Stopped by this casino real quick when I was in town. Easy to access and use a ride share for drop off. Ate at the Gordon Ramsay restaurant. Wife played slots and I played poker. Clean, spacious and just a nice place to spend the evening. read more

Horseshoe Casino Baltimore was way too much fun! I originally went there to see Pauly D, however, stayed for the gambling and delicious drinks at all the bars. The bartenders definitely have a heavy hand and the drinks are so reasonably priced, it was a no brainer when it came to staying longer. The tables were filled with people having fun and roulette was the favorite of the night. For a ravens game night, it was the perfect atmosphere, filled with great music and good vibes. The workers were friendly and it was seriously the cleanest casino I have ever been to! Actually spotless. Good options ranged from a steakhouse to Jimmy John's, making it truly accommodating to any and everyone. I can't wait to go back and spend more time here. read more

We were really disappointed with our experience. We stopped at the bar on a Saturday night and asked for a glass of red wine, only to be told they were completely out. We then asked if they had any white wine, and they were out of that as well. The only wine they had available was sweet wine. Honestly, we were very surprised and disappointed. For a casino on a Saturday night, you would expect the bar to have a decent selection of basic wines available. Having no red or white wine at all was frustrating and really put a damper on our evening. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we expected. read more

I've been a patron of this casino for approximately 10 years, though I'm not a gambler. I used this as a first date spot for ages, can't beat the security, lol. There are a lot of bars and restaurants at this casino, so it's useful and interesting even if gambling isn't your thing. Recently I visited the Horseshoe for a concert. This was a new experience for me, but the employee checking IDs directed me to the room where the concert was to be. It was a little underwhelming, my seat was a pinch uncomfortable, but the overall sound quality was good. I enjoyed the concert and would return for another. read more

I don't gamble but I always have a good time here. The nightlife is lit in here from the djs to the bartenders and I love how spacious it is. We explored Baltimore and had to check out of our hotel at 11. I called the horseshoe casino and asked if we could check our bags with them and do some gambling, and they said yes we could do that. We took a taxi to the casino and they were not nice to us and told us they do not do that. Even after we explained to them that we called. They brought in more security thinking we were going to start problems. They were very rude and I will never come back to a disrespectful environment. Shame on you! read more

I had an extremely upsetting and unprofessional experience at Horseshoe Casino Baltimore due to inconsistent ID enforcement and disrespectful conduct by security and management. Earlier in the evening, my government-issued ID did not scan because of a small ink stain. A supervisor and manager manually verified my ID, confirmed it was valid, and allowed me entry. I spent about two hours inside the casino without issue. After briefly leaving to walk family members to their ride, I returned approximately 20 minutes later and attempted to re-enter. This time, different security staff stopped me. Despite calmly explaining that my ID had already been verified by management earlier that same evening, staff refused to examine or verify my ID at all. Before any review took place, I was described over internal radio communication as attempting to enter "without a valid ID," which immediately created a presumption of wrongdoing. A manager then denied my entry without ever inspecting my ID and stated that she would "side with her associates no matter what," regardless of the circumstances. As the situation escalated, the interaction became openly disrespectful. When I questioned the decision, I was met with dismissive and demeaning remarks, including a manager telling me, "I make more money than you," rather than addressing the issue professionally. I was ultimately ordered to leave without any meaningful explanation or review of my identification. While I understand that casinos have the right to enforce ID policies, the inconsistency, refusal to verify a valid ID, and insulting manner in which I was spoken to were unacceptable -- especially considering I had just been inside and spent money on the gaming floor less than 30 minutes earlier. This experience was embarrassing, humiliating, and far below the standard of professionalism I would expect from a casino of this size and reputation. read more

