This is like a small piece of park, next to McCarren Park. Has a few picnic tables and two dog runs, one for small dogs and the other for large dogs. I have a small doggie baby, as you know. We don't take her to doggie parks, not sure why, I guess its because we are over protective???.....lol We were driving by one day and saw the little dogs having a good time, so we decided to bring my Gia. Parking is okay, found a spot across the street, in between McCarren Park and the dog park. There were only a couple of dogs when we arrived. Clean, nice size, but a little on the small side, the had tennis balls and water for there guest, and a couple of benches for parents. Lots of mulch was put down, didn't see an poop ,messes. Owners were really friendly and were def paying attention to there dogs. My Gia like it, but all the dogs she met (including herself), seemed to want to keep to themselves. Guess you cant blame the place for that....lol Gia cant wait to come back here! FYI....McCarren Park has lots of fun stuff for humans also!! They even have a pool and a skate park.

I spent about 2 and a half hours at this dog run today with my husky, Niña. I don't live in the area, but I came while I waited while my car was getting work done. This place is perfect for both big and small dogs, lots of space to run around in and most importantly everyone there was friendly and actually took care of their dog! It was great! I met a bunch of really nice people and hope to come here once a week! Love that there is a nice little dog store right across the street - I bought a nifty collapsable bowl from them and they even filled it up with water for me. The space was clean, and there's lots of lawns chairs and picnic tables in the shade for the owners to relax in. Will definitely be going back!

This is a very friendly dog park because every dog is pretty much a rescue dog.

This park features an elevated walkway with Manhattan skyline views, a sugar factory-themed playground, sand volleyball and bocce courts, water features, and a taco stand. Moreover, this park has a gorgeous view of the Manhattan skyline and Wiliamsburg bridge. Parking is very challenging so it's best to take a public transit. As a first time visitor, I really like this park and its modern design. This park was not built when I was exiled to LA over a decade ago! Overall, I am glad I enjoyed this park and its stunning view. I highly recommend you visit.

Looked more like a museum or some nice walkway to enjoy sightseeing of the Williamsburg bridge and the lower east side views of Manhattan, which is not that spectacular in my opinion because there are too many government buildings in that section so it's all brown over on the Manhattan side. Oh wells. Other than that, I'm shocked to see nice bathrooms a block away from the park for Domino Park guests! The bathrooms were really nice and modern! Each bathroom had dimmed lighting with a baby diaper changing station. One of the bathrooms was dirty with pee on the floor so I had to go to another one. Did not expect these nice bathrooms to get dirty like that! There were more bathrooms downstairs besides the ones on the first floor. The door to the bathrooms was very nice too! What a great job they did to this park. I cannot believe the Domino sugar factory still exists or is standing because I used to take the train and they be doing construction for many years for I don't know what reason. Looked like they turn downstairs into this nice modern park. So I went to the park to go to a Target pop up and got some nice freebies. There was enough space for pop ups and large crowds. Need to check out the rest of the park next time I'm here. Too bad there is no subway or trains going to this park and you need to resort to buses that take forever to arrive.

The park offers stunning panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline, a well-maintained large lawn, children's playgrounds, cultivated nature gardens, and a recreational fishing pier. Opened in 2012, it features a meticulously restored Art Deco transmitter building that now serves as a historical landmark, and a pedestrian bridge that gracefully spans over a tidal wetland, connecting different areas of the park. The park serves as a vibrant community hub for recreational activities and public events, actively supported by the volunteer group Friends of WNYC Transmitter Park. Transmitter Park may be small in size, but it is packed with character. It boasts incredible views of Manhattan and is remarkably beautiful. My daughter and I recently visited and found it to be a peaceful, serene space. What I appreciated most was how the park creates a calming atmosphere--sitting at the water's edge, you can enjoy the soothing sound of waves and the refreshing gusts of wind. It's a place I highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil outdoor escape.

I learned that this waterfront space was once the site of a radio tower. Because it was early morning, the park was quiet and empty. A few people were walking their dogs on the pier, which overlooks the Manhattan skyline. What caught my eye even more than the city waking up, however, was the large mural against a red brick wall. It shows a woman lying down, plucking dandelion petals. It was whimsical, especially once I noticed the frog beside her. I appreciated discovering this small pocket of the city and enjoyed the moment of peace before my day kicked into high gear.
