Can a movie theater be beautiful? If so, this is it! Absolutely gorgeous! There's a bar and lounge. We came on a Friday night, the bar area was full, the theater seats were not. It may have been the movie we saw. Side note, Fall Guy with Emily Blunt and Ryan Gosselin, zero stars. The theater seats were even swanky. Very comfortable. Wide with the recliner. The ticket prices are on the higher end but the seats are well worth the price. If you reserve your tickets, you receive a free medium popcorn. Which almost negates the higher price. Popcorn was fresh and yummy. My bottle of Dasani water was $4.20. About the same price you'd pay at a Stadium event. Employees were very friendly. Overall, good night out at the movies. read more

Soooo Dirty! (5/3/2026 Michael Jackson movie) The snack area had spilled drink everywhere. As you walk your shoes are sticky! We approach theater #8 the trash can at the entrance was overflowing with trash. Even when the movie was over, we come out trash still full. We had to throw away our snack trash in the lobby smh. Then we enter find out seats and the seats are dirty popcorn everywhere. Also someones medical glasses were left. So clearly no one came in to clean the theater after the last showing. It was a mess! I like this movie theater but on a really chill, minimal traffic night. Don't go when something first comes out, don't go on weekends lol and get the latest movie to avoid the kids but man... they've lost their value. I love a luxury movie experience but there never seems to be enough employees or something. It's something with the kitchen staff. No one is there to greet you after you collect your ticket, or to direct you. The waitress took my order wrong and they had an issue with giving me a refund but honestly customer service just isn't the same anymore so I guess we take what we can get. Love the reclined seats I wish they had heating like the rotunda. The food is decent and the alcoholic drinks but the service honestly takes away the positive experience in all of this. The only time I have an outstanding experience is if I go to the bar myself, order my food at the bar and walk to my seat. It's crazy lol IM PAYING. Wow, I had heard that most of the restaurants at the movie theater had closed, but I was SHOCKED to find that EVERY. SINGLE. ONE was closed down. Shuttered. The fountain in the circle was even asleep. How sad. I used to enjoy coming to this theater and having several restaurant choices to grab a bite before a movie. About two years ago I wrote a review about the decline at this theater, but this really was hard to see. With other movie theaters in the area, I know this will be my last time here. I will be surprised to see this theater still in existence in the next year. Sad. One thing you can count on though... parking in Towson is horrendous. You have to pay to park and that hurts when you emerge from your vehicle in the parking garage to a literal ghost town. read more

Went to the movies during the weekday for my birthday with my family. This was impromptu to waste some time but, I noticed a lot of the restaurants surrounding the movies were closed up. We were able to park in the nearby garage for about $2.00 not bad. When you enter the movie theater there are tons of steps to enter if you want your exercise but, there are escalators and elevators of course. The movie was clean and the staff were very attentive. The seats are heated and are able to recline for comfort. Movie popcorn is my absolute fav. The movie theater was pretty empty. Overall, I will definitely return read more

We came back for Gladiator II! I really dig sitting up top. I need to look for other Cinemark theaters that have this option closer to me. It's a bit pricey, but worth the experience IMO. They do include a popcorn, which is really all you need. But you can't come out to an in-person movie experience without spending all your money on a drink (because you can) and maybe some candy. It is what it is. It's a nice outing tho. You can validate your parking at a machine there in the lobby. I'll be back again. read more

Pretty good movie theater. They offer garage parking for $2.00. Just need to get your parking ticket stamped at the theater. it pays to be a cinemark rewards member. Free tickets monthly. Reasonable monthly fee. So worth it though. I love the reclining seats. Snacks are discounted if you're a member. Towson has a lot going on. Plenty things to do before or after the movies. read more

I really enjoy this theater. I was visiting and came to see the amateur. They have a reserve level which is a balcony level seating that comes with a medium popcorn and the elevated view pretty much gives you a higher view which allows you to just look straight ahead and view the full screen. It's official I am never going to the movies ever again. I truly thought this place was better than the other movie theater in White Marsh, but apparently I was mistaken. This place has gone down to the dogs. I had to go to the ladies room before watching the Black Panther- Wakanda Forever. The restroom was filthy, every stall was covered in urine or trash. Then we went to the theater and was advised we could not enter due to the crew were somewhat cleaning up before the show. The response was not welcoming nor nice. I could barely enjoy the show since someone thought it was okay to vape inside the theater... Not cool in my eyes. I thought this was no smoking establishment- I guess not. Nor could I enjoy the movie due to all the phones going off or talking that was nearby. read more