It's kinda ghetto with a lot of old people, but it's pretty cool. I think they've developed new management because now I see a lot more events going on on the weekends and some features. Hoping to host an event there at some point they've offered some more food options outside of the usual pies, which is awesome because their pizza is delicious Now they have Dunkin' Donuts buffalo wild wings and a sandwich shop. I think it's Jimmy John's. I go back all the time because it's a cool hangout spot and it's only 12 minutes away. read more

Went here a couple of times during my gambling era lol. It's one of those things that you do just because it's close and I literally live across the street. This is the first casino I took my wife to as we had time to kill after our Greyhound bus dropped us off next door and when the gates opened at M&T at the Ravens vs.Seahawks game. We were hoping to get breakfast here but sadly none of the food places open until lunch time. There are plenty of slot machines upstairs and downstairs that are pretty well kept but a few machines did not have visible cash out buttons. Overall we had a decent time but it would be nice if food was available at all hours, especially in the morning. read more

Parking Nightmare at Horseshoe Casino / Topgolf Baltimore Be warned: the shared parking garage between Horseshoe Casino and Topgolf can be a trap if you forget to validate your ticket. Topgolf offers free parking only if you validate inside. I didn't realize this and got stuck at the exit gate. I called the number posted, and the attendant told me I'd have to pay $30. I explained that Topgolf parking is supposed to be free, and asked if I could go back to validate. She refused, saying she could get in trouble for letting me through. With five cars behind me and no cash on hand, I was stuck. Then a woman in a truck who turned out to be an employee offered to help if I gave her $10 in cash. I paid her, and she let me out. It didn't feel like an official solution. Honestly, it felt almost like a scam. Whether it was or not, it was shady and uncomfortable. Tip: Validate your parking ticket at Topgolf before leaving. Don't assume it's automatic, and don't expect help at the exit gate. read more

Fun Casino with lots of entertainment to explore here. Slots, tables, and more. This establishment offers free sodas, if stocked in the machine and if ice is replaced on good days. There were a few instances when machines broke and customers had to wait awhile for an attendant to respond. All in all, nice. read more

My review may be slightly biased as I was born and raised in Las Vegas in the land of casinos. Honestly, the interior of the casino is lovely and well-maintained (check out the gorgeous chandeliers in the photos). However, the immediate exterior (e.g., parking garage, elevators to get inside) is pretty poorly maintained with trash on the floors and interesting smells and sights that do not necessarily make you excited to go inside. The food and drink options aren't amazing but they aren't awful - they have some good options but a lot of the times the places aren't open so it defeats the purpose. I did like the pizza place which I've seen has been consistently open! My partner really likes roulette, and for some reason only a few tables were open (many were closed). We eventually got to play and it was great, but I wonder if the casino is understaffed or something else is going on. Pros and cons to coming here - give it a shot and see what you think! read more

Pretty nice casino with many table games. Not bad for being in the middle of downtown Baltimore.

