Nice Hispanic flee market with a bunch of Mexican, Salvadorian, and Honduran items or representation. It makes you feel like you're in Mexico or another Spanish speaking country and is a good place to connect with the Latino community. They have all kinds of stores from jewelry and clothing to house items, plants, technology, and more. Parking is an issue so make sure to arrive early or park somewhere where you can exit easily. Food places are available inside as well as food trucks outside. I went to a Pupusería food truck and tried a pupusa with Loroco and cheese filling. Sadly, they were out of the frijoles con queso (beans with cheese) filling but the food was mediocre. It was my first time trying pupusas. But overall, the market was nice and it's a great place to come for the unique experience. read more

When is comes to finding hidden gems the flea market is the place to go. I always shop here for my tools and cell phone accessories. Remember this is a flea market so nothing is going to come with a money back guarantee. You buy at your own risk. Some of the vendors will let you exchange your product but many will say one you buy it that's it. I recommend coming very early on a Saturday morning if you want to beat the rush. From 10 to 2 the lot will be so packed that you will not be able to find a parking space. Half the vendors are inside and the other half are outside. You can find anything you are looking for if you look hard enough. There is a food court but all the food is South American fare. There is a fruit vendor that makes fresh smoothies and fruit salads. read more

This flea market is huge. Also the sellers are very friendly. The entire market is more geared towards a Mexican lifestyle really. Roughly 80% of the stuff here is stuff you will find in Mexico everywhere. A ton of clothing sellers with mainly women's clothing. The ones for men are mainly work clothes and selling power tools. They have all kinds of sellers even jewelry but BE VERY CAREFUL especially buying jewelry from a flea market. You can't verify the authenticity without a acid kit. Flea markets are more of a marketplace then a place searching for a hidden treasure. Lastly there are two major downfalls. 1. The parking & leaving is something to be desired. Parking is very hard to find due to the amount of traffic coming in & out of this place. Also if you have a luxury car be careful because the parking spots are small. Also people always try to walk behind your car when you're backing up. 2.Getting out of the parking lot can sometimes be tricky due to the amount of traffic on route 1. Never seen the animals that people are talking about: ducks, chickens, PEACOCKS??!! even though I've been there many times over the years. :) Originally went there back in the day for the little store in the back corner that sold authentic Mexican Art/Pottery/etc. Another authentic item you can buy are the straw Cowboy hats that they can steam fit to the size of your head, and the leather Cowboy Boots. Since I'm from Houston, this is the type of clothing Houstonians wear on a regular. Lately, I've been going there for quick cell-phone cases when I can't wait for a new one from Amazon. One vendor has lots of choices. The guy who sells the blankets outside (that you can see from the road) has surprisingly thick blankets. Not cheaply made. Big ones are around $45. Not bad at all. There's something for everyone, and it's fun to go to. I've never tried the food yet, though. read more

This place is huge! With lots and lots of items for sale inside. It was very cool seeing all of the handmade items for sale from Mexico. They have food places inside with Mexican/Salvadoran food mostly. I got tostadas with carne asada for $10 and they are the absolute BEST tostadas I've ever eaten in my entire life. They were amazing and a million times better than the tacos. Honestly we drove over an hour to get here and I have to say it wasn't worth the hour drive but if you're nearby it's pretty cool to check it out and you might find some cool things. read more

Argh!!! Why was my review removed, yelp? Why!?!?!?!? Ok.... about this place. Bring a Spanish speaker. It is all Mexican everything. It is fun, entertaining, and haggling is to be had. I found some fabulous scarves here for fall and winter all variety of different types all for $5 each. I compared prices with the same brand I had found in other places, and these were were $10 and $15 at the flea market. I can't even begin to tell you how many cowboys in sections there were. If you want, they are to be found here. Once again varying prices. I saw one pair f9r $75 and another one for $500. Real leather they say. Food is overpriced. I'll definitely try to capitalize on the whole Mexican aspect food offerings here. It is a small trek from DC, but it's well worth checking it out if you're interested in having a little bit of a cultural experience. read more

Come early to grab a parking spot and bring CASH. Most of the vendors here are Latinos and a few Asians and Caucasians. You don't necessarily have to bring a hispanic friend with you to haggle; I bought an acer Aspire One netbook for $75 (original price was $100) with no tax! Disclaimer: I am not hispanic. Plenty of club clothes (if you know what I mean), blankets, used items, shoes, toys, cellphone accessories, baby clothes and items, luggages, household items, used and new tools, 3 for $10 bras, dvds, knives, swords, livestock such as chickens and rabbits - you might get lucky and get yourself a free puppy (i swear it just happened today when I was there). Most of the prices are reasonable and very good if you're able to negotiate. Definitely a great place to stock up on tools and clothing. read more

