a band performing on stage - A live concert scene shows multiple band members playing instruments on stage, including guitars, drums, and percussion. Stage lighting includes green and yellow lights, and a large backdrop displays the text 'Violent Femmes.' The setting appears to be an indoor concert venue with professional lighting and sound equipment.

Staff, very nice and professional. Service at the bar, great. Sound? Abysmal. I went to see the Violent Femmes last night and the sound quality was such garbage we left before the end. How is it possible to mix a full horn section so poorly that they cannot be heard? Ditto for the drums. I'm not saying I want to have my doors blown off but having to take out my ear plugs to hear better is something I don't think I should have to do, especially at a venue charging a hundred bucks a ticket. The mix was so underwhelming and muffled, it was only the excitement of the crowd's love of the band that did not cause a mass exit. It was terrible from upstairs stage left and equally bad standing near the merch table. I won't waste my time and $$$ at Rams Head Live again.

a man with a guitar in front of a crowd - A performer with a guitar is on stage, smiling and making hand gestures, possibly during a concert. The stage is lit with blue and purple lights, and the audience is visible with hands raised, some making gestures or holding phones. The background shows stage equipment and lighting effects.

Went to rams head for the first time! The lighting was great for the bands, sound quality was great too. The drinks were not a bad price and they were nice and cold. Super fast for the drinks too and everyone was very nice. The bathroom was a great size, been a few other places that were tiny. Wasn't to hot and wasn't to cold either inside, absolutely perfect experience for the first time!

Goon throwing bottles of ice indiscriminately into a huge crowd of people - A bald man wearing a black shirt is holding a cup and drinking at a crowded indoor event, possibly a concert or performance. Several other people are visible, some with their backs to the camera. The background includes a stage with equipment and a large screen displaying abstract visuals, with smoke or fog effects present.

One of their security workers was throwing half frozen water bottles into the crowd during sets. My friend got hit in the face with one and was bleeding everywhere. The management and head of security at Rams Head were huge pricks to him about it when confronted later. I witnessed their security manager telling him that his name was "Haha" and mocking my friend and his injury. Very negligent and disrespectful.

Came here for the Floetry concert. This venue is general admission and you have to stand, save for a few seats at the bar at the entrance and a few bar tables with seats. I suggest you get there early to cop these. Entrance was painless with ladies having to have their bags checked and you get your hand stamped (l believe to go in and out). They only had one bar open with ONE bartender...really Rams Head? Of course the line stretched far back so l decided to wait until after the concert started, but by then, l didn't want one. Your loss Rams Head. Parking in downtown Baltimorean is typical, with a number of parking garages and metered street parking available. The show itself was great, but they really need to work on the acoustics there because it kinda sucked. I believe this will be my last show here as l am older and enjoy a good 'ol seat to enjoy my concerts in instead of standing as my dogs slowly began to bark....

Bad etiquette with canceling bands for no reason and then not being able to get tickets refunded.

Rams Head has great concerts, a wide variety of artists and genres, but I always feel it the morning after standing up for hours on end.

Ask the Community - Rams Head Live

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the main floor is wheelchair accessible. There are also some tables and monitors accessible from a side entrance so you don't have to fight the crowds.

There is a concert that my boyfriend really wants to see and i would be going with him. Are there any age regulations to see the concert?

Most shows are all ages. Check the website

What is the dress code?

Wear whatever you like. It’s a music venue and bar, so you’ll see all types of dress at all types of shows. I wore a polo shirt, shorts, and Birkenstocks at a Sevendust show there recently. Obviously I don’t care how I look, so this might not help… Read more

For our elopement reception cocktail party, we wanted to give our guests a taste of Baltimore's charm--and we knew from the start that Woodberry was the perfect place to do it. The event space alone is gorgeous, with the quintessential exposed brick and bistro lighting, making decor easy to simply add to the vibes. Jolanta also was so helpful in encouraging us to hire a photographer and music for our event that were both affordable and really added to the party. Our guests raved about the food, and we loved having local Baltimore craft beers as well as 2 custom cocktails to make our event really feel special to us. We cannot stop thinking about how amazing our event went--we will cherish these memories forever! Thank you Woodberry for giving us the night of a lifetime!

From the farm to table food, to the thoughtful drinks and cocktail list, to the immaculate attention to detail and kind staff - I knew we'd be in good hands. Jolanta and Sarah were an absolute pleasure to work with as we built the menu and we planned the event schedule. I knew I had nothing to worry about because they would take care of all the small things and execute the vision for a beautiful wedding day! The food was incredible and the atmosphere was exactly what I was hoping for. Woodberry is breathtaking and needs very little decoration, and my guests had nothing but good things to say. My personal favorites from the evening was the charm city heat wave cocktail, the ribeye with bernaise sauce and the desserts. The entire day was immaculate, but what really made it special is the event staff were all so kind and excited for us and complementing the space and the florals, and we got the impression that they really wanted to be there and cared about our celebration. all I have to say is thank you, thank you!

It can be completely hit or miss depending on who your bartender is. And last night I witness a truly disrespectful interaction between my friend who is a WOC and one of the bartenders. I understand having a limited drink menu, but each time my friend asked for a recommendation she was responded to as if she had just spit in that woman's face. The final straw was when my friend said, "I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with most of these drinks. What do you have that is sweet?" asking for a recommendation. The bartender looked at her and said "sugar" then rolled her eyes so hard I'm surprised they didn't get stuck in the back of her head. I understand being over your job, but my friend did nothing wrong. Was not rude, and in return got spoken to like a child. I don't know what the chip on this person's shoulder was, but if you absolutely HAVE to to be vile to everyone you speak to, try a back of the house position because you are actively damaging your bar's reputation.

There was a preset menu for cocktails, mocktails, wines, and beer. Some of the mocktails were sweeter than my liking, but it was fine. The staff were awesome. The bartender was solo up until it turned into a cash bar -- she was working really hard! The music was at a great volume, and food was being passed around regularly. It's really a great space for having a private party. And on top of that, while it can fill up quickly, there's free street parking outside. I do wish the bathroom was lockable -- the stall within there is, but otherwise things could get awkward. Pro tip -- it's behind the stage.