TO OVERNIGHT MANAGEMENT OR CEO!! today I went into the horseshoe casino for the FIRST TIME I just turned 21 ! I went with my mom my best friend & her mom . when we first got there my best friend ID was not scanning in the system due to an ink pin busting & being on the corner of her id (not covering anything to hid her identity), a man working front desk(at the main entrance)ran her id numbers through the computer & her picture popped so he let us enter.. then told her if she would would to ever like tocome back tell them at the entrance what he had told us... then we went into the casino to enjoy our night.... later on that evening we wanted to stay but we walked our moms out the front entrance over to royal farms to get inside an uber home ...we come back over to the casino and enter the same way only this time it was different staff at the front desk.. I get my id scanned but this time I had to look at the camera for 10 seconds at the entrance , I didn't have to do that my first entry & then it's my friend turn and she did the same but she tells the woman worker the same thing that the guy prior told her about the id scanning & the ink pin busting .. then she says my friend cannot inter the casino and whatever and whoever told us anything different was wrong which is crazy because we was just in there for about two hour & only left for about 20 mins!!plus the person that let us enter the first time yall work together !While tryna understand everything on us getting denied entry we asked to speak to a manager because this was our first at the casino & we didn't know what was right or wrong because we were already inside! two women at the front desk told us it's no point because we still will not get into the casino no matter who we call but we kept trying to explain showing her our cards & cash out tickets with our name that match id ... so we waited & when she finally called the "manager" two more women walks up clearly wit attitude that we actually waited for them .. we go back and forth about why we can't get back into the casino even though we was just inside gambling having a nice time ?!! then the manager proceeded to say after showing evidence that "well it Don't matter what's going on I'm going to take my people side " ! now we are irritated because this is our FIRST TIME at the business we been in here for like 2 hours & yall seen us leave because first floor was empty I am discussed with the way we was treaded buy the 4 WOMAN that was working Monday around 1am this morning when we tried to return!!! Was just there last night. Took my 21 year old daughter for the first time, and she absolutely loved it. After years and years Horseshoe never changed for the better. But rather for the worse. Upon entering the garage and getting out of the car. You smell a very strong ammonia smell which is from the heavy amount of human urine in the garage. This is the only casino I know where they never POWER-WASH the garage with REAL SOAP. There is very heavy amounts of grime on the concrete as well as the walls which are starting to show clear as day. **SEE PICS**. After bypassing people asking you for change in the garage as soon as you get out your car since there is almost no VISIBLE security whatsoever in the garage. You are then required to go thru security inside to enter the casino. There's a metal detector also. **SEE PICS** Not being used currently though. Upon getting to the security podium. No one says "Welcome or anything nice" But rather they say "remove your mask" for their facial recognition system to scan you. After entering the casino. It becomes a very depressing environment. You see a lot of people using the ATM's to get more money out. Not that many people cashing tickets really for good amounts of money but rather for mostly under the 20 mark. No machines playing bonuses or anything. Mostly all the food places are closed down. There are a few that still exist but are usually only open at night for about four hours which is very sad since there's really nowhere decent to eat at. The drink people never smile and when you tip them they don't even say thank you. Which is truly ridiculous and shows a complete lack of even a decent amount of class even. The executive staff here as well as player rewards is the complete worst. They're very defensive when asking about comps. I had asked them to do a tier match which usually Atlantic City does every year for me since it's a Caesar's property. Also they have it clearly advertised here as well. Complete waste of time. The employees will look at you like you're trying to rip the place off and begin to treat you almost like garbage. Very very poor customer service as well as fraudulent advertising to get people in the door. The executive host here is very young and treats people like garbage. Complete utter disrespect for high limit players as well as regular players. They have a poker room and a Horse betting room. As well as the usual table games. Most of them have high limits even for the regular tables and mostly all of them use "Shuffle Master" which is a system that gives the casino an advantage really in the constant shuffling of the card decks. The sports room is closed off during certain times to prevent people from sleeping in there. **SEE PICS** NOW FOR THE VERY BAD The payouts here are the worst I've ever seen. I can't even remember the last time I seen someone here get a hand pay. Playing various machines even at MAX BET and you still lose all your money really. Barely any machines bonus or anything. The high limit room is the worst. No casino executives like other casinos come over to you and say thanks for coming or playing or do you need anything. Truly a depressing environment. On the weekend late nights. I think horseshoe becomes a nightclub because it attracts a very large crowd of young people wearing their pants half way down and talking complete slang. The employees here are somewhat friendly. Usually all the times I've been here. The bathroom employees were the nicest. The rest of the employees make you feel like whenever you ask them anything. It's like you're bothering them. The noise level is normal for a casino. The general crowd here is normal class. All adults since it's a casino. Overall. This place is a MAJOR DUMP. One of the worst casinos I've been to in my time and I've been to a lot. Lastly. They need way more security here as well as fixing the huge potholes directly outside of the casino when coming off of 295. Also the constant shakedowns for change by bums and junkies since some of them while asking you for change have their eyes close and are almost ready to fall over inside the casino even gets ridiculous after awhile. read more

