the coffee...I tried a seasonal pumpkin latte. It was flavorful, smooth and nicely balanced. My latte was paired with a bacon, egg and cheese taco from Venizos down the street. Notably, the taco was stuffed with ingredients and the homemade flour tortilla elevated the taste. Also, they serve pastries from Sour Duck, which provides additional choices. In addition, they have a moderate amount seating inside and small amount of covered seating outside.
