After we've had multiple events there for the same price. Shut us down early. Witnessed us make a offering to the other party even though it was not our fault. Had a nasty attitude. Considering we've had over 4 events there in the past three years. You would think they'd be a little more compassionate. I rented the hall on March 25, 2017 for a fundraising event. Andy Conner was very hard to get in…read moretouch with when I needed to speak with him. No one at the fire department could help if we had questions concerning the hall. The cost for the rental of the hall was a little over $1500.00 plus $200 to pay the cleaning people and we had to pay additional money for the use of the round tables. (very expensive for just the use of the hall)This only included the hall itself and basically that is it. We were not allowed to use the refrigerator at the bar to keep our alcohol or sodas cold, (we were allowed to use the ice) we had to break down all of the rectangle tables that were already set up for an event the fire department had in order to set up the round tables we needed to use. We had to bring our own trashbags. In the kitchen we were given access to a limited amount of space to store our food and to store a keg and we were responsible for cleaning the hall after, the kitchen, sweeping the floors, removing the trash and table cloths off the tables, we had to take the trash out to the dumpsters. The 2 cleaning people came in prior to us leaving that evening and the woman was fine with the way we cleaned the hall, my husband showed her around and there were no issues, the man with her told us we had to put all the chairs on the tables for him and he was not very pleasant. We paid the deposit and we paid the fee for the hall and it is now September 15, 2017 and we still have not received our $200.00 deposit we were suppose to get back. Again, we have tried numerous times to get in touch with Andy (since no one else is able to help us) but he has not called us back and no deposit. We have physically stopped by the station and left numerous messages. The bull roast was held to raise money for those struggling with substance use issues to get into sober living housing etc. That $200 could pay a copay for someone right now. We hold a bull roast every year for the fund, but I will never use this hall again and I will definitely never recommend it to anyone.