Okay, this is not a real flea market. This is more a swap meet market or some sort. Granted, we did purchase some nice suitcases and some collectible glassware we were looking for. It was worth a look and there was a nice mixture of items to purchase. The produce looked fresh and if we were heading home after our shopping trip, we might have purchased some. I will agree with Helen M; it was like transporting to South American, but in a good way. I might stop by again. read more

I have been coming here for 4 years and it hasn't gotten old and very interesting to see the Mexicans and salvadorians but my favorite place is a electronic store near the popular fruit store Goldstar Tech LLC I have so many good deals and I highly recommend and also explore the rest of the flea market very interesting I'll add pictures of the electronic store read more

Disappointed at the flea market on my first visit. It is huge, but a lot of the vendors are the same. Lots of women's clothing and underwear, lots of reflective work clothing, lots of tools. Some perfume, shoes and old electronics. I was hoping to find some kids' stuff but there were only a few cheap (cheaply made) toys and then one stall with a pile of kids stuff that was dirty and overpriced. Not very many vendors selling used items, and the prices seemed high for a flea market. Probably because most places sold new items. I didn't get any food because it was so crowded and the lines were long. If you are claustrophobic or get anxiety in cramped spaces, beware! It is crowded, at least when I went around 1pm. Might be better early, and you might actually find parking within a reasonable time. Overall, I felt the vendors were over priced and lacked variety. Don't think I'll go back unless I'm looking specifically for something I saw there. read more

I'm pretty sure I was transported to either Mexico or El Salvador, so that was kind of fun in a really weird way. They did have all the basic stuff you would expect at a real flea market though, like fake purses, sunglasses, knives, tons of stolen electronics (think Tom Toms and car stereos), lots of tools, perfumes, cheap clothes, dvds, video games, etc. Overall a good selection, just too crowded and too weird. One of the vendors was telling a cusomer (in so many words) that most of their customer base works on Saturday so it is less busy on Saturdays. read more

Why does this place exist? Why doesn't the police department shut it down? It is very interesting, many Hispanic and some Asian vendors selling all sorts of interesting merchandise. It is a good place to buy hardware, hispanic clothes, near expired food and stolen power tools if you're into that. My favorite is the trailer on the open lot selling chickens, ducks, rabbits and today a first, peacocks. I come here to buy cheap sunglasses, razors, produce and luggage on occasion. It serves its purpose I guess. Parking can be tough. Come early or late like around 3pm. They start to wind things down around 3 and close at 4. I think the 'food court' might be pretty good, but I need to get a little bit braver to try. I approve with caution. read more

What you see from the outside doesn't match the inside... Arrived around 9am lots of parking but some of the vendors weren't set up yet! Saw the trailer with ducks, chickens, bunnies and organic eggs (pretty cool). Lots of typical "swap meet" stuff (sunglasses, phone cases, luggage and phone chargers etc.) Grabbed some aguas and fruit from the inside stand; all fresh and good. Walked around and the inside is HUGE! Tons of kids clothes, adult clothes (pants, shirt, short shorts, skirts), shoes you name it. Even any Faja (girdle) and support garment you could think of!! There a few places that were selling kitchen stuff (stand mixers, blenders old and new) and Multiple stalls with yard equipment and tools. Grabbed a Carne Asada Torta from the food court and a quesadilla for my monsters (which they said "this tastes like you make mom!") Pretty good my main complaint is the price. NoVA is truly the most expensive area and having lived in San Diego and going back and forth to Tijuana I must have been more spoiled than I realized! After everything was said and done we dropped about $50 on food and it was good but I don't think it was $50 good; not including the hour from to and from. There was one stall that had everything I use to see at the border but about 3x's the price! I will return but plan on getting my haggle on and either eating before or sticking to the bags of Pepino con chile! It's still less expensive than having my family ship me stuff so for now this place does sort of feel like home! I totally support checking it out! People is so nasty at this place. They just sell stuffs that are incomplete or in a bad shape MIKE the owner of this place literaly kick me out letting ME know that I dont have the right to return the item that I got from here. I will make a big complain at the consumer affair and the health department I was trying just TO return a processor that wasnt with all the part at the time that they sell it to me. The guy also wrote the wrong date that I got the item juST to make sure I wasnt gonna be AVAIBLE TO return it and wrote no refund on my receipt, telling me verbally that I had the right to return it in a 2 weeks. Ashame on this people that is just trying to sell things that are incomplete or in a bad condition they also sell a lot different things illegally. I will make sure this dont happend to anybody else in the future. Mike the owner of this place has a really bad attitud and apparently dont worry about the customers complain his behavior was unacceptable and I think he should try to learn how to treat people for the next time. read more