The only reason I gave it one star is that zero stars was not an option. This place is an absolute sh#thole! We went there for the Army-Navy game and to have dinner at Gordon Ramsay afterwards. They gouge you for $100 to park there, even if you were going to the restaurant. The entire casino and surrounding area is a cesspool of ne'er-do-wells and street urchins, with many of them congregating at the entrance demanding money. The casino was filthy and occupied with a clientele that you definitely wanted to avoid. The Gordon Ramsay dinner was mediocre at best, with everyone complaining that their meal was overly salty and tasteless. The final straw was when we went to leave and the parking gate was not working, and no one was available to answer the call button or come to our assistance. The line was backed up with 10-15 cars trying to get out, and no one came to our assistance. Finally, a patron who had a member card was able to open the gate so we could get out. Never again!!! No matter what incentives they offer you - DO NOT GO!!! read more

My husband and I went to this casino for the first time and spent 3 hours. The parking lot smells of urine, when you go inside to take an elevator to the casino, the urine is so intense (on carpet) it gags you. We did not have any success here - that happens (didn't take any stars off for that). Half the food places are closed. Not once did we see anyone with drinks, nobody. Not one time. We traveled two floors, we sat at the tables for over a hour, nothing. I asked the dealer if he could send someone over and he said he would. Nothing. No water, no drinks. Stood in line for over 20 minutes to get a member card, they kept pulling people with chips. I'm not sure what was going on but after 20 minutes we gave up. Left thru the hall of urine read more

This has got to be my LEAST favorite casino in the DMV area! Overall this place just didn't capture my interest. I came here two weekends ago on a Saturday evening with a friend. Venue - Arriving at the Uber drop off location, the area seemed a bit sketchy, behind the casino or next to some type of dark area construction. Once we stepped inside, the casino is visually pretty! We entered in the lower level, and I instantly noticed how dead the casino was. We eventually ventured upstairs where more people were gambling, but still rather shockingly empty for a Saturday night! (tip: go to Maryland Live! or MGM, it's fairly busy and fun there on weekends) Total Rewards - I went to get my players card at the total rewards desk. There were only a few people in front of me and it took A LONG TIME. There was only ONE staff member handling regular players, but three staff members for higher tier players! The other staff members refused to take us even when their lines were empty. Total Rewards was offering a "tier status match"--basically if you have a high tier status as certain local casinos, they would match it to their "Diamond" status. Sounds great, right?! Well, I got my new players card and a Diamond player's parking pass instantly. HOWEVER, it's been over a week and my account hasn't been updated to the new tier status!! So basically I don't get to access any of the Diamond perks yet. I have never been to a casino that took so long to update their player's accounts. Service - There are not a lot of cocktail waitresses that come around the slot machines. When one finally showed up, she messed up my drink and then I couldn't even find her again to fix it. Food - We did try the Gordon Ramsey Steakhouse! That'll be a different review! read more

Despite losing all my money, I had a great time! It was super crowded and the slot machines were fun. The place was dead. In 5 hours, not once did someone come by to offer beverage service. Couldn't find a bottled water anywhere. No employees engaged with me except at the cashier's stand. The place was dirty outside and didn't appear very safe. No security outside and just a doorman on the inside. Over half the machines were out of service. Be warned. If you self excluded in PA you will not be welcome here either. I self excluded in PA so I wouldn't go to the local casino. Decided to drive the extra distance to this one where I used to be a 7 star. When I arrived I asked at the door when my ID was checked if my self exclusion in PA affected my status here in Maryland. They said it shouldn't. I proceeded to lose 2000. Then security comes around and tells me I'm not allowed in and takes the money I have in the machine. This after I loose 2000. We went there for Steak, which was amazing. I don't gamble, so I can't really speak to the casino itself. It's less noisy then the ones I've been too in Vegas, though. And much cleaner.