We frequent this location and we enjoy the reclining chairs. We mostly go on Tuesday evenings to avoid loud people in the movies since there can be a lot of talking now. We enjoy the staff as they're super friendly and very helpful. We've never had a problem getting checked in for tickets or getting to our seats. We also really like the reserve level because of the food options and they bring it to you to enjoy when the movie starts. We are also movie club members so that comes with nice perks like free medium popcorn. The arcade air hockey game is nice as well and easy to use if you arrive too early like we have once. I hope to one day try their frozen margaritas. read more

This is my favorite local movie theater. On this trip the elevators were broken in the garage, so parking on level 3 is a solid plan. I tried ordering food in the app when picking a ticket and it was so easy. Food was ready at the time of pickup and came conveniently packed in a bag making it easy to retrieve and carry. All of the seats are electric reclining lounge chairs, which are comfy. Maybe bring a hoodie if you run cold as the AC works well. read more

This used to be the spot. We usually choose VIP seating to cut down the crowds and enjoy the bar area. This was a 5pm midweek showing. Not crowded at all. None of the staff bothered to clean the theater between shows. So in a mini theater with less than 25 seats, we had to throw away the trash left by the tacky cretins who sat there in the early show. Tackier still for the theater to think it perfectly acceptable to have trash sitting around for its patrons to clean themselves. Somehow, free popcorn doesn't seem to be much of a reward for cleaning our own seating area. But that's just me. No one wa ever in the "office". Sad read more

This movie theatre in Towson is one of the better if not best in the Baltimore area. We come here often especially because it's so close to home. This movie date night was for Creed III !!! I'm a huge fan of the franchise. I bought the best of the remaining seats available. What's nice is that all of the theaters come with recliner seats. Typically, we try to get our seats in the reserve level, which is the upper balcony of the theatre with amenities such as (foods, snacks, drinks) brought right to you. We weren't able to get those seats this time so we went to the counter ourselves, ordered our food, and brought it to our seats. If you notice in the picture, (2) Red boxing glove drink stirrers. They were at the bar for guests to take which was pretty cool. We had a bit of a wait for the food but it was ready in time for us to get down the escalator, through the ticket check, and in our seats to enjoy while watching the previews. I love to see the previews! The bistro cheeseburger was pretty good. It's big too! I ran out of bun my last few bites lol. It's topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, mayo and mustard so be mindful of that in case you'd like to omit something. The theatre was clean and we enjoyed our movie date night. FYI, Creed III was soooo good! 10/10 recommend! read more

Visited today and for the third, but worse, time there's been an excessive amount of moths and fireflies. All three times I was seated higher, this time I said something while seated because I had food and drinks, that I spent $70 and I wanted to enjoy. I was moved to the bottom row where I still am actively seeing moths. Trying to wait it out as I have a child with me. It's so bad I am still debating on whether it'd be worth getting the refund and driving to white marsh with a toddler and after buying $70 in food. If you can tolerate an excess of moths and other light attracted flying bugs or don't mind sitting front row with a tolerable amount of bugs, then this is the place for you. read more

Wanting to see Maestro before the Oscars, we booked seats for a 1:00 PM showing at the Cinemark in Towson. The movie theater was virtually empty - no surprise! The seats were recliners, but they were not comfortable. The theater was cold. However, the worst was the deafening sound. My husband went out and asked them to turn it down, which they did - slightly. At points, I had to cover my ears, the sound was so loud. Why anyone thinks that having the sound that loud is enjoyable is beyond me. We stopped at the Customer Service Desk on the way out and they could have cared less. Their only remark was that someone had made a complaint to which I responded that was my husband. We won't be coming back to this theater anytime soon. read more

