Besides prepared foods, they have other Filipino items for sale here and some are even imported from the Philippines. So I got my Lechon Kawali, it was a big block and they chopped it for me. When I called, the person who answered confirmed the hot chocolate had been left behind. I was told they couldn't refund my card but that I could stop by later or the next day to get my money back. I agreed. The next day, when I returned, two female employees were kind and willing to reimburse me. However, a male cook came to the front and spoke to me in a nasty, disrespectful, and aggressive manner, claiming I had already received the drink and that nothing should be given since it was from the previous day. His tone was unnecessary and made me feel intimidated, especially since he was holding a kitchen tool. One of the employees even offered to pay me out of her own pocket, which I refused. I didn't want her money -- I just wanted the missing item. Thankfully, another employee handled it honestly and gave me the hot chocolate. Mistakes happen, but how staff treat customers matters. I hope management addresses this behavior, because loyal customers shouldn't be treated this way.
