Tony Luke's Horseshoe Casino - 6'11'2022 Cheesesteak Sub (8 inch)

What I liked about this place was the food and cleanliness and sanitary practices…read more I ordered the chicken cheesesteak hoagie with provolone. I thought it had a lot of meat. And the cheese had a good flavor. Veggies seemed fresh. It was good for what is. I definitely had worse cheesesteaks in my life. I upgraded to a combo with fries and a drink. You get a good portion of fries. Too big with the sandwich. They were the best fries I've had in awhile. Super crispy but soft potato goodness inside. There was a guy working the register and a woman cooking in the back. It took a really long time to get my food. My sandwich sat waiting awhile for the fries. The register guy was working the fryer too so had to run back and forth. The register guy was very friendly and practiced cleanliness. Put gloves on before going in the back and touching food. Removing them when he did the register. New pair of gloves each time. Then he even used a napkin to grab the drink straws. Honestly they should order straws wrapped in paper to eliminate this step and waste! At lunch, there aren't many choices in this place. The location is a deserted food court in a casino in downtown Baltimore. Only things are Tony Luke's or pizza. It is expensive at $20 for a combo meal but I couldn't finish all of the food. It's definitely a decent portion. Fresh ingredients. Good flavor. Just plan on a wait.

Moving on they have a location here in Baltimore that i have been anticipating for quite sometime, countless push backs and Covid, now we are here. Decided to check them out, would you get the same juicy goodness and solid sandwich $ as you would up 95 on Oregon Ave no, but what you will get is a good ass sandwich without a doubt, so here goes. Cant go anywhere without a mask especially indoors, so PSA wear your darn mask, same thing in the casino because thats the location. Security and temp check you are in, order placed out in 10 mins or less i believe. Thats how i like it. Sandwich was solid, pricey $14 including tax, i call that pricing, the casino up charge. Sandwich was good, bread was very solid, steak was good, specified no mayo, who puts mayo on a cheesesteak, got mayo. They added tomatoes and lettuce i think thats a Baltimore thing but i dont need it, just give me my standard. Sandwich was good, probably the best cheesesteak in Baltimore with its name attached to it not surprised. So, if you want a good cheesesteak go get you some.

Tony Luke's Horseshoe Casino - Discarded 2/3 of the sandwich. It was just too much grease pouring from it. Truly ridiculous for a $12 sandwich.

Then I found Turkey Hill Ice cream Experience only 30min away from Lancaster, and decided to visit. We bought the double scoop experience (comes with ice cream test lab) and obviously that was the highlight of the place! The test lab is about 45min experience and the whole thing with self-guided tour takes about 1hr 30min to 2 hours depending how crowded it is. The visit was fun and of course my 5-year-old daughter had a great time eating tons of ice cream!

Admission prices are reasonable, and who doesnt love unlimited samples of iced tea, and lemonade, icecream on a hot day. Vistors have a choice between one scoop, two scoop, or three scoop attraction. I choose one scoop; hilights of my visit- learning history of Turkey Hill, process of icecream being made, creating a virtual icecream flavor, watching the production , live from interactive camera in one of the exhibits. Be sure to take the few moments, to watch the introduction video. My favorite ice cream sample flavors were Graham Slam & Blueberry Lemon Pound Cake. An attraction must, well visiting Lancaster, PA. My recommendation would be too sell a few more flavors that you offer , with unlimited tastings. My favorite was orange icedtea.

The location is good and has great restaurants around the area (highly recommend the Kneads brunch location across the street, just make sure you make a reservation beforehand.) The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Parking is a pain. To the best of my understanding you need to valet as there's little parking in the area and street parking (unless you're REALLY on top of it) will guarantee you a pricey ticket that will make valet feel cheap.

Had a nice King/sofabed room, which was clean, nicely appointed, and the location is great. Room was on the 10th Floor so the noise level from the street was minimal. When I went to take a shower in the morning, there was zero hot water. I let it run for 10 minutes, and still no hot water. I called down to the desk and was told yes, when fully booked like the hotel was that night, there's not enough hot water in the hotel. I was told to wait a while before taking a shower. Unacceptable to me that a hotel doesn't have the capacity for hot water when the hotel is full. When I complained again when checking out, I was told "the manager is in today. I'll tell her and maybe she'll give you a few HHonors points." Huh?

This was my first time playing bingo so I really didn't know what to expect. I believe 6:50PM is…read morethe early bird special. Regular games start at 7:30PM. You go in, get your bingo package (lowest was $18 to get a stack of bingo games + a computer), get your computer off the rack, then sit down. There are multiple clerks wearing aprons that can help you out. Be prepared to know what "small round robin" and "postage stamp" means. It's actually really easy to google and the computer screen will light up the pattern you're going for. During some of the games, the clerks go around to offer more games for more money. Kim, one of the clerks, was so kind to me and made sure I was on track. She answered any questions I had and it made the whole experience more comfortable as I had gone alone! The bingo itself was super fun!!! I would love to come back with friends. At first, I was intimidated due to how fast the games were going during the early bird special. But, the pace is much better for the regular games (not including the quickie games). However, I do think this place needs to be cleaned. Oddly enough, the bathrooms reeked of nair?? Like it smelled like strong chemicals and wasn't the cleanest. Tip: ask for the program and bring drinks/snacks. Expect to be there from 7:30-11PM. Also, bring cash!!

Rating Pulaski Bingo a 5. Nope, I have no comparison since this was my first time going to bingo…read more I'll tell you what though - phenomenal. You park and walk in. Games are already going (early bird started at 7pm, and I have no idea what was being played) Peppe hadn't just arrived either. They were seriously settled in. You go to the window and are handed the standard cards. Then, you pick the package. No idea what the packages are, but I walked away with a ton of cards and a dauber. Then, you'll grab a small computer. Let's make it more intense and add a machine that auto plays for you. Ask for the program. You'll see each game has a slot and will be able to follow the sequence easier. There's an option to buy food (if you arrive early enough) People pack coolers. Pack a cooler - it takes so much focus to play, snacks are important. There's a few breaks. That's good because there's no room for error. Don't miss a number. Games move fast. Big money is tied to the last game. Smaller games are sold all night and have large prizes. One attendee must know which cards are hot because he kept winning. Amazing. Loved it.