This is a really nice theater, it has comfortable reclining seats and is clean and well taken care of. The screens are a lot larger than theaters nearby. A few things to note though- Parking in the lot is not free, but they do take 2-3$ off, which is nice. If you go to a day show, you can usually find street parking nearby for cheaper as well. The popcorn and soda has no refills, even with size large. I'm assuming it's part of covid protocol still. 2 out of the last 3 movies I've seen have had issues with lighting in the theater. I have to say that unfortunately this theater has gone downhill fast. My fiancé and I LOVE going to the movies, so much so that he recently became a Cinemark member to get a free movie ticket each month (that rolls over) because we go so often! However we have been seriously disappointed the last 2-3 times we have gone to this location. The good: We really like the VIP seats upstairs--tickets come with free popcorn, quick access to the bar, reclining seats, and less people = less chance of sitting near people with zero movie theater manners. The bad: This location has been out of draft beer for over a month now, and when we asked when they plan on getting the drafts back up, they said they had to order a part that could take months to arrive. I get it--things happen, but while having zero draft beers could they at least order replacement canned/bottled beers? Also, the last few times we've gone the entire place has been FILTHY--bathrooms, floors, theater seats all just covered in filth. The ugly: The last few times we've gone, we've had unfriendly service or listened as workers loudly complain to each other about working there... Also, there have been hordes of people with zero theater etiquette (loudly talking/on phones/sitting in seats that are not theirs and having to be removed by staff). It's been seriously unpleasant going to the movies at this location that I doubt we will be back anytime soon--especially with several other brand new movie theater locations opening up in the area. It's our family tradition to go to the movies on Thanksgiving. This year we decided to go at noon before dinner. We purchased the seats online to ensure we had our preferred seats. Wakanda Forever has been out at theaters for a few weeks now so we chose to see it today. The hostess was friendly and wished us Happy Thanksgiving as he gave us our entrance tickets. However he forgot to give us our 3D glasses for the movie. We eventually realized we needed them when the movie started. The theater was clean and has comfortable recliner seating. That was a plus because the movie was 2 1/12 hours. The bathroom were clean as well. Before the movie started to did visit the concession counter to order popcorn and drinks, two large popcorn buckets and bottle water was only $22 and that was pretty reasonable. Three stars for having those modern comfy reclining seats and for just being a movie theater existing post-COVID. Can't give them any more stars than that because their concessions process is a crazy nightmare (I think I could have just walked away with my bottle of water, because it was so unclear where to check out with your purchases BUT I DIDN'T my point is just that they made a simple thing difficult) and because the parking garage isn't free (they do validate so I think we got $3 off the parking, and our friends found street parking since it was a mid-day matinee). An average movie theater at best, but oh how I've missed movie theaters! Plus, there aren't many movie theaters in Baltimore City (what is up with this by the way), so this one will have to do most of the time. read more

We have been coming here since before the pandemic. We loved this venue when it was brand new and honestly it still holds up well now. During the pandemic they improved their offerings by upgrading seating and creating a great reservation system. You could even rent out the entire theater! We actually did this on at least one occasion. These days we tend to reserve seats for movies in the upper balcony. If you get the reserve seating selection, you enter through the top level of the theater complex where there is a bar and food service area specifically for you. They will bring you menus and deliver food and drink to your chair before and during the movie. Throughout the theater the seating is adjustable recliner chairs with an adjustable table for your food. Honestly this place is amazing and there really aren't any better movie theater venues locally. If you want to see a movie, you can't go wrong if you come here. read more

This movie theater has really gone down hill. Upon arrival you are met with overflowing trash cans. The bar was filthy as there were coats and handbags thrown across the counter, trash littered the floor and the place overall was unkept. We waited for 5 minutes thinking someone would approach and serve us as there were numerous employees standing around talking or having a drink. The floors throughout the place were littered with trash and popcorn. I know it may have been busy but cleanliness is not a place to deviate from standard. Hopefully these issues will be resolved immediately as i would hate to look elsewhere for my theater needs. Also none of the workers greet you. That's customer service 101. The experience the last few times here are on a steady decline. Getting into the theater there has been a long line/wait as they didn't have the dedicated "usher" to take tickets. We were all driven to the purchase counter whether you pre purchased tickets like we did online or not. Then concession offering is hit or miss. Sometimes they have kettle corn, sometimes they have pizza. Speciality drinks/buckets for feature films have no pricing and the staff have no clue and are unhelpful. Restrooms consistently need attention. The last time we were in reserve (upcharge) and ordered seat side food delivery, we never even received our order. We came out to check after an hour into the film and were told they were "backed up". As we grew closer to the end of the film we gave up and went back out to get a refund. When ordering initially the cashier did not know how to apply the rewards member discount despite my presenting the reward member barcode twice! I'm going to take a pause for now and hope they get their staffing and operations in order. We use to love coming here but the recent issues EVERY visit are killing the desire to return. read more

Had a very unpleasant experience here. 2 stars because the recliners are nice and the concessions man did us right with the buttery popcorn. Seats are assigned online or when u arrive if u purchase in person. At no point did anyone check our tickets or ask to see them/if we had them. Someone was in our seats in the theater so we sat elsewhere. We had to move 3 times as we kept ending up in someone else's seats. The couple in our seats were refusing to move, and said they did not have a ticket to show us with their seat number but those were "their seats." They clearly had not paid to get into the movie and it was a full theater. No staff member in the theater to mitigate this issue. Anyone can go into any theater and sit wherever they want and watch whatever they want here so that may be a plus for some folks. Cheers read more

