Huge big kids structure with slack line.

Excellent new playground --newest equipment I have seen in BK. Two huge play structures and two swing sets (one for little kids, one for big kids). Also has some water features and plenty of benches for adults. Also has a farmers market Sunday mornings and lots of great coffee shops in the area, making it a great weekend des

Very nice park! I didn't even know this park is exiting. There are three park in my neighborhood and I found this park is so interesting and beautiful. I brought my puppy to the dog run and another dog owner is very friendly. I think I will bring my puppy to this park everyday now.

McGorlick Dog Park is located at the south end of the charming park. Small and large dogs share the space equally and both have abundant room to run and stretch their furry legs. Every first Saturday of the month, a smushed-face dog meetup for pugs, Boston terriers, French bulldogs, and bulldogs fills the part with sniffles and snorts for about an hour between 10-11am. Most other days you'll find no less than 10 pooches and their owners laughing getting to know one another. Greenpoint, in general, is charming, but the dog park creates a special community within the community.

Decent spot with a nice majestic structure in the center, but see no reason to return.

Beautiful park in Greenpoint. Love just walking here with my dog. Dog run is pretty big and fun for dogs to run around and play.

I personally prefer it over McCarren just because the other dog owners here are so friendly and it's much easier to find parking around here.

Looked more like a museum or some nice walkway to enjoy sightseeing of the Williamsburg bridge and the lower east side views of Manhattan, which is not that spectacular in my opinion because there are too many government buildings in that section so it's all brown over on the Manhattan side. Oh wells. Other than that, I'm shocked to see nice bathrooms a block away from the park for Domino Park guests! The bathrooms were really nice and modern! Each bathroom had dimmed lighting with a baby diaper changing station. One of the bathrooms was dirty with pee on the floor so I had to go to another one. Did not expect these nice bathrooms to get dirty like that! There were more bathrooms downstairs besides the ones on the first floor. The door to the bathrooms was very nice too! What a great job they did to this park. I cannot believe the Domino sugar factory still exists or is standing because I used to take the train and they be doing construction for many years for I don't know what reason. Looked like they turn downstairs into this nice modern park. So I went to the park to go to a Target pop up and got some nice freebies. There was enough space for pop ups and large crowds. Need to check out the rest of the park next time I'm here. Too bad there is no subway or trains going to this park and you need to resort to buses that take forever to arrive.

Thus, I decided to continue my exploration of Greenpoint, Brooklyn and decided on another gorgeous fall day, a park visit was on the top of my list. Here's what Transmitter Park offers you and ME: ( Note how it hits all my checkpoints above): - Accessible by G train and stop is Greenpoint, exit subway from Greenpoint NW corner staircase. Take Kent street all the way down. As you walk, take note of the street scene on Manhattan Avenue, what a cool multi ethnic world to take in... - Bit of history; WNYC radio use to program here and then a couple of years later the park became a beautiful open space to the neighborhood ( it's neighbor, Domino park transformed from a Sugar Factory into a smorgasbord for fellow Williamsburgites). Hmmm, Brooklyn knows how to transform dormant property into beautiful public spaces.. YES! - As for Domino Park, it's a thirty minute walk from this park if you're up to two park visits in a day - The " loves me, loves me not" mural as you enter park is breathtaking - There are benches to sit and just calm your mind - A pedestrian bridge allows majestic views of Brooklyn and Manhattan - Greenpoint Terminal Market on Noble Street offers a lively shopping experience.. I didn't check it out this time but I will be sure to next visit - There are wonderful establishments for all taste buds: The Green Pot for tea and lovely snacks, Forninos, my other pizza favorite, Karczma for kielbasa and borscht. Today I ate at Paulie Gees Pizza Slice Shop and took dessert home at Peter Pan Pastry shoppe. As I continue to explore the marvelous borough of Brooklyn with a kids state of wonder, I really took a moment today to really marvel it and am reminded how lucky I am. Brooklyn: YOU ROCK!

The park offers stunning panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, a well-maintained large lawn, children's playgrounds, cultivated nature gardens, and a recreational fishing pier. Opened in 2012, it features a meticulously restored Art Deco transmitter building that now serves as a historical landmark, and a pedestrian bridge that gracefully spans over a tidal wetland, connecting different areas of the park. The park serves as a vibrant community hub for recreational activities and public events, actively supported by the volunteer group Friends of WNYC Transmitter Park. Transmitter Park may be small in size, but it is packed with character. It boasts incredible views of Manhattan and is remarkably beautiful. My daughter and I recently visited and found it to be a peaceful, serene space. What I appreciated most was how the park creates a calming atmosphere--sitting at the water's edge, you can enjoy the soothing sound of waves and the refreshing gusts of wind. It's a place I highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil outdoor escape.