The customers need to be noticed in advance when one of the theaters does not have air conditioning running while the movie is being shown. Disappointing visit. None of the staff at the ticket printer or food area acknowledged us, even upon saying hello and thank you, or said one word to us. More than 15 minutes after show time had passed, our movie hadn't started and the lights were still on. After alerting guest services, they got the movie on screen after 25 minutes... the movie started 40 minutes late and the wrong movie was played. We saw a Studio Ghibli film and paid for the English dubbed version. We watched the Japanese version with English subtitles. Many people left the theater, including those with young children (who may not be of that reading level yet). Won't return. read more

We come to the movie often. Once you're in a theatre, things are ok. The bathrooms are (surprisingly) well maintained. But the other areas of the theatre? Feh. There's almost always something broken (an escalator or two, or one of the machines used to validate tickets). And today? The concessions area was entirely disgusting. The worst? A pair of rubber gloves (the sort worn by employees) laying on the floor (pic attached!). What was horrifying was the number of staff members who walked past them. We walked by them on the way to the washroom, on the way back to concessions, and on the way to our theatre. Recently went and visit this theatre, got a VIP ticket and wasn't entirely please to be honest. The menu section seems to vary more than the usuals. Here are a few things to keep in mind, good and bad. Bathrooms are usually clean and odourless. Only form of payment is with physical credit/debit cards Apple/Google Pay are not acceptable (even though it's the most contactless way). If cashiers aren't in the mood to take cash I do suggest you stick to just bringing your card. If you have never visit this place before, try choosing an area or seat of your liking for most of your viewings. Always check seats are working as well as controls. Pay attention to when someone is bringing your food because some staff like to sniff at food while their nose isn't covered. Yikes. Lastly, I used to think XD was so much better but check out Real IMAX or Dolby, you might be surprised of the difference in quality and sound. read more

Bought tickets for me and my little brother which I am a legal guardian of but the manager refused to let us see the movie due a policy that clearly states that the child has to be accompanied by an adult. Mind u she didn't id none of the other parents or ask for dumb documentation. She was so dismissive and asked another team member to "handle" me . Like your grown bffr. This is definitely the best theater in the area, hands down. I'm a fan of Cinemark first and foremost because of their Cinemark movieclub, which is a great deal if you are a regular movie-goer. Also, they have a fantastic points system in general, even if you aren't a movieclub member. I've accumulated plenty of free movies and over $200 in savings with movieclub. In terms of this theater, its always clean. The prices in general are better than Regal in HV, and this theater is so incredibly clean compared to the AMC in White Marsh. If you love a good movie experience, definitely upgrade to the reserve level seating, which scores you a free popcorn, seat delivery, etc, and is a great time. Concessions are great- I get a 20% discount for being a movieclub member, which includes the fact they have starbucks too! Definitely come to this Cinemark. read more

It's no secret that I don't go to the movies often so when I go it's either because someone close to me really wants to or there is a movie that is good enough to warrant it. This time it was a movie I was really excited to see and a friend chose this theater. They have a bag policy that's similar to a sports arena which is kinda odd since sometimes people hit a movie after wandering around the mall. Snack prices were to be expected and the staff working were extremely polite and every one I encountered had a great sense of humor. Theater was clean and the seats were SUPER comfy. Appreciate the little snack table and the amount the seats reclined. I didn't have a cocktail but I like that it's an option. Maybe next time, whenever that will be. read more

This is my first time coming to Towson's movie theaters and I'm disappointed. I normally go to white marsh but the younger crowd is insane. I came to take my younger brothers to a 1:30 pm show time and the process was so confusing. You don't order where you buy which was confusing. It was TRASH all over the floors. The only thing clean was the family bathroom. I ordered reserved seating and my seats were taken, it was so disorganized it wasn't no point of arguing over the seats so we sat in the front. Best theater! 6 bucks for the matinee, seats recline, good food options, Starbucks coffee, beer and wine. So much to offer without paying the price of Cinebistro. You reserve your seat when you buy your ticket (I buy mine in advance), parking is easy and cheap and the theater is always clean. This is the best of the chain movie theaters in the area. Sure it isn't a novelty experience like Parkway or the Senator, but this is so COMFY and cheap, can't recommend enough! read more
